《Moonlight ✔︎》Chapter 10

The day went by fast, and before I knew it, I was getting ready for Angel's 'fight' tonight.
Clearly, it was some sort of underground fighting ring or something.
I've seen enough movies to know about that.
I got dressed into simple light denim ripped jeans, pairing them with a black spaghetti strap cropped top.
I pull on my white converse and then make my way downstairs.
"I'm heading out." I yell once I made it downstairs.
"Be back before 12." Tyson yells back.
I don't reply as I shut the front door and walk down my porch steps.
Angel's car arrives just as I make it to the sidewalk.
I watch, as he gets out of the car and walks over to me.
I wave at him in greeting.
He opens the passenger door and I walk over getting in.
He closes it and goes around to his side.
He leans back in his seat and begins speeding down the street.
"Can I have your phone ?" I ask him.
He doesn't look at me or does he answer, he simply takes his phone out of his pocket and places it in my hands.
I smile, unlocking the phone and placing my number in his contacts.
I sent a message to myself so that I also had his number.
I handed him his phone and he easily placed it back into his pocket.
"I put my number in your phone." I mention.
He nods in response, I lean back in my seat and relax, watching the cars fly by as we speedily make our way towards the fight club.
"Do you like music ?" I ask him randomly.
He looks over at me emotionlessly as we stop at a red light.
He shrugs.
"Don't mind it." He says.
I grin happily and clap my hands.
"Great !" I say enthusiastically as I take my phone and plug it into his aux.
"You don't mind do you ?" I ask, being cautious.
He licks his lips and looks down at me.

"No." He answers.
I play shuffle on my playlist and turn the volume up.
I smile to myself and close my eyes as the music sinks into my ears.
The ride was longer than expected, but eventually we had made it.
Angel parked out the front of a lit up, broken down building.
He got out of his side and walked over to my own, opening the door and taking my hand as I got out.
He locked the car and lead me into the building.
I studied our surroundings as we walked through halls and eventually some stairs.
He opened a cream steel door and that was when I could hear all the commotion.
My eyes widened as I took in the huge area.
As my assumptions from earlier were right.
It was an underground fighting ring.
Women and Men were gathered around the place, sitting in seats, drinking at the bar or hanging around the ring.
There were women dressed in play bunny outfits, that were hanging around the ring's inner circle.
I followed Angel down the corridor that seemed to lead to the back of the building.
We walked through a door, which held rows of lockers.
Angel turned to me and nodded to the couch on the other side of the room.
"Sit." He demands coldly and I follow.
I sit down and cross my legs underneath me, as I watch him open one of the lockers and take out some things.
He starts taking his shirt off and I blush looking away.
"Do you fight a lot ?" I ask him, looking down at my hands.
His head turns to me as he shuts the locker and makes his way over.
"Occasionally." He answers, taking a seat next to me.
I watch him wrap a bandage around his fists.
My eyes then linger down to his arms.
They were muscular, each muscle unintentionally bulges as he moves his arm.
Tattoos ran up his arm stopping at the shoulder.
His chest was on full display, allowing me to see his toned abs and clear, tatted skin.

I felt my stomach bubble with butterflies at the sight.
This man could not possibly get any hotter than this.
"Take a picture." He says blankly, making me look up at him with wide eyes.
His eyes were cast down to his fists that were now fully wrapped up.
I ignore his comment and take his hand inspecting it.
"What does this do ?" I ask him curiously.
"Protection." He says, watching me intently with his eyes.
"Are you going to take your rings off ?" I ask motioning towards them.
He looks down at them and takes them off and then places them in my hands.
"Hold them for me ?" He asks me.
I smile and keep them in my hand for him.
He gets up and I follow his movements.
He leads us out near the ring.
There was a row of seats that weren't occupied, which was placed at the very bottom of the arena, right near the ring.
The whole row was reserved and from the corner of my eye, I see Drake, Elio and Lycian making their way over.
Lycian waves at me and I wave back, smiling at him.
Angel tugs on my hand bringing my attention back to him.
"Sit here." He says pointing to the middle seat.
I nod and sit down, Drake, Elio and Lycian reach us all taking seats beside me.
Elio sat on my left as Drake sat on my right, leaving Lycian to sit next to Drake on his other side.
"Good luck." I wish Angel giving him a thumbs up.
He smirks and winks at me before gracefully striding off.
I ignore the butterflies and slide his rings onto my fingers.
They were slightly large, but still fit.
I turned my head towards Elio to see him with a cold stoned face looking straight at the ring.
I then turn to Drake and see a similar expression on his face too.
My eyes glance at Lycian and he was the total opposite to them.
He was grinning widely and unshamefully winking at the girl bunnies.
I shook my head in amusement and turned to the front just as a bald, short man walks onto the ring.
"Hello Ladies and Gentleman." He anounces.
People cheer loudly, at the voice of the hostess.
"Tonight we will be having our Monday night fight."
"We have one of our best fighters, and one of Trailer Lakes best local fighter, both fighting together tonight."
"Please welcome, Kent Knight onto the stage."
The audience behind me screams in delight as a boy just about our age comes onto the stage.
He was quite a looker, but definitely nothing compared to Angel.
Since when are we comparing Angel's looks to others ?
Shush !
The boy had light brown hair and bright green eyes.
His frame was quite muscular and he was tall, standing at a good 6'2.
"And fighting against Kent Knight, we have our best of the best, Angel Romano."
The crowd then went absolutely wild.
I watched the girl bunnies shake there flags, there cleavage moving with them and I mentally laughed at that.
Angel came onto the ring, looking impossibly more attractive than ever.
He was in silky dark blue basketball shorts, his bare chest on full display, the dim lights had illuminated his face making him look downright intimidating.
His eyes were narrowed as he looked at his opponent, his hair fell in front of his forehead effortlessly.
His jaw was held tight and sharp, and I found myself nearly drooling.
"From three, the fight begins." The announcer says.
The boy held a certain confidence that seemed nearly arrogant. He cranked his neck up at Angel, and studied him.
Angel's height could clearly not beat anyone near him, and it made him even scarier.
He towered over the boy and looked at him coldly.
"1,"
"2'"
"3 !"
Then all hell broke loose.
