《Her Revenge》80

I wore the strapless red dress that Enzo bought me. He left a note on the bed, telling me to wear it and come outside so that's what I did. We were still at the beach house.
I walked outside, shivering as the cold air made contact with my revealed skin. I saw petals on the floor, creating a path to I don't know where. I did what anyone else would do in such a situation, obviously, I followed the path.
I stopped right in my tracks when i saw a table with two chairs on each sides in the middle of the place. The set was surrounded by lights, and roses.
I felt someone tugging on my dress making me look down and saw Nick. He was dressed into a black suit and he was holding a card. He handed me the card and waited as I opened it.
'Turn around' was written on it. And so I did, I turned around and my eyes almost popped out of it's socket when I saw Enzo standing there looking as handsome as ever in a tuxedo.
"You look beautiful, love." He held my hand and brought it to his lips before placing a soft kiss on the back of it. Why the hell was he being so...formal?
"Come on." He led me towards the table without giving me the chance to compliment him back. He pulled the chair for me and I sat down mumbling a small 'thank you'. I looked around for Nick and frowned when I didn't see him anywhere.
"Where is—" I was cut off by Enzo who replied, waving his hand, "don't worry about him. He's fine."
I nodded, believing his words. He was acting weirdly nice. He even pulled the chair for me, I mean, he never did that before. Did he win a lottery or something? But then again what's a loterry to him? He already is rich. I internally frowned. What's up with him?

My eyes fell on the covered food on the table. I uncovered it and found pizza underneath. I looked up at him and found him smiling at me.
"Is this a date?" I asked, furrowing my brows, while looking at him curiously. He nodded, "kind of." He then began eating his own food as did I.
We talked about random things; like, he told me, he wanted us to go on a date since we never really went a real date. He then informed me about what was happening in the underworld or mafia world, however you call it.
"I'm fixing it. As soon as it's clear, we can go away from here, somewhere safe, like you wanted." He said to which I sigh, "if you don't want to leave your family to deal with the mafia business alone, I completely understand and we don't have to le—"
He cut me off, "No, it's fine. I've already told Antonio to take over and he said that he will. If he needs any help, my dad will be there for him and me too, if he needs my help. Besides, it's only temporary. I'll take over again after a year or two."
I nodded in understanding. I didn't want him to leave his mafia or anything. What I wanted was for us to be safe. I didn't want to have a repeat of last time.
When we were done eating, he stood up and said he needed to wash his hands so he left while I waited. I was waiting when all the lights suddenly went off, alerting me.
I looked around but couldn't see anything since it was dark. I turned the flashlight in my phone on and searched around but frowned when I didn't see anything out if whack nor anyone.
The lights then went on again and I exhaled in relief. I turned around and was about to walk back to the table when I saw Enzo standing in front of me.

"What are you doing?"
He cleared his throat, "I know when we first met, we didn't really get along. You were stubborn and would always go against my orders. Even though that annoyed the hell out of me, I couldn't bring myself to do anything to you." He chuckled making me smile, "anyway, I don't know when or how I fell for you but I did and I'm falling for you more and more everyday."
He then got down on one knew and took out something from his pocket. It was small velvet box. He opened it, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. My heart skipped a beat when I realized what was happening.
Dude was proposing.
"Azalea Romano, I don't think I'll ever love someone as much as I love you and I want you to be mine forever, Will you marry me?"
I bit my lip, my eyes stinging with tears. I've never been so happy in my entire existence. I nodded, "Yes." He then slid the ring in my finger and stood up before his lips made contact with my own.
"She said yes!" The familiar voice of my brother shouted making other voices replied, "we heard, we are here, with you too."
Enzo and I broke the kiss. We turned around and I saw everyone standing there with a huge grin plastered on their faces, even Liliana was there.
"You planned all this?" I asked Enzo who nodded, "of course, I did."
I was engulfed into a hug by Arabella followed by the others who congratulated me.
"I'm happy for you." Alessio said while hugging me. "I'm happy for you too." I muttered, referring to Liliana. He broke the hug and smiled, "She's amazing."
"Do you love her?" I asked to which he was silent for a while before shaking his head, "I don't think so...I think I just...like her? I don't know how being in love feels. I've never been so I can't tell."
"Well you two have been dating for months now and you clearly like her a lot. You two look great together." I smiled, "have you told her yet?"
"About the mafia? Nope." He replied, his eyes flickering to her every now and then as if he was scared she would disappear. "I will tell her on her birthday. It's in two days. I hope she takes it well."
"I think she will. She doesn't look like someone who'll run as soon as they hear the word." I said and chuckled at my own words, "but for real though, I really am happy for you. You deserve all the happiness in the world, little brother." He smiled and hugged me one more time before walking away.
I then was hugged by someone else. It was Nick. Enzo was holding him and he was hugging me, "congratulations, mommy."
"Thank you, baby." I kissed his forehead as I break the hug, "I love you." He grinned, "I love you too." Enzo wrapped his arms around me, "I love you both."

"Let me ask you who is a demon?" In folk and lore, a demon is portrayed as a bloodthirsty, horrifying creature and an unholy being. The demonic path's inheritance is severed and the righteous path reign supreme. Despite not Being a Hero, Saint, or Even a Demon King, I was Summoned
I was summoned to another world. Not as a Hero, not as a Saint, not even as a Demon King, but as a regular contract demon. You know, like the ones that come when you sacrifice a chicken or something on top of a magic circle. It's a bit weird, especially since I'm human, but I've just decided to go with the flow for now. Which apparently means becoming the employee of an item shop. (What's that? You want to know what cheat powers I've been given? Well, how about an inexhaustible source of mana substitute? ...Holy crap, I have an inexhaustible source of mana substitute.)

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
