Artemis's Pov
A large blow to my face sent me flying back, before a loose groan left me sprawling out on the cool floor mat. I decided my fate right then and there huffing loudly.
I know it was only to help me, but man I didn't think this training was gonna be this intense, it was worse when it was Steve, Clint and Natasha luckily it was just me, Natasha and Clint into the gym.
"Artemis sweetie you gotta get up." I cracked open both my eyes for a moment and whined loudly looking up into her eyes where she stood above me "A quick break please... Nothing is working! It wont come out." I exclaimed loudly slowly pushing myself up into the sitting position.
I glared hard at the floor, muttering a low thank you when Clint sat down next to me after placing a icepack on my cheek. "We gotta figure out what unlocks it." Natasha repeated slowly tucking away her red hair looking at me with soft eyes.
The cooling of the ice pack was calming down my annoying anger. I hate that we've been doing this training for weeks now and nothing has changed expect for me becoming a little bitch and getting my ass beat.
"Nat let's give her a break okay? She has a bruise on her face." Clint stated in a small tone tucking away the loose strands of my curls that fell from the bun. Natasha released a small sigh before nodding.
"One hour alright." She sent me a soft calm smile, and I returned it at her shutting my eyes leaning back into the warmth of Clint holding me.
What was going on with me..? It felt like all this hate was coursing through my heart and had no way of escaping so it was growing. I was changing and I didn't like it one bit.

With the hour gone, soon Steve and Bruce joined in to watch the sparing session since Tony was watching Morgan and Bucky was doing his own thing with Sam in the compound with Wanda. Natasha sent one hit straight to my nose and I didn't like how angry I got.
"Damn it Natasha!" I shouted groaning I held my nose stopping the little droplets from my nose standing still "Fuck I'm sorry Artemis! I forget my strength." She quickly apologize trying to step towards me but I quickly shouted out.
"No Nat stay back please." I quickly stammered backing away from everyone. "Nat stay back." Steve quickly ordered to her. Still holding my other hand out I watched the dark blue orb shoot out from my hand and launched itself at the wall knocking into it.
"Her eyes are glowing." I heard Bruce stammering out "So is her hair." Clint stuttered out. I blinked my eyes like madly watching the bluish purple glow fade and I lowered my hand down.
"I-it's powered by hate. " I stammered out in disbelief turning back to face everyone. "H-how can I have a power, fuled by anger?" I quickly asked them "Okay wait calm down Artemis." Steve told me walking towards me grabbing me gently by my arms.
"We don't know if it's fuled by that, this new power could just be trying to figure out how it works okay? Maybe it's just protecting you, maybe it's senses when you are in danger." I was trying to listen to him but all I could think about was how bad this feeling was.
My hands started shaking and I started freaking out "Steve I don't wanna be evil... I don't wanna be evil!" His arms were quick to wrap around me hugging me tightly "Artemis you are far from evil okay. You gotta calm down doll you aren't evil." He repeated squeezing me tightly holding the back of my head onto his chest more.

"Natasha can you get Tony to call Quil on that device, tell him if he can get Thor and Loki back here? I think she needs to meet Thor and Loki." Bruce ordered out to her.
I was still shaking and from my position with my head hiding on his chest I looked at my hands to see the glowing forming once again between my finger tips before it faded.
"I'm on it, Artemis, it's gonna be alright Sweetie." I felt Natasha slowly rub my back when she passed by me talking to me in a calming voice almost half a few months ago I was normal, that is until I learned about the soulmate marks on my arms.
Maybe I wasn't so normal to begin with. "Thank you Steve." I whispered quietly once I had calmed down looking up at him, he sent me a gentle smile and pressed a quick kiss to my forehead and on my cheeks.
"No more training for today alright, I'll tell your mom about today's training session." He informed me.

I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me.
