《His Hybrid Mate | COMPLETED》18.

Everybody stayed silent for at least five minutes, not knowing what to say. Grayson and Caleb shifted back into their human form, and Tyler gave them each a pair of shorts.
Melissa and I were standing together, trying to figure out what to say.
"Grayson–..." I started but he cut me off.
"What are you?" Grayson asked me with a hurt look in his face.
"I'm a hybrid. My mother was Alyssa Jones, daughter of Alpha Jason Jones, and my father was a vampire," I explained, softly.
"And you didn't think to let us know that you are a hybrid?" Allison asked, hurt.
"I was trying to protect you all. I moved here to escape from rogues who were trying to kill me. I didn't tell you guys because I was scared that you will get hurt."
"Is that why you were going to leave town?" Grayson asked, bitterly.
"I was leaving town because Carson. He is my half brother, and he wants me dead. I don't know why, but he does."
They all looked at each other as they talked through their mind links.
"Did you turn Caleb into a wolf?" Zoey asked me, calmly, as she tapped her finger on her leg.
I shook my head,"No."
"Did you kill that girl?" Allison asked, keeping her eyes on me.
"I think I did, but it wasn't my fault–" I started, and Allison cut me off.
"That girl had a family! Did you know she was pregnant?! How could you just kill her?!" Allison yelled at me, taking multiple steps towards me.
She was pregnant?
I took two lives. Neither of them will live to graduate highschool, get married, etc. I took that away from them. I took away their lives.
"Allison, it wasn't her fault," Julian said, walking between us.
Allison's eyes widen as she looked between me and Julian. Then it clicked in her mind.
"You knew?!" Isabelle asked Julian, standing beside Allison.

"Isabelle, it's not what think. When Caleb was in wolf form, he almost killed me. Brooklyn saved me, and in doing so, she got bite by him. She told me not to say anything, and she would explain herself. She did, and I helped her with her bite," Julian explained, frantically.
"I'm your mate! Why wouldn't you tell me?" Isabelle asked, trying to keep her voice at bay, but I could see her holding her tears back.
"I made him promise me. Please don't be mad at him. It's not his fault. I made him stay quiet, and for that, I'm sorry," I apologized, stepping in front of Julian.
"What exactly happen last night?" Grayson asked me. I could sense he was mad, but he was trying to cover it up.
"Adrian is a vampire. He works for Carson, and he used something to make me shift. I had no control over anything. He created a diversion for you guys so y'all wouldn't come looking for me for a few minutes," I explained, before adding,"I woke up in the woods this morning with blood all over me."
"Why didn't you come to us? We could have protected you," Grayson asked with a frown.
"I was scared the people that were after me were going to hurt you, all of you. I was trying to protect you guys."
"Believe me, you don't have to protect us. We can protect ourselves," Tyler said with his arms crossed over his chest.
"So Melissa is your aunt?" Zoey asked me, looking at Melissa.
Melissa answered her,"Well, god mother is the better term."
"I can't believe you were going to leave town," Grayson said as his voice cracked. "You were going to leave everybody, our pack, me."
"Grayson, it's not like that. I didn't want to leave, but I can't just stay here when there is something dangerous after me. That's how it will always be. There is always going to be somebody after me," I told him, truthfully.

Every since the night my parents died, I have been fighting off people who want to kill me.
Grayson was about to say something, but stopped when something ran past Zoey and swept her off her feet. Grayson put me behind him within a flash, and I looked around to see where the person went.
Tyler ran over to Zoey, making sure she is okay. Everybody got closer, looking around. It was quiet, too quiet for the woods.
Caleb was still in his wolf form, and he growled as he got into a fight in position. Then everything happened in slow motion.
Adrian ran out of the woods, and he grabbed Allison. He put his hand through her back, and I hear him tighten her heart with his hand. Allison started to gasp for air as she stood frozen.
Caleb was about to leap at Adrian when Grayson grabbed him, pulling him back some. He looked into Caleb's eyes, and I knew they were talking through the mind-link.
"Let her go," Grayson snarled as his eyes started to glow.
"Not so fast. I'll let her go without a scratch if you hand over Brooklyn. It's a fair trade, don't you think?" Adrian asked, looking at me with a smirk.
"You must be crazy if you think that's going to happen," Grayson replied, pushing me behind him even more.
"Okay then, your choice," Adrian said, and I could hear Allison's heart tearing apart.
Before he could get any further, I used my super speed to get to him. I grabbed Adrian by the back of the neck, and I threw him backwards. Allison fell to the ground, holding her chest.
Blood was dripping out of her mouth, but she was okay. I twirled around to face Adrian to see him standing before me.
My eyes widen as he grabbed me by the throat. I growled before grabbing his arm and twisting it. He screamed in pain, letting me go.
Then Grayson came up beside me, and he punched Adrian square in the jaw.
"I have been wanting to do that for a while now," Grayson joked as the group circled around Adrian.
"You guys have no idea what is coming. This girl who you think is your friend will bring the supernatural world crashing down just like the prophecy stated," Adrian said, glaring at me with pure hatred.
"Caleb," Grayson ordered, making Caleb growl.
Then Caleb lunged at Adrian, and Caleb killed him within a few seconds.
"We must get back to the pack house, and report all of this," Grayson said, looking around at the mess.
"Thank you, Brooklyn, for saving my life,"
Allison thanked me with a small smile.
"It's no problem. Now if you guys don't mind, I have a bus to catch," I said, eyeing my bags over by the bench.
"What? You're not leaving me. You are in danger, and I'm going to protect you," Grayson objected, wrapping an arm around my waist.
"You don't understand, Grayson. Everybody who has protected me has either died or came close to it. My parents died, my old pack was attacked, and Melissa almost died. I can't lose you, any of you," I told them as tears welled up in my eyes.
Grayson wiped a stray tear away, and sparks spread throughout my body from his touch.
"I'm sorry, but I can't let you leave when there is danger lurking around every corner," Grayson said before I felt something prick my neck.
I hissed in pain as he removed the needle, and my eyes widen. I was about to go off on him when my vision blurred and my whole body became heavy.
Within a few seconds, I went limp in his arms.

Absolute Power of the Imagination
(Hello this is a story that I'm making and is basically just my fantasy of what it would be like to be a human with god-like powers and the MC is going to have my personality so you are reading some of my desires.) Everyone has at least once thought what it would it would be like to be GOD but only so many people have actually thought about it deeply and this story is going to be through my thoughts as what it would be like to be a god-like being that was once human (because it would be no fun to read or write what it would be like to be GOD since there are no obstacles as the definition of GOD.) (I'm writing this because my new favorite novel "Michael Ammers: My OP leisure life" has been dropped or is on a really long hiatus.
