"I am not talking to you anymore." Mitchell screamed as he entered the mansion. To say it better, he was stomping through the entrance yelling like a kid. His hands balled in fists and his brows frowned and knotted. His high angry tone owned the attention of every maid and also his mother and Axel.

All necks turned to study the situation in hand. Mitchell seemed angry and Sophia was running behind him asking for forgiveness. It was already nine at night and both were back rapidly from the club. They left two hours ago seeming as friendly and close as ever. So what happened to those to exactly?

"Mitchy please stop it. I didn't mean to." Sophia begged trying to calm her best friend. What happened was not planned and she was just being herself. Her goody two shoes took over and that resulted in an angry Mitchell.

"You sucked at being a fake girlfriend too?" The harsh voice that taunted her echoed making her shiver. She felt hurt again and her heart broke a bit. How can he be this harsh and cold . What is he implying too? That she sucks at being a wife? Well she didn't even get the chance to be one. She was nothing but a mere shadow to him. Axel felt lost but his anger was still bubbling and just like his brother he wanted to blame it all on Sophia. Even though he knew that he was responsible for her reactions. He made her see him in such a light. He didn't care for her enough. But she should have forgave him. Holding grudges does not help at all, right?

"Don't talk to her like that." Mitchell defended as he continued to go upstairs. Sophia smile brightly at him. Yes, Mitchell might get angry but he will always have her back.

"Don't assume that you are forgiven." Mitchell told her and she huffed in annoyance. He can be such a baby.

"What happened?" Olivia finally spoke ushering Sophia to the living room. She knew that her son adored , or maybe sons by now adore Sophia but only one is usually fighting with her and that's Axel.

"Well..." Sophia started to tell. Even though he wanted to stay and hear every word and explication she is giving, he had other plans. He as Sophia said was texting Liza again and the latter made him smile again? While gem kept on playing with his nerves Liza reminded him of their past adventures making him give a goofy smile. The smile that Sophia saw and put one to two discovering that Liza is still as present in his life as her or even more. He was just testing the waters with Liza. She kept on texting him and at last he gave into her words. Like the last time, talking to Liza was not a form of cheating for him. This time he is even keeping a distance. Yet when gem ordered him to go back to his old girlfriend, his anger made him call her and ask for a meeting, or is it a date?

"I am going out." Axel said and started walking to the door. A voice inside him didn't want him to announce that he is seeing Liza again. That voice didn't want to see that pained look that Sophia had when he threatened her to go back to his old love again. But is he to blame when he does not love Sophia ?

"Where are you going?" Olivia asked but Sophia had a good guess and that made her hide her now wet eyes. She knew exactly where Axel was going. She was stupid! She is still is because she fell for him.

"A date." Axel announced simply while his eyes froze on Sophia. He couldn't see her features well. Like usual that short ebony hair of hers acted like curtains shadowing her face. His hands itched to move it away, put it behind her ear. His heart crazed in beats and wanted to go hug her?

"Axel Elliot Williams." Olivia threatened as her hand reached for that of Sophia holding it tightly. He son clearly wanted to hurt Sophia's feelings. Before she wouldn't have cared but now the mother in her appreciated and loved Sophia just as much as she did for her sons.

"I got a life to live." Axel mocked referring to Sophia's word and his figure retreated further away and out of sight. His conscious blamed him. His heart wanted nothing more but to comfort his gem. But why would he? She does not deserve his care when she does not listen to him. Dear god she took in notice Aiden's words but ignored his. She must be punished he decided ignoring his feelings of guilt.

"I am so sorry Sophia. I thought that he started to like you." Olivia apologized for the silent girl who sat beside her.

"He is all hers." Sophia commented as a lonely tear fell on her cheek drawing its way rapidly

"He is not. It is just that she has a firm grip on him. She used him but he was too blinded by her external beauty. I know what love is, Sophia and the feelings that Liza has for my son are not love. She likes his looks and power. She even eyes Mitchell when they meet. She is wrong for him. He will discover that hopefully when it is not too late" Olivia argued yet her promises seemed void to Sophia. In her eyes Axel loved just one woman and that is his precious Liza.

"Mitchy is angry because I befriended Blessing." Sophia spoke changing the topic. Her heart couldn't take it anymore and any other word about Liza or Axel could make her just burst into tears.

"Why is that?" Olivia asked with a surprised tone. What weird boys she got for sons!

"He wanted to prove to her that they are casual. He thought she was getting to clingy. Knowing that she is going out with a couple of friends, he dragged me with him and begged me to play the role of his fake girlfriend. I accepted because he is my best friend and he wouldn't stop nagging. We dressed a bit matchy and all. Then when bless came to view she was already in the hands of another man. Mitchell's temper started. He asked me to dance. I believe that he was trying to get her attention. Yet before even reaching the dance floor Bless spotted us. She rushed to us and started talking to Mitchell. She introduced her date then and waited for Mitchell to introduce me. After all the formalities, Bless commented on my dress. I did the same. Then a song that we both knew started playing so she started singing and I followed. Well all I can say is that I have a new best friend and that Mitchell and that Ben guy weren't interested in any of topic of our conversations." Sophia amused seeing a smile draw on Olivia's face

"I told you that Bless will be the death of Mitchell. Poor boy his plans crushed." Olivia joked laughing at the earlier reaction of Mitchell

"She is the perfect fit for him." Sophia promised with a grin

"As you are Axel's." Olivia informed in a motherly tone

"Liza is." Sophia corrected sensing that old now familiar pain take over her heart

"Why am I living only with people as stubborn as mules?" Olivia said sounding so dramatic

"Hey, I am here you know?" Sophia blamed crossing her hands

"Then change your ways." Olivia ordered and stood walking away

"Bless is coming here tomorrow. We are going out." Sophia yelled informing

"Okay" Olivia accorded and at the same time a loud grumble from upstairs filled the calm atmosphere

"Stop reminding me will you?" Mitchy yelled from above making his mother and Sophia laugh at him.

"Dinner was served earlier Sophia but if you are hungry there are different choices in the fridge. Call a maid if you want and she will get everything ready for you." Olivia said while she walked to her own room

"I am not." Sophia promised but then remembered the empty bed that was waiting for her. Will she be able to sleep without Axel or will his absence torment her? Hating such questions, she dragged her feet and climbed the stairs while an image of Axel kissing Liza broke her heart shattering it to mere dust.
