Samaira applied her nude pink lipstick, and mascara on her lashes standing in front of her dresser. She combed her long hair and tied them into a ponytail, she was wearing a floral dress, little more than her knees and matched her attire with white flats.
She was putting her stuff in her bag when Abhimaan came out of the washroom in his pants only while whipping his upper body with the towel. Both were getting ready for their respective works.
She took some breath seeing this Greek God in front of her, so close in the same room. This is complete torture.
He throws the wet towel on the couch and took his shirt which was already on the bed. He didn't surprise because it's her daily ritual now. She likes to do these small things for him, and he likes her small gestures so much.
He was going to button up his white shirt when his gaze falls on her throw the mirror, she was looking at him. Soon, she widens her orbs a little and looked away, tugging some loose hairs behind her ear.
He smirked when his evil mind gets an idea. He stopped buttoning his shirt and turned to her. She looked at the wet towel and shook her head. She took steps to keep it up but he came in front of her blocking her way. She looked at him.
"I'm getting late, Can you please help me with my buttons??" He said with a teasing smile on his lips.
"You are not getting late, Abhimaan. Stop teasing me." She replied, knowing his mischievous behaviour. He loves to trouble her, like a child.
And he calls me baby....when he himself a baby.
A naughty one.
"Why would I tease you, is there any reason to tease you??" He asked making an innocent face. She steps ahead to go but he stopped her again.
"What kind of wife you are, Samaira?? Your husband needs you, help him." He said holding her arm, pulling her close to him. She looked down to his naked chest, her fingers were itching to touch him but her heart was stopping her.
"I like the shade of your lipstick, So badly I want to ruin it." He whispered in her ear, kissing her there.
She felt goosebumps when he pressed their frames together, she can feel him lowering her face to her and she knows what he was going to do. But today she will not lose this easily. She put her palm over his mouth, taking steps back. He frowned at her.
"No, Mr Rajvansh...don't forget you are getting late." She said. He removed her palm, he gets a more charged hearing his name from her. This used to be formal for him, but from her mouth, it sounds sexy. Well, for him...everything about her is hot and sexy.
"I'll manage, Mrs Rajvansh. Remember I'm the boss." He matched her words. She smiled at his words. She also likes this.
"Exactly, Boss should be always on time. You should be an example for your employees." She said playfully. He was surprised by her. Indeed she was learning everything from him. His teasing way, his playful remarks also counts on this.
God!! How much he is living all this.
He was admiring her when she pushed him and run away from his clutch. He could hear her giggling, he chuckles rubbing the back of her neck. He starts getting ready after his one failed attempt.
They left for their destinations after having their sweet kitchen romance because he can't leave her easily. Mrs Annie was aware of his nature, So She always sneaked out leaving them alone. In heart, she always admired them.

She was in the middle of her way when her phone buzzed and flashed his name. She got why is calling her, he has just left it in his car. She didn't let him come to drop her because he needs to reach on time also.
"Abhimaan, "
"Samaira"
Both said in unison then laughed.
"I forgot to ask you something." He said over the call.
"What?" She asked.
"Why didn't you keep your hairs open today," he asked like the most important question in the world. She opened her mouth to reply but nothing come out. What should be she said?
"Abhimaan!!!" She looked away out of the window, she heard him laughing on the other side.
"Okay, now get back to our work. See you soon." He said cutting the call. She smiled, leaning back to the seat.
Her cell again buzzed, she thought it's him again but this time it's some unknown number. She picked it up.
"Hello, Samaira.." She heard a restless voice. She couldn't exactly recognise it but she felt a sense of knowing it.
"Who's this??" She asked.
"It's Dhriti, Samaira....." She heard her cousin. She didn't say anything, why she is calling her. She got still.
"Samaira, Can you please come to Lifeline Hospital. It's an emergency." Dhriti said blinking away her tears.
"Hospital.....what happens? Is uncle fine??" Samaira asked immediately about him. Because he was the only person for whom she was still concerned.
"No...He...he got a heart attack. He is in ICU. Please come fast." Saying this she disconnected the call, as she couldn't hold herself more. Seeing her father lying on the floor in the morning, then taking him to the hospital was not in her strength. Still, she is trying to hold herself from her mother who was weeping continuously.
Samaira heart scared with the thought of her uncle being in the hospital. Her eyes brimmed with tears, and she asked the driver to turn to the hospital fast.
She reached the hospital and asked for him from the receptionist. She got his room number and runs towards it. She found Damini and Dhriti were sitting there, quietly.
Seeing her there, Dhriti got up first. She was very worried about him. He was the only one who always cared about her, all her life. She has nothing to do with this that he got a little selfish in the end or not.
"How's he?? What is the Doctor's said?" Samaira asked her, restlessly.
"He is in the ICU. He needs to get operate on soon but.." Dhriti informed her and lowers her head.
"But....what.. We should not delay this??" Samaira said. Before Dhriti could say, her Aunt came in between.
"We don't have enough money for the operation. We have nothing...You first go to the reception and pay the required money fast." Damini said to her.
"Okay....how much??" Samaira asked because right now his treatment was most important.
"2 lakhs," damini said normally. Samaira got shocked hearing this. It's not like she doesn't have enough money. Abhimaan had given her his and her personal cards also.
"2 lakhs....its. it's too much, I don't have this much amount." She replied. It's his money, she just can't throw them without asking him. She knows, he never questions her but still, it's her morals.
"How could you say this??? Your husband is a billionaire, don't show like you don't have money." She said in her angry voice.

"You have money for yourself, but not for them who raised you all your life. And don't forget all this luxury is because of me. I gave you this life." Damini yelled at her. Samaira looked down, she felt forming a lump in her throat.
Just then a nurse came and asked about the payment.
"Will you go now or you want my husband to die??" She screamed at her again, holding her arm tightly, making her flinch by her venom full tone. Dhriti wanted to stop her mother but she didn't say anything because this is the only solution to their problem. They don't have enough money to save her father.
Samaira nodded and left to pay the bills. She reached the reception area and paid the amount. Then, she came back to them. After that, Damini didn't say anything, what she wanted that has done. Now, doesn't need her, at least not for now. Dhriti talked to her a little. No one was in this condition to talk, they were just praying for the person inside.
After some hours, Samaira came with 2 cups of coffee and gave them. It was 6 in the evening when the Doctors informed them the operation was successful and they will shift him to the other room soon.
"Thank you Samaira for your help. You saved him today. Right, Mom??" Dhriti said to her. Her words were genuine,
"What special in this??"
It's her duty, We always did everything for her. Now, it's her chance to repay our favour. She should feel lucky to be able to return our favour." Damini said and left. Her face has no happiness or sense of appreciation like always.
Samaira kept on looking at her, just like that. She can never make her happy. Whatever she would do, she will always be like this and her hate for her.
Dhriti looked at her feeling guilty and with sympathy. Samaira couldn't take it anymore, she wanted to leave.
"I...i should be going now, Call me if you need anything." Still, she couldn't forget
her responsibility. She left.
She whipped her tears in between. There is no gain for crying for her. She just prayed for her uncle's recovery and health in her mind.
She reached her home around 7:30, she didn't go to college today. She had Ritika's massage, she replied to her saying she has some work. But she has her husband to deal with. She was afraid in mind while telling him.
She still remembers how his grandfather strictly said not to meet her family or to do any contacts. Abhimaan is very fond of him, he won't like that she disrespected him or disobeyed his orders.
Or there is another way, she may not tell him anything. Then, he won't come to know and nothing will happen. But her heart never allows this.
With so many thoughts in her mind, she reached her home and directly went to her room. She sat on the bed, engrossed in her thoughts. She saw him entering after 15 minutes. She got up.
"You came, ??" She said, in her low voice.
"Yeah..." He replied. She put his stuff in the cupboard, as usual, didn't talk much. He finds this unusual but shrugged off thinking she must be tired with her studies and classes.
After dinner, she lay down on the bed. He was in his study doing his work, he shut off his laptop when he got an important call from his PA. He walked inside their room still talking, she has slept turning her back to him.
"Okay, keep my tickets ready, and other documents also." He said and put his mobile on the nightstand. His PA just informed him about an important Conference which he and Sagar both need to attend. He will be out for 2 days, he looked at Samaira to inform her but she has already slept or maybe he thinks that.
She heard everything. She opened her eyes, her heart sunk with the thought that he is going. It's his work, he needs to travel, but today she was not feeling good. She was feeling alone. Why he has to go?
Soon, he heard some muffled sound. He opened his eyes immediately. He looked at her back.
"Samaira..." He called her.
"Hmm.." She replied. He immediately understood she is crying. He got up and sat straight while lighting the nightstand. She closed her eyes more tightly feeling the lights on.
"Open your eyes...why are you crying??" He asked her, but she didn't say anything. He made her sat, palmed her cheeks when she placed her head on his chest. She doesn't know that he was dying every moment of seeing her tears.
"Don't go, Abhimaan. I feel alone." She said with some tears in her eyes. Already she was feeling upset the whole day, now the news of him going made the situation worse. She has already known about this, he told her last week. She was normal back then but now.
"But it's just for 2 days, I told you. I'll come back soon." He said whipping her tears with his thumb. He gave her a glass of water and rubbed her back, kissed her eyes. She got a little relaxed.
"Now tell me what you are hiding?" His words shocked her. How did he know?
"Don't look at me like this, I know something is bothering you and it's not about my trip." He asked her knowing her very well. She is a very understanding and mature person, she respects his work's importance.
"I...went to..hospital..today.." She blurted out finally. She couldn't hide this from him. She will make him understand or tolerate his anger also but she needs to tell him this.
"Hospital, ....why....you okay??" He checked her carefully. She seems to be fine to him but still, he got worried.
"I'm fine, ...Its...my...Uncle....he was admitted. So, I went there to meet him, .." She replied looking down. He was waiting for her to continue.
"So...Is he fine? Or anything serious??" He asked her.
"Now, he is fine...." She replied.
"That's good, then why are you still tensed.?" He asked her.
"Abhimaan, I'm sorry. But I couldn't stop myself from going there." She said holding his hand in her. He looked at her in confusion.
"Why are you apologizing, when did stop you from going anywhere.?" He said still not understanding her words. He did not like her meeting them because they are not good for her but still he can't force her.
"You didn't stop me but Your Dadaji did. He clearly ordered me, not to meet them ever." She informed him. Then the realization hits him, he felt his Dadu can do this. He is a very strict kind of person. After what her family did, obviously, he will never stay quiet.
Samaira's heartbeat got faster by seeing him quiet. He is definitely angry.
"Please, don't be angry...Abhimaan. He is very important to me, he needs me at that time. " she said to him.
"I'm not angry, Samaira but if Dadu said something then, it's for good. He is a very smart man, he must have said this knowing their true colour and you are very naive, Samaira. You don't understand the reality of this kind of person." He said in a very calm tone. She is understanding his each and every word.
"But, he is in hospital." She replied looking down. He hugged her, she is very innocent. She thinks everyone is like her, he needs to keep her safe away from them.
"Yeah, meet him but not after this. They made you cry and I can't see this." He said to her. She nodded. She also has no extra wishes, she will just meet him once. She is glad that he is not angry at her.
"Abhimaan, come soon." She said after some time when he made her lay down. He kissed her forehead giving her an assuring smile.
The next day she did his packing and he left in the early morning. She left to meet her uncle once. She stepped out of her car and walked inside, unaware that someone was following her the whole time and noticing her every step.
That person mentally smirked clicking a picture of her entering the hospital.
"You will a great payback, Abhimaan Rajvansh."
