She came towards us and kept Samir's hand on my waist, pushing him towards me.

My breath was stuck I glanced at Samir who was standing with a straight face looking at Priya, correction 'glaring'.

As she was going back to her place Samir whispered in my ear "Breathe" I almost forgot. I released the breath I was holding.

Why is it so awkward? Help.

Priya pulled out her phone and after some minutes she was satisfied with whatever she got on her phone.

Samir immediately removed his hand from my waist and I stepped away, Priya came to me and showed me the pics. 

She asked for my number and sent it to me right then. Mom smiled as she looked at the pics.

Three of us were busy discussing about the pics while Samir and his dad were talking about something else. 

"Mumma" The baby cried and Priya picked him up in her arms.

"He must be hungry let's have dinner" Mom said and I walked to kitchen with her. She asked the maid to place the food on table. She turned towards me. 

"Is Samir treating you good?" She asked it our of blue and I took a moment to register her words and respond.

"yes" She kept looking at me with a stern look "mom don't look at me like that, I'm not lying trust me"

She nodded and smiled at me "If he ever tries to do something that hurts you be free to tell me, okay?" 

"okay" I smiled and she did the same. We walked back to the dining table and mom asked me to sit next to Samir while she sat next to Priya.

We started eating our food which wasn't spicy so I enjoyed it even more. Priya kept telling me how mischievous Samir was as a kid, and many more things about his school life and childhood. 

I enjoyed the dinner so much, both Priya and mom were making the atmosphere so lively and cheerful.

They're so sweet. It's way more better than my house.

"Samir stay over for night, please I really wanna spend more time with Pihu" Priya pleaded as I was holding her son in my arms after many protests done by the little one. 

"I can't I have a meeting tomorrow and it's important" He replied while fixing his sleeves.

"Please"

"Priya" He was slowly getting annoyed.

"Can you let Pihu stay here alone, without you" I looked at Priya then at Samir.

"Mom look at her acting like a stupid, we're leaving right now don't create a mess Priya" He said and I handed the baby back to her.

"Don't worry we can catch up later" She smiled at me and I hugged mom and dad before walking out following Samir to his car. 

I sat in and pulled my seatbelt after driving for a few minutes he spoke

"Did you enjoy the dinner?" I knew he was looking at me but I ignored him and kept a straight face. 

"Pihu" I looked out of the window. "Pihu I'm talking to you" I kept staring outside and he stopped the car abruptly. 

"don't test my patience" Just by his voice I knew he was mad right now. He held my chin, softly but I yanked his hand away. 

"I don't like it when you touch me while you're mad, don't dare you do that again" I snapped at him and he glared back at me. 

"show me your wrist" 

"Don't act like you care when you don't" I scoffed and looked away.

"who said I don't care?" I looked at him and his eyes held sincerity this time, but I was mad enough to ignore it.

"should've cared before acting like that" I looked away from him "please drive back I'm already tired" I said being as calm as I could.

"I'm not driving until you stop being mad at me" 

"Are you-?" I stopped in middle and tried to keep my calm, if he's stubborn I'm even stubborner 

I waited patiently for 5 minutes but he did nothing except staring at me. I picked my phone and booked at cab by SMS sending my address. 

I opened the door and walked out, he immediately got out after me and stood next to me.

"who are you waiting for?" I did not say anything and stood quietly. After a minute he again spoke making me annoyed "get in the car" I passed him a glare before looking away. 

The cab was in sight now and he was pissed off "did you call a cab to go home?" he held my arm and pulled me towards him "what do you think you're doing?"

"you didn't want to drive back so I called a cab what's wrong?" He closed his eyes and sighed before looking at me again.
