It was Saturday and Zane and I haven't spoke a word since our last incident. Christmas is almost around the corner. I'm excited cause it is my favorite holiday. I love the music and the lights and Starbucks season's coffees.

"Well, good morning" Kian said and I groaned.

"Morning, annoying brat" I said and he grinned. He's been annoying me ever since Zane and I fought. He says there's a fine line between love and hate and that we're fighting because the line is fading and we're almost falling in love.

I still don't get his stupid logic.

"So, we're going Christmas shopping today!" He squealed and my eyes widened.

"Why so early? I always buy everything the day before, not that I had a lot of people to buy stuff for. I just had my caretaker, but yeah. It was like a tradition" I said and he chuckled.

"Doesn't matter, we're going shopping" He said and I nodded.

"Just know I'm not buying your brother shit" I said and he nodded.

"We both know you're going to end up buying him at least a pencil" I rolled my eyes then walked upstairs and inside my room.

Shower time! Since we live in California, it gets pretty cold during winter, so wearing hoodies and sweatshirts is definitely an option.

After showering, I walked inside my closet and got dressed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a light blue hoodie. I slipped my black and white vans and grabbed my phone, ready to leave.

I walked out of my room and down the big ass hallway. I saw Zane coming and moved to the side to prevent bumping into him, because I didn't have time to hear his bullshit.

"Can we talk?" He asked once he was beside me.

"Well, I'm leaving now" I replied, not really in the mood.

"When can we talk?" He asked and I pretended to check my phone calendar, then looked up at him.

"Uh, never" I answered and walked away.

I have no plans on talking to him. He's an asshole. I walked inside the living room and saw Kian drinking a huge smoothie. Where did he get that from?

Why do I even ask anyway.

"Ready to leave?" He asked and I nodded.

We arrived the mall and Kian parked his fancy shiny car in the nearest available spot. Lazy much? We got out of the car and walked inside the mall.

"Ok, so mom gave me a list of all the things we need to buy and Ellie did the same. My gifts are not in those lists, which is disappointing because I wanted to know what they were giving me" He explained, then pouted.

"Stop being a baby, let's go" I said, grabbing his hand and walking around the store.

Two hours and a half later later, we had almost every gift. The only ones missing were Kian's and mine. Also, I still hadn't buy Zane a gift.

It was easy to but everything because we had a list of all the things we had to buy, so we didn't need to stop at every single store to find something.

"What should I buy him?" I asked and Kian smirked.

"A ring, so you can confess your love to him" He answered and I slapped his arm.

"Come on!" I hissed.

"I would tell you to buy him a shirt or something, but you should buy him something that means something to you. What I mean is, buy him something that came from your heart" He said.

If it comes from my heart, I will give him an ice block.

"Who would know you were such an inspiring person" He rolled his eyes.

"Let's go! I'm already starving" He said.

I smiled to myself.

I think I already know what I'll give him.

I walked inside the kitchen, trying to find something 'healthy' to eat because after leaving the mall, Kian and I ate in McDonald's and you see, when you go to McDonald's, there's no way in the world you can eat something healthy.

I saw Zane bitting on a sandwich and immediately tried to run away, but miserable failed because he grabbed me by my waist and turned me around so I could face him.

"Not so fast, doll face, we need to talk"

Well, shit.

"We don't need to talk. You just want to annoy my life, so shoo!" I said, then slapped his arm.

Once I was free of his hold, I ran upstairs.

I won't let him ruin my Christmas mood.
