Her face frowned up in confusion and I chuckled,
"You feel it don't you? It's yours."
She blushed and looked away from me. I slid her hand into my pocket, letting her grab out her phone. She makes it so easy to read what she's thinking. It's cute...
She covered her face with her hands and shook her head, "You did that on purpose-"
"Did what? I returned what was yours and that was all. Were you expecting something different?" I asked, smiling, I ran my thumb across her soft lips and cupped her face with my hand, "Something like this, hmm?"
My lips were nearly rubbing against hers with every word I spoke, I watched her eyes flicker down toward them and I pulled away. "To tell you the truth I wanted to speak with you, I find you quite interesting."
"Why...?" She inquired and I tilted my head, "Well, that... I don't know. I was drawn to you. That terrified look you give off while managing to surprise me every time I run into you, you don't give up easy do you? I killed a man in front of you, I threatened you, I broke into your home...I've more or less kidnapped you yet here you are Jeyri. Not many people dare to look me in my eyes yet you..."
My eyes left hers and trailed down her body, "It's all enough to make a man weak to his knees. What is it about you that's different...?"
I was more talking to myself than her but it's all the same, she understood. I stood up and paced slowly around the room. "Did Lorenzo say anything to you?" I asked, switching the conversation. I actually needed to know about that. "If his name causes you trauma, I apologize, but do understand that it's important."

"Oh-" She went quiet for a while then spoke. " He said that he'd made sure your hands were full so you wouldn't be coming to save me, and that I ruined his plans to gain your trust so he was going to hurt me because of it."
"Hmm. Did he mention a man named Dino?"
"No."
"What about Lucifer?"
She frowned and shook her head, "He didn't..."
Interesting. So I know everything she's told me so far. Lorenzo as well as the three from before, they're all turning against me. I need to find the rest of the rats in the nest and exterminate them before it becomes a bigger problem.
"Umm..." I looked toward her as she spoke up again and I nodded at her to speak, "Yes?"
"My house-"
"Sebastian is there. I will allow you to return once we've discarded Lorenzo and made sure that there are no further threats to your safety there."
"Threats? To me? Why?"
"Well if people believe there's a relationship between you and I then it's not hard to connect the dots as to why. Besides, it might get difficult for you if the police come asking questions as well no?" I said and her eyes widened slightly. "R-right."
Good, she catches on quick.
"What about my friend?! My friend Hayl-" Her voice was cut off by the sound of gunshots and I immediately took out my gun. The shots were ringing all through the house and the sounds were getting closer. Shouts and screams started getting louder and I walked over toward her and pulled her behind me.
"se non è una cosa, è un'altra." (If it's not one thing, it's another.) I muttered underneath my breath.
"Stay behind me." I said shielding her as I heard pounding on the door. "Gio they just started to attack-" The voice was cut off with a shot and the door burst open. I immediately pulled the trigger as two guns pointed toward me and I killed two of the gunmen that stood at the entrance. I grab her hand in mine and pulled her along with me out the room,

"Keep up." I said, as I ran and she nodded quickly, a terrified expression on her face. There was more gunfire outside the room and a lot more bodies in the halls. Most of the staff were dead and a few of my men as well. This was definitely an inside job.
She screamed as a bullet grazed past her and I turned around, pushing her behind me before shooting at the person responsible.
I have to make it to my mother. I have to make sure she's safe...
There was still no sight of Matteo around. Sebastian wasn't here but he was meant to be.I would guess that Melanie was with him when this all broke out.
I made my way into my mom's room and pushed her inside before going in myself. I froze as I saw Alfred standing there over my mother with a bloody knife in his hand. He looked toward me, holding it up and he grabbed Jeyri before I could shoot at him.
"You-"
"Young Master, you seem to be quite surprised." He said, holding the knife up to her neck. I looked at the blood pooling around the bed and back to him and raised my gun toward him.
"What the fuck did you do?"
"I served under your father for years. Since he was a boy... Dino was something special to me- I raised him like my own son when his father wasn't there for him. "Sei un traditore di tutti noi Giovanni. non meriti di portare il nome Russo." (You're a traitor to all of us Giovanni. You don't deserve to bear the name Russo.)
"Mi sono fidato di te!" (I trusted you!) I yelled at him.
Jeyri flinched as he pressed the knife harder against her neck. She let out a small whimper and I clenched my jaw.
"How does it feel to have everything crumbling before you? You took away the man that we all looked up to, of course you should know it'd bite you back in the ass oneday."
"You know what he did to her-"
"She knew what she signed up for!" He yelled, cutting me off. "She accepted it! You... You are immature, you caused us so much loss because you couldn't keep in your childish feelings."
"Shut the hell up," I said, gritting my teeth.
"Drop the gun or I'll kill her."
"This is the problem with you all...mi sottovaluti." (You underestimate me.) I said, placing my finger over the trigger.

The Breath of Creation [DROPPED]
General Summary: Sometimes, the multiverse needs expanding. That's where I come in. But, unfortunately, being a deity isn't all fun and games (and is incredibly complicated), as there are always things working against you. Not even the God of the Multiverses can change that. Another Summary: Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am one of those souls. And let me tell you, this shit ain't easy. Between trying to raise mortals into an immortal army, with which I can defend my domain, dealing with my children, and trying to maintain the balance between all realms of existance, I have my work cut out for me. Sigh. Now I know why, back on Earth, gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done. Formerly called RE: Deity
