Zhao Wan exclaimed. “So you weren’t sick when you dropped out of school for four years. You were having a kid!”

Zhao Wan was half way through what she was saying when Chi Ying quickly put her hands over her mouth. “Shhhh.”

Zhao Wan’s voice lowered and she whispered into Chi Ying’s ear, “I’ve always thought you were interested in romance at all. Turned out you have been taken this entire time! Leniency to those who confess; severity to those who resist. Who’s the child’s father?”

Chi Ying’s mouth opened slightly.

Zhao Wan started again before Chi Ying said anything. “Wait. This kid looks very familiar. Let me guess… Oh, shoot. He looks a lot like…”
