Ashley POV

I wake from my sleep by the sound of the room door opening. I slowly open my eyes to see Izzy walking in and going into his closet. This past week he has been staying in the one of the other rooms and coming back in the mornings so that his parents dont realize that he isn't staying in the house. I really don't care if they know or not so i offered to pack up and go back to my apartment once again but he insisted that i stayed.

I get out of bed slowly leaning over placing my hands over my face sending a short prayer to god. I've been trying to stay stress free and calm for the sake of the baby and i's health. Its been easier being that everyone has been trying to keep me distracted.

I take the time to make up the bed before walking into the bathroom not realizing Israel was getting into the shower.

"oh im sorry" i jump back a little before going over to the sink and begin my hygiene routine. By the time i finished, he was still in the shower so i go ahead and head out of the room. As i walk towards Aidens room i bump into Ms.Sharon... coming out of Rodneys room.

"oh hey baby" she states smiling. I couldnt help but to smile and raise my eyebrow at her.

"hey ma... you look like you had a good night" i state taking note of her wild hair and tight robe.

"you didn't see anything" she says as i hold in my laughter

"see what? Im not sure what you're referring to" i state before walking past her and into Aidens room seeing that he is still asleep being that it is only 7:30. I slowly exit his room before quietly traveling down the stairs and going into the kitchen to make my smoothie. I cringe as i press the blend button causing the blender to sound in the house. After a few more loud pulses, i have a nice smoothie. I grab my new yoga mat and head outside by the pool to start my daily routine that i have started. i dont know why i haven't started anything like this before. My body has been feeling better and overall it clears my mind for the time being.

"you know its rude to stare" i say to Izzy who is standing with his hands in his pants pockets as i go into a position that stretches the inside of my thighs. Yall dont understand how great it feels. I watch him from the corner of my eye as he takes a seat in one of the pool chairs.

"im was just curious as to why you been getting up all early... you not tired?" he says looking at me.

"nope. I honestly dont think ive ever had this much energy before" i state before going into another pose. "if you gone be out here you might as well join me" i say to him as he takes a sip of my smoothie.

"naa im good ma im just making sure you'n hurt yo self" he says as my phone begins to ring.

"who is calling me this early " i say as he brings the phone over before answering and placing it on speaker. "well goodmorning, Christian" i say to my little brother who is supposed to be getting ready for school.

"hey Ash Bash im just checking on you and the baby" he say through the phone.

"we are fine. Im just doing some yoga" i say putting my legs in a butterfly position.

"could you give me Izzys number i got something i want to talk to him about" he asks

"he's actually right here ill have him send it to you but why are you not at school" i ask

"i actually am. I had morning practice. Its fine if i stop by after?" he asks before he begins talking to someone in the background. "alright sis i gotta go, love you"

"alright christian" i say as he hangs up the phone before i can even give him an answer. Knowing him he will just stop by anyways. "he's something else" i mumble as i laugh. "you work today?" i ask Izzy knowing he probably has hella shit piled up. He has been staying home trying to be of help and prove himself but i know he still has shit to take care of.

I watch him from my peripheral as he runs his hand over his face.

"yeah... im gone try and get everything done before it get late so ill get home before Santana go to bed." he says as i just nod my head. Theres no reason for me to get worked up so i really have nothing to say at the moment. "im about to head out in a min tho" he says looking down to his phone. I figured he was honestly.

"okay" is all i say as i reach over and grab my smoothie before rolling my mat up and walking back into the house. I dont look back as i feel Izzy walking behind me. As i walk into the room i kick off my shoes before going into the bathroom and turning on the shower. I walk back out and head into the closet before undressing. As i reach for my robe i realize that i left it in the bathroom. Not caring i walk naked back through the room noticing Israel struggling with his cuff links. I was about to walk back into the bathroom but a part my mind told me to go help his big headed ass.

"let me see" is all i say before he looks to me and places the links in my hand. I grab his arm before easily placing the on. "where's your tie?" i ask lowly as i adjust his collar. He doesn't say anything as he hands me the silk black tie. His eyes stay on me as my hands adjust the tie to his comfort. "good?" i ask looking up to him.

"yes thank you ma" he says as he places his hands onto my bare waist only for me to softly push them off and try to walk away. I am quickly turned back around and pulled into a hug.

"dont keep doing me like that ash" he says as his hands slither against his waist.

"how am i doing you Israel?" i look up to him

"acting like you dont want me to touch you n shit" he says

"im doing that because every time you touch me the way you are we end up having sex and i dont want you thinking that sex is going to solve our problems because its not" i look to him.

"i understand that ash but you dont have to act like you dont want to be bothered with me. That shit hurtful" he says.

"I'm sorry" i say

"dont be, i get where you coming from..." he says as i pull away from him hopefully going to take my shower. "Im taking you out tonight so be ready by 8:30-9"

"taking me where?" i place my hand on my lower back.

"damn Ash what if i wanted it to be a surprise?" he shakes his head. "just dress comfortable." he says before i nod my head and walk back into the bathroom and hop into my long shower. After finishing up my morning shower place on some comfortable clothes before walking to Aidens room finding him awake.

"mama" he say as he sees me approaching.

"hi my love" i get him out of his crib before changing his diaper. "dada" he says as i change him.

"dada went bye-bye he'll be back later okay?" i say as if he will understand that. After getting him situated i walk down stairs to the room Ms. Sharon stays in. I knock a few times before she answers. "hey ma" i say as i walk in placing Aiden onto the bed and he goes straight to her.

"hey babies." she kissed him

"yall want to go to the nail salon with me in a few hours?" i ask referring to her and Jas. I don't want to be rude no matter how disrespectful the girl has been to me.

"Yeah baby ill go Jas needs to stay and get her school work done" she says. Since Jas is still expelled from school she has to do online school for now.

"Okay I'm going to feed my baby" I say as she gets off the bed and grabs Aiden before we all walk back into the kitchen where I begin pulling out things to cook breakfast. As I begin to place the bacon onto the baking sheet I hear someone else enter the kitchen. I turn around to see Jas taking a seat at the dining room table.

"Good morning" she says to the two of us

"Good morning" ms.Sharon says

"Morning" I say back to her as I pull out the grits from the pantry. I look down feeling two small hands on my leg. I smile seeing Aiden standing up beside me. Picking him up, I walk him over to the living room where I place the baby gate so he can't get out.

"Where's Izzy?" She asks aloud. After I figured ms.sharon didn't hear her I decided to just answer her

"He went to work" I say returning back to my task.

"Oh okay" she says before we return back to silence. I really don't have anything to say to Jas because of how she treated me in the past. I really would've loved to have a relationship with her but I'm not about to keep trying with her.

"Ashley I'm sorry" she says catching me off guard. I turn around from the stove and face her. I watch silently as she figure with her fingers as she looks down. "I treated to wrong with out even knowing you. I'm sorry for putting you in that situation with nique. I really wish I would've never done that you were nothing but nice to me" she says trying to avoid eye contact.

"Okay..." I start. "Thank you for that but I feel like it's going to take some time for me to fully trust what you are saying because you have said this before." I say as I check on the grits stirring them.

"I understand.." she says as I stay quiet before finishing cooking in silence. After cooking I fix our plates before Rodney comes down stairs.

"Well good morning" he says as he enters the room.

"I bet" I say lowly as ms.sharon hears me before looking at me with her eyes wide as I laugh. We all eat mainly in silence before Jas goes off and does her work and rodney takes Aiden into the living room. It isn't long before Ms. Sharon and i go off to the nail salon. Being that it is the middle of the week everything is pretty much empty due to everyone being at work and what not.

"so Israel told me you met your dad... how'd that go?" she says as we sit down in the pedicure chairs. I've told her in the past about my non existent relationship with my father and she was very empathetic.

"It was hot mess at first. I mean like his wife was and still is a complete bitch to me for no reason. I mean i understand why she would be mad but i had nothing do with her husbands decisions. But we met alone a few weeks back and we have been keeping in touch since." i say to her as i turn on the chairs massage setting.

"well that's good baby... i just hope he can own up to his mistakes and not hurt you anymore because you dont deserve any of that" she says looking through the magazine. I pay my attention back to the man who is doing the hell out of my swollen feet before closing my eyes and experiencing heaven.

"I wish i could stay down here with you and help you with these babies. Especially with my knuckle headed son not staying with you." she says making me pop my eyes open "babygirl yall cant hid nothing from me. I know how relationships work and yall got thin walls in that house." she says not taking her eyes off the book in her hand.

"ma...honestly im nervous. We are about to have two children not even a year apart and we are still trying to work through our problems. I try to look on the bright side of things but that's hard with so many changes happening at once" I say placing my hand over my stomach.

"well honey... god gives his toughest challenges to his strongest angels. You aren't alone in any of this. You have a great support system that wants the best for you and these babies. Hell even my son big headed ass is by your side even when he isn't thinking. Everything is going to work itself out in time just have faith" she says. One thing ive learned about Ms. Sharon is that she is very optimistic and can help cheer anyone up. I take in what she says before we finish up our nails.

"Yeah girl I'm down here now. You know I don't want daisy down here by herself" a woman comes in. The woman is a lighter skin tone with short blonde hair that is cut into a bob. She ends up getting seated right beside me. I don't mind but she was literally talking about her baby daddy the whole time.

"I'm sorry but you are so pretty" she says causing me to turn my head to see her looking at me.

"Oh thank you so are you" I smile at her

"No like you are really pretty" she says "I'm rose" she extends her hand

"Ashley" I say as I smile before I feel someone standing beside me.

"I'm sorry ma'am but you have a call from Shadow" the guard whose name I have yet to learn says. I honestly forgot that they were following us.

I grab the phone from him before placing it to my ear.

"Is there a reason you can't pick up the phone?" Izzys rude ass says as I make a stank face.

"I'm at the nail salon with your mom" I state to him as I roll my eyes

"Ian ask your where you was at." He says as I grab my phone noticing three missed calls from him.

"Okay dad" I say chuckling at him

"Yeah that's what you be saying when I'm fu-" I cut him off

"OKAY" I say as he begins to laugh

"But naa dead ass Ash you can't be doing that I'm tryna make sure y'all straight. Ion need nothing happening to any of y'all again" he says as I bite my lip. Honestly by him saying that it made me feel a little at ease. It wasn't long ago that I was held captive against my will and he is trying to show he cares about our family's safety.

"Alright 'Shadow'" I say mocking his guards.

"Chill out you know ion want you calling me that" he says as I laugh.

"I know it's just funny hearing them say it"

"You ate yet?" He asks as soon as my stomach begins to rumble.

"I ate breakfast a few hours ago we gone get some after this" I state

"Don't be starving my child Ashley"

"Boy ain't nobody starving yo child" I suck my teeth as I roll my eyes

"Ian no lil boy Ash Ian gone tell you again you gonr make me have to show you" he says to me. I couldn't say what I wanted to cause his mom was right next to me.

"But we are about to leave out I'll see you later right?" I ask referring to our date

"Yeah ma ill see you later" he says before we hang up.

"Well it was nice to meet you Rose but I need to get some food to this child before they kill me" I laugh as I get up from the pedicure chair before picking up my purse and sliding on my shoes. I could tell Rose kept her eyes on me as we left out but I didn't say anything.

Ms.Sharon and I spend the remainder of our time out eating and we went by a boutique to find me a nice satin dress to wear out tonight. By the time we made it home Aiden was down for his nap and house was pretty much quiet.

"Finally y'all back y'all brought some food" Rodney asks hopping up from the couch.

"None for you busta" Ms.Sharon saying as just shake my head. Izzys parents both look as if they are no older that 40 and I mean a good forty. Rodney is a light skinned man who has light colored eyes with grey hairs growing from his full beard. Ms.Sharon on the other hand is light skinned as well with shoulder length straight hair.

The door bell rings before I walk over the door. I open it up to see Chris standing there.

"Hey sis" he says hugging me.

"Hey Chris you just didn't have practice" I ask him

"No but I have a game Friday are you coming" we walk back into the living room.

"You know I am" I say as we walk in

"Chris this is Izzys parents Ms.Sharon and Rodney. Ma and Rodney this is Chris my little brother• I introduce them before we all begin talking.

Through out the rest of the day I spend time with them as well as Aiden while Jaz finishes up her school work. I peeked in a few times and saw her really focused. I know from experience it takes discipline to stay focused on online school so I was impressed. Izzy did tell me that she was very smart but just was going down the wrong path. I hope she can steer it straight before it gets too late.

I hum Daniel Caesar's Japanese Denim as I unroll the curler in my head revealing the large curls before spraying some of the perfume I know Izzy loves onto my neck and wrists. I take a look at myself in the bathroom mirror as I analyze the dress one more time. It wasn't right but it wasn't loose. It clung to my hips and outlined my stomach. The more I stare, the more I begin to feel I pleased with my appearance.

"Ashley get up out that mirror" I hear Ms.Sharon yell from my bed room. I blow out a breath before turning and walking out of the bathroom. "Oh baby you look fine girl" she says as Aiden begins to clap

"You sure you want to wear that I mean your legs are completely out-"Chris is cut off my Ms.Sharon.

"What?" He says as she hands him Aiden before he walks out of the room.

"You sure I mean it could be a-" she cuts me off

"Ashley you look gorgeous baby I promise. Baby and all" she smiles to me before I smile back. I walk over to the closet before picking out a pair of comfortable sandals that still go with my outfit. As much as I want to wear heels I know my feet will not be able to handle it tonight.

"Hello" I speak into the phone

"Come on out ma" Izzys voice blares through the phone before I hang up and grab my purse.

"I'll see you later bubby I love you" I kiss a Aidens head before saying my goodbyes to everyone else and walking out the house to see Izzy fine ass leaning on the hood of the g-wagon with his hands in his pants pockets. I don't know when he changed but he is now in some denim jeans with a tee and some sneakers.

"You look good ma" he says looking me up and down before I wrap my hands around his neck pulling him into a hug. After getting in the car we pull off to our set destination.

After about a ten minute drive we pull up to a park. I don't say anything before he comes around and opens my door. Good thing I got some off spray in my bag.

"What's out here baby" I say as he holds my hand leading me into the empty park. As we get closer I see a pavilion with lights and candles coming into view. As we get closer I notice food tray, blankets and pillows decorating the area. I observe in awe as we sit down.

"How the hell you think of this stuff" I say as I sit down and he places my feet over his lap before pulling off my sandals and massaging them. And Bitch I almost tapped out then. That foot massage was feeling immaculate.

"I just think of you" he says as he looks up to me. He tryna sweet talk the hell out of me. And that shit was working. "You hungry?" He says as he opens up the covered trays revealing a Charcuterie board, some wings, and some cajun pasta; everything that I was craving at the moment. My eyes lit up and my stomach began to get excited as we began to fix our plates.

"How was your day today" I ask him coming up for air from my plate

"I had you to look forward to seeing so Hathaway got me through it" he says

"Awwweee" I leaning over towards him.

"You wasn't looking forward to seeing me ma damn I'm hurt" he say wiping a fake tear

"You know I couldn't wait to see you stop acting" I say rolling my eyes before I begin eating once again.

"Ashley..." he says

"Yes...." I say as I pick up another wing

"Ashley I know I ain't been being the best partner or being there as much as I should be but I'm gone be better and do better for you Santana and the baby. I know I'm just saying it right now but ima show you I'm serious Ash. Ian never felt the way I feel about you before. And I'm gone make it right because ion see myself being able to not be with you." I begin to feel tears begin to prickle my eyes before a few fall.

"I-I love you Israel" I stutter out as I feel more emotional.

"You'n have to just say that Ash" he says
