"What. . . the ever living fuck. . . is that?" You asked Izuku incredulously. He laughed next to you as he watched you gaze at Bakugou with pure disgust from the U.A. front gates. "What is he doing here?"
"He could be going for a normal education. Who knows, he might not be learning to become a hero," Izuku said optimistically, but you could still sense the anxious aura around him. Wrapping an arm around his shoulder, you looked at him and said, "Hey, you got this. Even if Bakuhoe decides to join the same course, we still have each other."
Izuku smiled back at you brightly, replying to his best friend of eleven years, "Yeah, of course we do."
As you guys walked towards the building, you started up another conversation. "Isn't it so funny that your quirk decided to come hella late? Maybe it was like a puberty thing with you."
Izuku laughed awkwardly, and you assumed that it was because of the sudden mention of puberty. "Yeah, I guess it was."
You looked at him intensely, analysing him, and he shifted under your gaze uncomfortably. "(Y/N)-chan, what are you doing?"
"You don't look like you've hit puberty," you said. He blushed as he looked at you strangely, barely stuttering a sentence, "Wha-What do you mean by that?!"
"Well," You said as you both entered the school building. "you still look like you did when you were five, except you've grown, and even then you're still a bit short."

He shoved your arm playfully, and you unattractively snorted as you ruffled his hair. "But maybe that's because I've known you for so long. You know how you see someone all the time and they don't seem to change at all to you?"
Izuku nodded his head, saying, "Yeah, that's the same thing with you. You haven't seemed to change one bit."
You gasped, looking at him suddenly, "Maybe you'll find your soulmate and be able to see the world in colour!"
You both laughed as you entered the building.

"Uuuhhhh. . . This door is massive." You said while staring up at it with Izuku, the both of you feeling very intimidated. "What kind of students go to this school?"
"Giants. . ." Izuku said before gulping nervously, his Adam's Apple bopping up and down. "I guess we should go in, huh?"
Just to mess with him, you replied with, "I don't want to."
Izuku looked at you, his agitation barely visible on his face, but still there. "(Y/N)-chan, no."
"(Y/N)-chan, yes."
"You're not doing it."
"On the contrary, I'll be doing it right this second."
You attempted to quickly walk away, but Izuku was quick to grab your arm. You frowned and looked down at his hand, poking his forearm gently. "You know, Izuku, those muscles are doing you good."
"I know," Izuku muttered, his annoyance becoming clearer as he dragged you to the door. "They're useful for an annoying (Y/N) who always wants to enter a room through a window."
You couldn't take him seriously. He was so small, yet so mad. His eyes were too big for his furrowing eyebrows, and he looked like an upset puppy that didn't get its treat for doing a trick. (Oddly specific, yes, but that's what you saw.) "You look cute when you're mad."

He blushed in embarrassment before dragging you into the classroom through the now open door, much to your dismay. "Izukuuuuuuuu." You whined, trudging along behind him as he half dragged you to a desk. He pushed you gently down onto the seat and sat at the desk next to you, turning to look at you sternly. "(Y/N)-chan, you need to learn to enter a room like a normal human being."
"But that's so boring."
Before he could reply, you both heard someone enter the room. "Fucking bullshit. Why am I put in the same class as a bunch of extras?"
You and Izuku's eyes widened as you looked at each other, realising that Bakugou was in fact in your class.
"Izuku. . ." You muttered in distress.
"(Y/N). . ." He replied in the same tone.
"YOU DIPSHITS."
"For fuck's sake," you mumbled to yourself before turning around to face an angry Bakugou coming your way, his usual expression of hatred aimed towards you and your best friend. "Yes, Bakubitch?"
He growled before coming face-to-face with you, and you could smell the ash off of him from the constant and unnecessary use of his quirk. "You know, I feel real bad for your soulmate, (Y/N). What were the words again?"
You glared at him as you subconsciously tugged on the sleeve of your school blazer, feeling the permanent writing on your forearm burn into your skin. You rolled your eyes before replying, "You know, Bakugou, you say my soulmate will hate me, but you know for sure that yours is going to hate your guts."
"O-Okay, guys, that's enough," Izuku laughed nervously, receiving a deathly glare from Bakugou. Bakugou brought up his hand in front of the poor boy's face, and you went into protective-best-friend mode.
Grabbing Bakuogu's wrist, you activated your quirk, metal surrounding where you were holding. Bakugou groaned in frustration as you let go of him, already knowing how your quirk worked. He was sent flying over to the nearest metal object, which just so happened to be at the front of the classroom.
Basically your quirk allows you to form any class of metal and use it to your advantage. You liked to use magnetic most of the time, though. The amount of time they're stuck for depends on what you want, but the maximum is two hours.
If your quirk is used continuously (e.g. a battle), then the amount of time one is stuck will decrease each time it is used. If you do run out, then you would need two full days of recovery, which just includes you not using your quirk at all.
You decided to be easy on Bakugou and leave him stuck against the teacher's podium for ten minutes, leaving him just enough time to get back to his seat before the teacher came.
You sighed as you sat back in your seat, and Midoriya looked at you gratefully before saying, "(Y/N)-chan, that really wasn't necessary, but thank you."
You smiled at him in return before reaching over and rustling his forest green curls and poking one of his cheeks four times, one for each of his freckles. He giggled as you did that, lightly swatting your hand away.
You chuckled at him before laying your head on your desk, mumbling, "It's only the first day, but this makes me want to sleep off the next three years of my life."
