It was a couple days later, and Julian and I have been researching. And we still have nothing.
But on the brighter side, Grayson and I have been hanging out more and we might kissed a few times.
"Earth to Brooklyn!" Isabella said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I blinked a couple of times before saying,"Sorry, what?"
"I was asking you if you're going to Aidan's party tomorrow night?" Isabelle asked, twirling a piece of hair around her finger.
I nodded,"Yeah. Sounds fun."
"Good. We'll pick you up," Zoey said, making me shake my head.
"No," I said, making everybody look at me. "I mean, I have errands to run before the party so I'll just meet you guys there."
Allison nodded,"Okay."
Everybody went into another conversation. Grayson was sitting beside me, and he picked up a small fry before throwing it at me. I looked at him to see him smiling.
"Buddy, believe me, you don't want to start a food fight with me," I warned him, making him laugh.
"I'll take my chances," Grayson replied with a smirk playing at his lips.
Then Julian joined us at the table with a firm face.
"Where have you been, Jules?" Isabelle asked him, opening her water bottle.
"Um, I had to run an errand for the home ed teacher," Julian said, tapping his finger on the table.
"Oh, well, we were just talking about the party tomorrow night," Zoey said, making him nod.
For the rest of the lunch period, we talked about some tv show. When the bell rang, Julian stuffed something in my hand as I walked past him.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion until I opened my hand to see a napkin with writing on it.

We have a huge problem, but I found something huge. Meet at your house after school. -Jules
"What's that?" Grayson asked behind me.
I closed my hand, quickly, and I turned around with a smile on my face.
"Nothing. Just trash," I lied as I threw it away in the trash bin.
"Humph. Come on, we don't want to be late for class, now do we?" Grayson asked, and I nodded.
We walked to our next class, and the teacher started the lesson. My mind was too clouded to be paying attention with Julian's note.
What did he find out?

"Why don't you want me to drive you home? Do you live in a cave with bats or something?" Grayson asked me as we walked out to the parking lot.
I shook my head,"No. It's just that my aunt is...very strict when it comes to boys."
"What do think her reaction will be when she finds out we're dating?" Grayson asked, making me stop dead in my tracks.
"Woah, woah, woah. We're dating? How did it become that?" I asked him, stun that we are that far into our relationship.
"What else would you call it? We have been hanging out a lot, and we have kissed many times," Grayson said, a little bit upset.
"It's just crazy that we're this far into our relationship is all. I never expected that I would have a mat-," I started to say, but I caught myself."Boyfriend."
I gave Grayson a hesitant smile as he looked at me, suspiciously. He cleared his throat as we made it to his car.
"You sure that you don't want me to drive you home?" Grayson asked me for the fifth time.
I nodded as I put a strand of my hair behind my ear,"I'm sure."

"Alright then. I'll see you tomorrow," Grayson said before kissing my cheek, sending sparks throughout my body.
"See you tomorrow, Gray," I replied as he got into his car.
He drove off, and I walked out of the school's parking lot. I walked to my house where I saw Julian's car parked beside my mailbox. I quickly walked inside of my house where I saw Julian sitting on the couch, tapping his foot.
"What did you find?" I asked him, making him stand up.
"When I was walking back from the library, I heard Aidan on the phone with somebody. Brooklyn, they were talking about you. Aidan knows that you're a hybrid," Julian rushed out, running a hand through his hair.
"How does he know? He's human. This doesn't make any sense," I said, shaking my head.
"That's not all. At the library, I found the prophecy Melissa was referring to," Julian added, biting his lip.
"What is it?"
"It's nothing good. When the first tribid walks the earth, the supernatural world and the human world will crumble," Julian recited as I just stood there in a daze.
"But why would that concern me? Why would Melissa be worried about it coming true? Tribids are a myth, right?"
Julian shrugged,"Brooklyn, I don't know if you want me to be honest. All I know is that we have to solve the Aidan problem first before anything so nobody will get hurt. I really think you should tell Grayson now."
"No. It'll put him in danger, and I don't want my vision to be right," I said, making Julian nod in agreement.
"Tomorrow night we need to find out who Aidan is working for then go from there," Julian suggested, sitting back down.
"I agree. Has Alpha Alec made any more moves against the hybrid?" I asked Julian, sitting down next to him.
"No. Nobody can track it nor have the seen it. Melissa has done a great job hiding you."
"She hiding something from me, though. Something huge," I said, rubbing my temple.
"Look, I haven't known you for a while, but I know that Melissa would hide something from you to protect you not to hurt you."
I nodded,"I know, but it's gets annoying that she knows something that my parents told her and she won't tell me."
"Isn't that what you're doing to Grayson?"
I shook my head,"Grayson is different. He's doesn't know that I know he's a werewolf. I'm keeping my secret to protect him and the pack."
"Are you sure that's it?" Julian asked me, making me raise an eyebrow.
"What's that suppose to mean?"
Julian licked his lips,"If you think that Grayson is going to reject you then you're crazy."
"W-What? No. I-I'm not scared t-that he'll r-reject me," I stuttered, shyly. A wave of pain went through my heart just thinking about Grayson rejecting me.
"Okay as long as you say so. Now I have to go, but be ready tomorrow night. I feel like we might have to fight," Julian warned me.
I nodded,"I'll be ready."
We said our goodbyes before Julian walked out of the door. As I sat there on the couch, I thought to myself.
Was I scared that Grayson would reject me?
No...maybe...yes.
I just hope that I'll get rid of whatever threat there is so I can be with him.
