《One of Us》Chapter 12

Justin pulled her up from the chair, thanked Shaun and walked them out. They got back in the car and Justin wanted to make sure they were still good to continue their evening. She agreed and he drove off, holding her hand as they went. Soon, they pulled up into what Avery knew to be an exclusive and upscale gated neighborhood. The gate opened to Justin's car and they drove slowly through before turning on a long street and in the driveway of a large, sprawling one story house covered in stone and siding.
"Where are we?" Avery asked and Justin pulled to a stop.
"My house," he said, "I'm not ready to take you to the clubhouse yet and share you with others."
Her eyes went wide and she trailed behind him as they walked up the front walk and went through the large glass doors and into a large entryway. Avery couldn't help but be in awe of the simplicity and class of the house, with high vaulted ceilings and beautiful floors. It was a stunning house. And somehow Avery felt it was Justin's taste and suited him to a tee.
Justin watched as she looked around his house, trying not to be nervous. He had no idea why, but he wanted her to like it, desperately. He licked his lips and put his hands in his pockets to dry them off as she walked around, looking at the ceilings and running her hands along the fixtures.
Avery could see the touches of an almost six year old little girl around the house with fluffy pink and purple pillows on the leather couches and glittery drawings in frames all around. Not to mention the large selection of tiny shoes under the entryway bench. It felt like home and he looked even sexier standing there to see her reaction.

She turned to him, "It really is a beautiful home Justin."
He felt the breath he was holding explode out of him as he smiled, "Thanks."
She moved back to his side, "I can tell this is a big house, it's just you and Alexis here?"
Justin nodded, "Yup, just us. I have the extra rooms for any out of state MC friends that don't want to stay at the clubhouse. It's been quiet for a few months, so no one has been here."
Avery nodded and suddenly felt her heart rate increase with nervousness, "How about a drink?"
Justin smiled, took her hand and led her to the kitchen again, sitting her on one of the stools he had pulled up and went to the fridge. He pulled out a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and some sparkling wine. She raised an eyebrow at him.
Justin smiled, "Just a little romance..."
She chuckled, "You are incorrigible!"
Justin just smiled as he watched her take a bite of one of the strawberries. He loved the way her mouth moved and the way the muscles in her throat made her skin move as she swallowed. It was the dumbest thing he had ever noticed on a woman, but he couldn't help but want to bite on her neck. 'What the hell is the matter with me?' he wondered as he took a sip of the sweet liquid. This wasn't his drink of choice, but with Avery in front of him he would forgo the whiskey for the night.
They talked lightly again, laughing as she told him some of the crazy things she saw as a substitute teacher. Justin moved to sit next to her at one point and somehow during all the talking, his hand was on her leg, tracing small circles on the material and Avery loved the feeling. It gave her goosebumps of anticipation as she noticed that he was very close to her now and leaned in as he kissed her softly. And while it may have started out slowly, Justin quickly brought it to a deep passionate kiss that she felt from the top of her head all the way to her toes.

Not breaking the kiss, he pulled her close to him as he stood up. She was much shorter than him and he held on to her with one arm and used the other to hold her under her juicy ass. He had to have her, claim her. It was a feeling deep in the marrow of his bones and had no idea why. She was not the typical woman he went after. He liked leggy women, who wore short skirts and shorts to show them off. And he liked big tits; he didn't care if they were fake, he just liked touching and sucking on them.
Avery was totally different. She dressed more demure and professional. She wasn't tall by any standard, only maybe 5'5''. He hadn't seen her legs yet except in jeans, but she had an ass that he knew if he took her from behind he could grab onto and love every second. She had a moderate sized rack, so he was totally confused.
He was jolted out of his thoughts when Avery pulled away and whispered as he moved to her ear lobe, "Wanna show me the bedroom?"

The Emperor's Concubine
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The heroine is good and the villainess is evil. That was the absolute truth. That rule was undeniable as well as the fact that only the heroine would receive true love and her happy ending. Likewise, the malicious villainess would always suffer and leave the stage to clear the path for the perfect heroine in the end. So, for Blanche it felt like her world came crashing around her when she remembered the truth about her life. As the villainess in the typical romance novel “To Be Empress” she was fated to be condemned and abandoned by her lover. No matter how devoted she was to Theodore Estien, the emperor of Artias, she would only be the bratty concubine that would obstruct the heroine, who happened to be Theodore's lawful wife and the empress. In the end, the villainess would be deserted and executed. It was destined to happen like this, and yet she couldn't give up. She had to change the future. Preventing the romance between the main characters would get her killed. Much like trying to steer away from the enemies' intrigues, in which she was already caught up, would. But neither the heroine nor the emperor's political rivals would change the fact that Blanche loved the man that was supposed to be the heroine's. And no matter what happened she would always stay by her lover's side. So she wouldn't just follow the book's storyline and let her own doom arrive. Blanche would survive while trying to suppress all of the selfish desires that had made her the villainess. But was she truly fine with that? Did she not desire more than just surviving? Did she even have the right? Could the villainess ask for a happy end? Was she too brazen if she just wanted to stay with the man she loved and receive his affection? And wasn't there a bit more to this novel than she remembered? She didn't know and in the end that mattered little when the world around her changed with each day as more and more questions about the future and the past arose. "The Emperor's Concubine" will be updated thrice a week (usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) *The Profanity tag was added due to the characters' occasional swearing, which should not happen too often.
