scarlet's pov :

"this must be a joke . . . " i said as i stared at the fallen pictures on the floor , my hands were already trembling as i was trying to process everything that was going on , i lifted my head and looked at kristian who was staring at me with a look of grief on his face

" is she really dead?" i asked with a whisper , kristian looked at me with a simple pause before he nodded his head

"h. . . how? why ?" my body swayed as i looked at the pictures again , i felt Kristian's hand on my waist as he supported my swaying body to set down

"it's a long story, and really complicated " kristian said as he kneeled in front of me and rubbed my knee with his big hand , he tried to pray the picture of my hand but i held onto it tighter

" i want to know , i deserve to know " kristian sighed and nodded his head

"a couple of months back Whitney started collecting intel on anything that can be used against me , and she must have stumbled on your history , she found out that your mother owned a gang a huge amount of money and she decided to take her in so she can hopefully use her against you , which is against me ."

"my mother owned a gang money ?? how ?" i felt shocked as i listened to kristian talking

"it seems like she has been a drug addict since years back , even before you were born, when she met your dad she got into rehab so she can get clean but after they got married and she had you she started using again in secret , until one day she took a big dose while she was pregnant with her second child and she miscarried , so your father went into a rage and that's how things started going down hill "

"this . . . this is not true , i don't remember any of that happening , my mother . . . she wouldn't , and my father he left . . ." i shacked my head in denial , 'was everything i knew a lie '

"your father had to leave for your sake "

"what??"

"when he and your mother started fighting over who will take you , he was insistent having you with him and keeping you away from your mother and after a lot of fighting i guess , he was able to convince your mother to leave " I stood up from my chair and started pacing around the room , my hands were in my hair as i tried to process all my thoughts

"scarlet. . . "

"then why did he leave ? the next day he left me in my grandmother's house , why ?" i stared at kristian with tears threatening to fall from my eyes , he stood up and walked towards me

"he had to leave you , your mother threatened him through the gang that she was in touch with , she probably said something like if i can't have her then you can't either , that's why he left you so he can keep you safe " my tears escaped from my eyes as i stared at the picture again and again

"how. . . how did she die ? " my voice trembled as i asked the one question that was scaring me the most

"Whitney tried to use her as much as possible , for information about you , and maybe for luring you and when it didn't work she gave her a high dose of drugs and she went overdose " kristian said bluntly while he held my hands in his

"this is to much . . . " i said with a whisper

"i know " kristian whispered back as his hand went to gently touch my face " you okay ?"

"i don't know , i mean i feel weird , i can't hate her even though she destroyed my life and my fathers , and i have been blaming him for all my life about something he didn't do . . . i just don't know how to feel about all this "

"and you don't need to know my love , this is a lot to process and you don't have to go through all this alone , you have me with you " kristian said with a gentle voice as he hugged my trembling body and I hugged him back , i took deep breath as i took a step back and stood on tip toes to kiss kristian gently on his lips , i felt his cold lips on mine as he devoured me hungrily as if his whole life dependent on it , after a minute or two we pulled back and i smiled at him with a sad smile

"let's get you to bed, you need to rest principessa " i shook my head as i pushed myself of kristian

" i want to sit with Noah , sleeping will only make me think about stuff more "

"are you sure ? " kristian asked with concern all over his face , i nodded my head and slowly walked towards the door just as i opened the door and was getting out of the room i stopped in my tracks and turned around and looked at kristian

"Whitney . . . " before i could ask anything kristian gave me a smirk as he held another file in his hand

" she will be taken care of soon , don't worry about it " i nodded my head and smiled as i left the room with a thousand thoughts on my mind .

"hey scar" i looked up and saw mason walking towards me

"hi " i said with a small smile

"i heard about the big news congrats " mason said as he hugged me with a smile

"thank you mason , are you coming to see kristian ?"

"yeah we have some stuff to talk about , and by the way we need to sit and talk about you to , we will have to give your fans some news soon "

"got it , we will do what you see fit " i said to him and ran towards the bathroom as i felt a wave of nausea hit me

"shit " i heard mason curse behind me as he called for kristian out loud , i opened the door to the nearest bathroom and kneeled down to throw up everything i have eaten so far , two gentle hands helped me pat my back and hole my hair away as cried and heaved in the toilet seat for what felt like hours

" Claire , give me a glass of water " kristian said from behind me as he helped me stand up so i can wash my face and brush my teeth

"oh god this is gonna be a long 9 months " i said out loud as i pulled myself up and stood on my own

"we will get through it together principessa " kristian said with a gentle smile as he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear , i nodded my head and gave him a smile

as we walked out of the bathroom i saw mason standing with Adam beside him and jack sitting with Noah on the couch , jack came over when he saw me and congratulated us with a huge smile on his face and we spent the next two hours just speaking about happy things and we ignored everything else for the moment .

Kristian's pov:

"is everything ready ?" I asked Adam as i closed the bedroom door leaving Noah and scarlet sleeping together peacefully on our bed

"yeah , the guys have already taken over Whitney's headquarters , we just need to go there and finish it "

"what about seven ?"

"he was nowhere to be found when we went there " i stopped in my tracks and stared at Adam with a frown

"where the hell is he ?" i almost screamed as i felt my body shake in anger

" he vanished right after the shooting in your wedding " Adam said with a sigh as went down the stairs leaving me behind him to grunt in anger

"if you want to keep standing there then i will be leaving you behind , we have things to finish you know " Adam told me as he pulled the car keys out of his pocket and waved them in front of me , I sighed loudly and walked towards him

"did you get the guards to be extra carful while we are away ?"

"yeah they are surrounding the mansion , inside and outside " Adam said as he drove the car away from our home

"that's good , let's finish everything fast so we can get home before the morning , i don't want scarlet and Noah noticing anything " i said as i opened the glove compartment to get my gun out and making sure that it's loaded

"by the way how did scarlet take the news about her family ?" my hand froze as i looked outside the window and tried to snap out of my daze

"not bad , she didn't panic or break down as i thought she would . . . " i said as i continued to stare out of the window

"and that's a bad thing because . . . ?" and here it was the one question i was dreading the most

"i don't know , i am just worried that she might be building up all this stress and pain and that she will just snap one day, and with the whole pregnancy risk going on, i am just . . . " i tightened my hand in frustration around the gun

"hey. . . " i looked up and saw Adam looking at me with a smile

"scarlet is a tough woman , she won't break this easily , and you have all of us by your side so don't try to hold on everything on your own again man . " Adam said with reassurance , i nodded my head with a sigh

"now get your head in the game man , we're here " Adam said as he stopped the car in front of a big house in the middle of nowhere , i took a deep breath and ignored everything else that is on my mind as we stepped out of the car and walked into the house , looking around i saw all my men surrounding a couple of guys who were kneeling on the ground while begging to be spared , i nodded at some of them and continued walking towards the big room

"you're here ??" I looked in front of me and saw mateo sitting with jack and mason beside him staring at the woman who was sitting in the middle of the room with a look of terror on her face

"you don't look that powerful now, do you ?" i asked Whitney who was shivering in the chair

"yo. . . you can't d. . .do this to me " i laughed loudly at her sarcastic comment

"oh and do you care to tell me why exactly ?"

"i am Whitney Romano you can't kill me " she screamed loudly as she trashed in her chair where the guys had her tied

"this bitch must have a loose screw in her head " mateo said as he stood up and walked towards me with his hands in his pockets

"you. . . who are you calling a bitch ??"

"obviously you , or do you have a hearing problem that you need to check ?"mason continued arguing with her as i stared at her with the coldest look ever

"enough " i screamed making everyone stop talking and stare at me

"if you answer my question right i might consider sparing you, got it ?" i said with venom , trying to be as patient as possible , Whitney nodded her head with a sniff

"where the hell is seven ? " i saw Whitney visibly freeze as she stared at me with horror

"i . . . don't know " i felt my temper flare up as my hand around the gun moved pulling it up and ready to aim it at her head

"i will ask you one more time , where the hell is seven ?" i saw her tremble a lot as she hanged her head low hiding it from us at first i thought she was crying in despair but after a minute i heard a crazy laugh ringing in my ear as Whitney throwed her head backwards and laughed loudly like a maniac , me and the guys frowned and finally mason snapped as her slapped her across the face almost sending her flying

"you. . . you don't even know but as we talk , your beloved seven is taking care of your small family so even if i die today i am taking them with me " i felt my blood boil as my hands went cold and my heart started beating hurriedly , my world was shattering to pieces and i froze in my place not knowing what to do

"snap out of Kris she is lying to scare you " jack screamed at me as he pulled me by the hand , i snapped out of my thoughts and without thinking i aimed at her head and just pulled the trigger leaving her cold dead body hanging on the chair with blood spilling from her head

"let's go " i said as i ran outside wanting to reach our home as fast as possible , i rode the car with the guys while they were trying to reassure me as we tried to contact the bodyguards but no one was answering , the ride took almost 15 minutes but it felt like a year. as we reached the front door i jumped out the car ignoring everyone else , but what greeted me made my heart stop in his tracks and my knees buckle in terror . . .
