"Look at this room, Sara. It's unbelievable," Erin said.

Sara stepped past her. "Oh, wow," she said softly.

The entire room was surrounded in glass. And on the other side was nothing but ocean. Colorful, exotic fish swam around the outside of the glass.

"The room is underwater!" Erin said breathlessly. She placed her finger on the glass.

A small fish darted towards her finger curiously and chased it around the glass.

"How cute is that?" Sara said from the doorway. She glanced to the right side of the glass and saw a tiny starfish was stuck to the thick pane. "It's like we're sleeping in an aquarium."

"This is definitely no aquarium. That's the friggin' OCEAN out there!" Erin said. She leaned her head back and tried to see to the surface. "I never really considered how beautiful the world beneath the ocean really is, you know?" Erin looked sadly at Sara. "It's like people are so worried about what's on dry land, most of us forget there's an entire world underwater."

She traced a curlicue with her finger on the glass. Another two fish, one bright blue and another bright red, swam forwards and tried to touch her hand.

"OH MY GOODNESS! ERIN, LOOK OVER HERE! HURRY! IT'S A DOLPHIN!" Sara yelled.

The huge dolphin swam quickly past the window, disappearing on the other side of the wall.

"Quick! Go to the next room. He's probably over there!" Erin screamed.

The girls, giggling crazily, tore out of the room and dove into one of the next rooms in the hallway.

The new room was almost identical to the one they'd just left. Only this room had a lighter bedspread.

"THERE HE IS!" Sara shouted.

The dolphin was hovering in the center of the pane. It appeared to be looking right at them.

"HE SEES US!" Erin yelled. "Oh, wow. I'm gonna pass out I'm so happy."

"We should tell the boys," Sara said. She charged out of the room and ran up the spiral staircase.

"GUYS! WHERE ARE YOU? GET DOWN HERE NOW!" Sara yelled.

The boys were just returning from a walk outside.

"Sara, hey! What's up?" Dan said.

Bentley still wouldn't look at her. He had his phone out and was typing something into it.

"Come see! It's a surprise!" Sara said. She grabbed Dan and Trevor's shirt sleeves and started to drag them down the spiral stairs.

"Whoa, easy there, Sara Sweet," Trevor said. "If Dan and I fall, it's YOU who has to catch us."

Sara rolled her eyes. "Hurry up!"

Sara pushed them into the second room. But Erin was no longer in there.

"DUDE! IT'S THE OCEAN!" Dan said as he looked around the bedroom.

Sara raced back into the hallway. "ERIN?"

"Over here! He swam this way!" Erin called.

The group went into the third bedroom This one was on the left side of the hallway.

"Holy smokes. It's a dolphin!" Chad said, glancing up at the glass wall.

The three boys, acting like little kids at an aquarium, pushed their noses up against the glass and stared as the dolphin swam in slow circles around them.

"I've never seen a dolphin this close before. And certainly not a wild one," Dan said quietly.

More little fish swam towards the glass. Their tiny eyes followed the group's movements as if they, too, were amazed to see people under the water.

Bentley remained standing by the door. He'd put his phone into his pants pocket. "You guys wanna go out there? We can grab the snorkel gear."

Trevor practically jumped up and down. "Let's go now!" He checked his watch. "My uncle's gig doesn't start until after eight anyway. We've got a ton of time."

Erin managed to pull her eyes away from the dolphin. "When are we going to get Halloween costumes?"

Sara shrugged. "We can probably grab some ears or something before the concert tonight," she said.

Bentley cleared his throat. "The hotel can send someone to get the costumes for you. Just let them know what you want and the size. They can put everything under the same bill."

Erin and Sara looked at each other.

"Seriously?" Erin asked.

"Sure," Bentley said, as if this wasn't out of the norm for him.

"I already brought my costume," Chad said. "I'm going as a pirate."

"I'm a werewolf," Dan said. "The dumb furry costume took up so much space in my bag, I could only fit one pair of clean underwear."

Trevor punched Dan in the shoulder. "It's cool, bro. You can borrow one of mine!"

The boys guffawed loudly.

"What's your costume, Trevor?" Chad asked.

Trevor shrugged. "Erin and I are doing a couple's costume. I'll let her decide what it'll be."

"If I can make up my mind!" Erin said, crossing her arms. "Do you know how many different couple's costumes are out there?"

"You know," Dan said. "Trevor can wear my werewolf costume. That way, you can be Red Riding Hood with him! I'll have the hotel concierge select something else for me."

Trevor's eyes lit up. "Whoa, man. That idea is rad! What do you think, Erin?"

Erin made a face. "Little Red Riding Hood? Well, okay. But only if the person shopping can find it in my size."

Trevor fist pumped the air. "So what else do you wanna be for Halloween?" he asked Dan.

Dan thought for a moment. "You know, a vampire could be cool. Maybe I could bite some hot chick's neck?" He reached out a hand and pretended to choke Erin.

"Back off, weirdo," she said laughing.

"What about you, Sara?" Erin asked. "Any creative costume ideas?"

Sara shook her head. "I hadn't really thought about it," she said.

"Hey, Bentley. Do you have a costume yet?" Erin asked.

Bentley smiled. "Nah, I hadn't planned to dress up."

Erin scowled. "Oh come on. You HAVE to wear a costume. It's no fun otherwise," she said.

Trevor clicked his fingers. "Bentley and Sara should do a couple's costume too. What do you guys think?"

Sara bit her lip, feeling awkward. She kept her eyes on her feet.

Bentley made a strange grunting sound. "Whatever. I don't care. Just NO TIGHTS." His phone started to ring. He walked away to answer it.

Great. Now I have to pick out THE PERFECT Halloween costume for Mr. Perfect! What if he hates it? Sara thought with disgust.

"You know, you could be super mean and dress up as Little Bo-Peep like that children's nursery rhyme and make him a sheep!" Trevor said. The boys started to crack up.

"He'd never wear it," Sara said. And then it hit her. She knew exactly what they could be for Halloween. The idea wasn't totally outrageous. She figured Bentley might even go for it.

Now that the dolphin was out of sight, the group headed back into the hall.

"Erin, we're taking one of those underwater rooms!" Trevor called as he walked up the stairs.

Erin giggled. "He knows me too well," she whispered to Sara.

"I'm taking an underwater room, too," Sara said. "I can go to the beach if I want an ocean view. It's not every day I get the chance to sleep with dolphins and fish swimming around my bed."

When the girls reached the lounge, they saw that Trevor was busily typing a message onto the huge digital screen.

"Okay, I just asked the concierge to get Dan's vampire costume and Erin's Red Riding Hood costume." Trevor turned and looked at Sara. "Get over here and type in what you want. I have Bentley's size already in here."

Sara walked over to the digital screen. She made sure Trevor was distracted so he wouldn't tell Bentley her costume idea. Just in case Bentley hated it. Nervously, she typed it into the screen and hit submit.

Happy Halloween, she thought, smiling.
