kristian's pov:

i stared at her bewildered at how sexy and beautiful she was looking , and god her voice , its like magic , other might not have recognized her , but to me it was obvious , even though she looked different , she looked more confident and more free, she looked really happy , and the way she tried to lure me in when she looked at me , made me feel more intrigued , i wanted to pull her aside and hide her from the eyes of every man that was looking at her

"wow" adam's voice snapped me out off my dream , and when i looked in front of me , she was gone , the stage was empty with just the DJ on it playing some loud music

" she was so hitting on you man" Adam said with a laugh , nudging me on my shoulder "but shit with all seriousness now , who the hell was that Jake? , this girl has some voice "

" i am pretty sure Kristian already knows who she is , but sorry man i can't tell you , it's not my secret to tell" Jake said with a smirk , making me glare at him , i can't believe that he knew something like this and didn't tell me , i can't believe the fact that scarlet worked for him for the last three years and i never saw her

" it's not her first time doing this , is it?" i asked Jake , right when scarlet made it to the stage again to sing her next song

"nope , she helped me out last year too , and she once told me it was her dream to be a singer and she is really good but sadly she never had the chance to make that dream a reality , So whenever i have a chance to get her to sing in public , i make sure to let her on the stage , so maybe one day she can have that chance " i felt Jake stare at me as he talked , i knew he was hinting to something , but i didn't want to open the subject by myself i was waiting for him to ask , i know my friends well if i suggest what he is planning they will never forget it until my last breath.

so i did the one thing that i do the best ,

"seriously man are you going to ignore me now!"

"i can't seem to understand what's going on here ! so somebody please explain" Adam said with a frustrated sigh

"okay you know what , i will ask ! dear CEO knight , don't you think that someone with such an amazing talent like Ava deserves a chance at one of your entertainment companies ?" i looked at Jake with a smirk while drinking my whisky , and god the look on his face was hilarious , if looks could kill i would be 6 feet under by now , after a couple of minutes i felt bad for the poor guy so i finally gave him my answer

"i will work on it "

"seriously dude , somebody explain !!!"

"for someone who is supposedly really smart , you catch on really slow dude " a voice from behind me came , indicating that Matteo is finally here "i never though scarlet was a singer , she is good"

"WHAT?? that's her ??" Adam stared at scarlet who was singing her last song for the night, i smiled at her again before i stood up

"where are you going?"

"home" ignoring all the voices that were coming from around me , i walked towards Jake's office with a smile on my face, i leaned on the wall in front's off Jake's office waiting for scarlet to come out , the moment the door opened i snapped my eyes towards the beauty that was standing in front of me but this time she was not wearing a mask to hide her identity , she was wearing the same clothes that i was wearing making me feel more smug and happy

for a reason i wanted everyone to see us like this wearing matching outfit with Noah by our side that way no one can touch her

and maybe just maybe , she can become mine , that's when a simple idea in my head toke place , a simple idea but a great one , and idea that can make me happy again

i am gonna make her mine ...

"hey... what are you doing here?"

the moment i opened the door i saw Kristian leaning on the wall while staring at me

"hey ... what are you doing here?"

"waiting for you" he said as he stood up and started walking towards me , with every step he took i felt my heart beat faster and louder , it was like an alarm cautioning me of the man in front of me , reminding me of the effects he has on me

"ho--how did you know??" i felt myself stutter as Kristian stood right in front of me with only an inch between us , making my breath rigid

"it was obvious " he said as slowly and gently pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear while tracing my cheek with his finger , making me close my eyes with how delightful it feels , i felt his hot breath close to my ear as he whispered

"i love your voice "

"tha--thanks" i had to pull myself together , i tried to snap myself out of this shell but i couldn't , feeling him this close felt nice , its like a every second away from him was torture but being close to him felt so right , i felt his lips touch my cheek causing sparks and heat to surrender the area he touched , i lifted my hands and putted them on his chest to try and push him away, but the key word here is try , after some time he finally took a step back while keeping one hand on my waist and the other tracing my cheek

"its is dangers game you were playing back there *la mia principessa, you should be happy that i am holding back " i felt my face blush as he reminded me of the way i was acting in the first song , but a party of me was happy that i might have the same effect on him as he have on me , i liked the rush that came when i flirted with him it was the first time i did something like this but for some reason i felt comfortable to do it

" we should go before someone comes back here" i said quietly , but the moment he stepped back i felt cold again , i saw him move forward to leave , so i started walking behind him all of a sudden i felt a hand hold mine and intertwine our fingers together

"you don't mind ? do you * gattino?"

i shock my head slowly with a blush on my face making Kristian chuckle and pull me closer to him, after we left the club we drove home with a comfortable silence , but that silence was destroyed the moment Kristian said his next words shocking the hell out of me
