Sona's pov.

I was sitting in my desk. I wasn't feeling well today but if would have asked for a day off from Mr Shergill he would surely blame me that I'm making some lame excuses.

I was analysing some files on the laptop but I wasn't able to concentrate on my work. He has already given me the deadline to complete the work till 4 pm although he knows that these many file records can't be completed in such a short span of time. But I'm going to prove him wrong. And I'm trying my best for the same.

Brinda came to my cabin "it's lunch time Sona let's go."

" Brinda I won't be able to make it right now you go I'll have it later on i have been given deadline of 4pm."

I haven't told her that he has shifted my lunch time half an hour late.

"Its fine I'll wait for you then. "She said

No no you go I'll have it later on Akshat must be waiting you go otherwise you will be late for your lunch .

"Are you sure."

"Yeah "

"Ok catch you later bye Sona."

Then she exited.

It was 3:50 and my work was done . So I went to his cabin.

"Sir I have completed it. "

He was a little bit tensed working on his laptop and looking at me his expression changed and I wasn't able to read it.

"Okay "

"I want you to make a coffee for me right now."

"And the kitchen on this floor is renovating from today so you'll have to go down to 5th floor and bring it fast."

What does he think am I his servant.

But alas I didn't had any option.

I went out after nodding .

I waited for the staff lift but it wasn't working I'll have to go all the way down through stairs and even my head is feeling more heavy now. I went down made his black coffee and then went upstairs.

I kicked on his door and entered but my vision was getting blur.

I hurriedly kept the coffee on the table.

"What took you so much time."

"The staff lift was having problem so I took stairs." I said in a low voice words were not coming out of my mouth due to dizziness.

"Good for you ."

"You may leave now" he said without looking at me.

I went out and as I entered my cabin there was blackout in front of my eyes and the last thing I remember was my head hit somthing I fell unconscious.

Anirudh's pov

I was working on my important project. It was a collaboration with one of the MNC and to have an upper hand our management team was working hard.

I had given Sona also some work yeah i must say not some that that she won't be able to complete in few hours and I'll get a chance to take out my anger and frustration on her.

She deserves it Ani.

She ce inside and it was 3:50 and she told she has completed the work

Incredible can't believe I'll have to check it myself.

Her face wasn't looking ok did something happened leave it Ani if she would have been flirting with some other men she would have been glowing like a star right now. But right now she is in front of you . How can she smile when she is least interested in her husband.

I wanted something to relax and her coffee was the only thing that relieved me. I must say she makes so good coffee that I'm addicted to its taste.

It's not like that she can read my mind and listen to her appraisal.

"Okay "

She made an irritating face. I enjoy it when she gets irritated angery but not able to say anything.

She nodded and went out.

Why has she not arrived yet.

And the door opened.

She kept the coffee mug on my table.

"What took you so much time. I asked he while working on my laptop."

"The staff lift was having problem so I took stairs. "She said

"Good for you ".

"You may leave now "I said without looking at her

Now my entire work was done and after that I decided to checkout her work.

I was really surprised to see there wasn't a single mistake in her work. She was perfect at her job.

I wish she would have been a perfect wife too.

I took my laptop check what she was doing And opened the camera of her cabin she wasn't there.

I took out my cell and called her but she wasn't picking up the call. I searched for her in every cctv camera she wasn't there and last she has entered in her cabin. Might be in the washroom .

But there was something wrong that I was feeling. So I went by myself to check in her cabin.

As I opened the door the sight in front of me made me numb.

There she was lying uncouncious. Blood was oozing out from a cut on the side of her forehead.

I heart sank at the sight of her

I went to her hurriedly and took her in my arms.

"Sona Sona wake up ... I tapped on her cheeks ."

I sprinkled some water in her face.

But she wasn't opening her eyes she wasn't waking up. I checked her pulse they were there but slow.

I called the doctor.

I picked her up in bridal style and took her to my office. She was looking so lean and weightless like a feather.

After that I kept her in the sofa and started rubbing her hands and feet they were so cold.

Till then the doctor too arrived.

He was checking her and while he was examining her my heart was beating so fast .

What might would have happened to her.

I was cursing myself why did was I saw much rude and cruel to her. At this moment I just wanted her to be fine.

Doctor came to me.

"Is she fine doctor. What has happened to her."

"Mr Shergill she is fine now. Her sugar level had dropped to a very low point. That is the reason that she had fainted.

I have given her a dose of injection

And she hasn't eaten anything since 24 hours. And she is having alot of weakness too.

She is your employee right ask her family to take proper care of her and I'm writing some prescriptions for now.

"She fill be fine after some rest.

And about her head cut she might would have hit her head when she fainted I have bandaged it. "

"Thankyou so much doctor."

"Other things I'll tell you only after her blood test reports."

"Okay doctor."

After he left I went to her. I tugged behind he ear few strands of her hairs traced her cut through the bandage. She right now was looking so peaceful.

She hadn't eaten for 24 hours that means she hadn't had anything yesterday night

But what about morning. Doesn't she take the breakfast I'll have to ask Mrs Rose.

And you moron because of you she wasn't able to have lunch.

Shit

I picked her up and went out from the back door after calling my driver .

I kept her head on my lap and was continuously looking at her.

I was so restless with her eyes closed .

We came to our place

I went inside.

Mrs Rose came.

"What happened to Sona "

"She fainted Mrs rose"

"Ho..w how is she now "

"She is fine now doctor has examined her. Don't worry Mrs rose."

"Just prepare something light and healthy for her"

She nodded

"One more thing Mrs rose why she hasn't eaten anything in the breakfast today Mrs rose "

"Actually sir she since 1 month she told me that she takes her breakfast in the company because she has to leave early that's why. "

"Ok "

"I'm sorry sir I didn't had any idea she hasn't eaten anything in the breakfast She is such an innocent soul "

" It's not your fault Mrs rose "

She smiled weakly at me

"Sir your parents are coming here in the morning they asked us to inform you"

"Okay"

And then she went to the kitchen

I went upstairs and took her to her room. And made her lay on the bed and sat beside her I was looking continuously at her.

After half an hour she did some movement and tried opening her eyelids.

And I met her eyes and she was looking weak and in pain.

She was trying to get up. Why she has to be so clumsy.

I kept my hand around her shoulder and one on her elbow ans she hissed in pain

"What happened."

"Nothing."

Then I helped her to sit.

"How are you feeling."

"Fine." She said looking down.

"Why didn't you had your dinner yesterday" I wasn't hungary.

"And breakfast "

"I never have it" she wasn't looking at me .

And about lunch I didn't had to ask it was because of me only that she hadn't eaten it. Sarcastically it was all because of me that she was skipping her meals.

I was feeling guilty.

I shake my head negatively and moved my both hands to both her cheeks and brought her face closer.

"How many times I have told you to look at me while talking to me " I said

"Sorry "that's all she said.

What shall I do with her.

"I need to change "she started getting down .

"Wait I'll help you in taking you to the washroom ."

"I'm fine I can go "

'I know that how much fine you are so don't tell me."

I took her first to her wardrobe. She picked her clothes and then to the washroom and waited for her outside the door.

She came out covering herself entirely from head to toe. With trousers and full tshirt.

I know that is because of me.

She has washed her face and her hairs were open. How can someone look so attractive with so much simplicity and no makeover.

And then again I picked her up to the bed.

I called Mrs rose to bring the food. She Brought it and then left after keeping it.

she had made pulao and vermicelli.

I took the plate. And started to feed her.

She was trying to take the spoon from me.

"Just eat it."

And again trying to feed her but she said in between

" I can eat on my own Mr Shergill."

"I know that's why you have fainted."

"It's not like you are going to feed me daily "she said meekly

She has a tounge to speak back.

Ofcourse she is so talkative with others.

Its just you Ani in front of whom she is nervous. Somewhere I wanted her to be the same like she is with others. My inner mind said

But I removed all these thoughts.

"You want me to "I said raising my eyebrows trying to tease her.

Then she realised what she said.

"I didn't mean that "she said nervously

"Just eat quietly otherwise I have other way too."

That is when she started eating without any argument.

"I'm done" she said when she hadn't even finished half of it.

"Just have it don't force me to make you eat forcefully. This is the reason why you fainted. ."

"But I don't want to eat any more"

I brought my face closer to her

"What are you do...."

And I put the spoon in her mouth.

After making her eat with so much difficulty I made her eat the bowl of vermicelli too.

But for the first time I got to know that she behaves like a child too.

I had to make he eat like a small baby.

Then I gave her the medicines to which thankfully she didn't argued and eat them in one go.

Suddenly my cell mobile beeped.

I read the message.

We know you are so busy beta not picking up your parents call Ani. By the way your papa and I are coming tomorrow morning there. Mrs rose would have informed you too . It was Moms message mocking me.

"Mom dad are coming tomorrow here in the morning. Don't worry they both are unexpected."

I told her and she looked at me with wide eyes and then she was a bit tensed and worried

"Don't tell them that I fainted she said sadly."

"Why what will I get if I lie to them."

"What do you want." She said looking down.

I brought my face close to her

She closed her eyes tightly

In this room full of silence I could hear her heartbeats.

I don't know what happened to me but I brought my lips close to her forehead and kissed her there.

"Go to sleep Mrs Shergill."

I was just sitting next to her and due to the doses she drifted to sleep soon.

I sat there for 1 hour next to her.

After that I got up have to do slots of changes and arrangements for tomorrow.
