scarlet's pov:

reaching the park , I held Noah's hand in mine and started walking towards the swings , behind me was Greg and Colin walking as they kept watching everything bedside us , even though I asked them to act normal so many times but they never listen to what i say , i ignored them and walked with Noah , as we reached the swings i saw some kids playing around and having fun , so i smiled at Noah and bent down to his level

"do you want to go play on the swings baby?" Noah nodded his head as he looked at the swings with stars in his big eyes

"should i go with you ? or can i wait on the bench like always "

"Noah will go alone , i am a big now" i smiled at him as he went running and behind him was Greg guarding him closely , i sat at the bench that was closest to him and kept staring at him and sometimes taking pictures as he played with some kids his age , a though hit me as i saw him play , maybe i should talk with kristian about sending him to a school , he looks happy with other kids , he should socialise with kids his age , that will help him in the future

While i was spacing out i felt my phone vibrate as i looked at it to see who was it , it turned out to be kristian telling me that he was going to an important meeting and that his phone will be off for a while , i sent and okay message and as i finished i heard Noah beside me calling for me

"Mommy, mommy , let's get ice cream , please "

"it's a bit chilly for an ice cream baby" his eyes turned sad and pouty as he stared at me , i let out a sigh as i gave up so soon

"well we will eat only a small one okay "

"Okay!" Noah jumped as he held my hand and started dragging me towards the ice cream truck , reaching the truck both me and Noah ordered a chocolate ice cream in a cone , i paid the owner and walked hand in hand with Noah in the side walk , with each step i took i could feel my head get more and more fuzzy as the throbbing pain in my chest got stronger , all of a sudden i stopped moving as everything started turning dark , dropping the ice cream on the floor , i felt Noah tugging on my hand

"Mommy , what's wrong?"

"Colin..." i whispered as i felt my body start to drop on the floor and the last thing i remember was Noah screaming as Colin held my limp body in his hands ...

Kristian's pov:

"The charity event is in a week , i need a full report on everything that is planned , this event needs to be perfect , do you hear me Director Brown ?"

"Of course CEO knight , everything is already going great i will make sure to finish it all in two days " i nodded my head at the woman in front of me , staring at the tablet to make sure everything is in place

" MR. Anson , you can start your report " mateo beside me said as i looked at the nervous man

"Uh, yes of course, actually i have nothing much to report since MD (management director) mateo took care of everything in Spain , I was just asked to remind you of the party that is gonna happen in two weeks , i have already translated all the contracts and sent them through mail to your assistant Sir.... " as Anson was talking all of a sudden my assistant walked in with his face pale as a sheet and in his hand was my office phone

" I told you not to accept any phone calls ..."

"Sir , it's Greg , the young master's ..." before he could finish i was already up to take the phone with my heart going a thousand beat a second , i saw mateo look at me with eyes full of worry as he walked towards me

"TALK!" I said as I heard Noah crying on the other side and Colin trying to calm him down

"Master, it's miss scarlet , she fainted all off a sudden we tried to wake her up but she wouldn't , we are taking her to the hospital right now " I felt my heart stop as my breathing irregulated as i imagined the worst case ever

"What's going on Kris?" mateo said as he pulled me out of my daydream or more like a nightmare, I took a deep breath as I calmed myself down and started walking out of the meeting room with the phone still on my ear

"take her to the family hospital I will be right there"

"okay master"

"give the phone to Noah " it took a second before i heard Noah's husky voice on it

"daddy...mommy..." I was already in the elevator with mateo beside me as I felt my heart break when i heard Noah's voice

"hey little man , listen to me , Mommy will be okay , but you need to calm down first , or mommy will be worried " I heard Noah sniffle on the other side as he calmed himself down a bit

"good job buddy, you just have to hold mommy's hand until we reach the doctor okay ! I will see you in a couple of minutes " after Noah finally calmed down I hanged the phone as I walked towards the car with mateo by my side and my assistant talking to the hospital to get everything ready for scarlet before they arrived , we reached the car and before I can start driving mateo took my keys from me

"I will drive " I nodded my head as i took the other seat beside him ...

as we were almost reaching the hospital , my nerves were already on edge i could feel my blood boil as all I can think of was scarlet and how losing her after having her in my life would be like

"she's gonna be alright man , calm down everything will be fine, she is probably just tired " I nodded my head and jumped out of the car as we reached the entrance of the hospital , at the entrance was already three men waiting for me , all three of them welcomed me in and walked beside me as i never stopped moving

"where is she ? what happened ? " I asked the head of the doctors

"she is in the knight's suit , CEO and the best doctors are already attending to her " Nodding my head I walked into the elevator , and started going up until the last floor , when the doors opened in the last floor , I saw Noah in Colin's hands and staring at the room's door with tears in his eyes , I called his name and when he saw me he came running towards me , bending down I hugged him as he cried his eyes out

"daddy...."

"it's okay little man everything will be okay "

"Kris , give me Noah and go check on scar " mateo said as he took Noah from my hand, i nodded my head and walked towards the room , as I walked in I saw a doctor checking on a chart with three nurses attending to the girl on the bed , slowly walking towards the bed , i saw scarlet sleeping there with a breathing mask on her face which was white as a paper , and in her hands there was a couple of wires connecting her to different machines , when the doctors and the nurses saw me they moved away giving me some space to stand beside the bed , and with every second i felt my heart break a bit more , looking at the doctor coldly I asked

"what's wrong with her ?, why isn't she up yet ? and why the hell did she faint ?" the doctor looked nervously at me

" CEO Knight , it looks like miss scarlet has been having a shortness of a breath and some chest pain , so we put her on oxygen machine so we can get her oxygen level in her blood back to normal , we still don't know the reason she has these symptoms , we will have to wait for the tests results to come out"

"chest pain ??" my face paled at her words

"yes and the bodyguards confirmed that she was complaining about discomfort in her chest when she passed out , but i don't believe that this pain is something new she must have been uncomfortable for a while now" I swallowed hard as I thought about her words

"when will she wake up?"

"she should be up soon , if you will excuse me i am gonna go check on the tests so we can have our answers faster " I nodded my head at the doctor as she walked out while i was left alone in the big room , I took deep breath as I sat beside scarlet on the chair , I held her cold hand in mine and kissed it gently worried that I might disturb her sleep

"please be alright! I am begging you ..."
