The next morning when the alarm went off we both got up and showered together.

"I have a meeting today but I will try and meet you for lunch."

"Sounds good Theo and I'm going to stop off at the pharmacy and pick up a pill."

"I'm really sorry sweetness."

"Theo it's not your fault I mean the condom busted and you didn't cause it and we didn't do anything rough."

"I know." He said pulling me into his arms.

I kissed his lips and hugged him. "We better get going. I have cherry candy to make today."

"Oh, no way. I most definitely will see you at lunch. Do you want to ride together?"

"Sounds good I don't have anywhere to go." I smiled.

We walked downstairs and he locked the door and opened my truck door.

Once in the truck, I remembered that I needed to stop at the pharmacy.

"Theo I do need to make that one stop do you mind? It's not far from the shop."

"Sure sweetness." He smiled over at me and linked his fingers in mine.

We pull up and he said he would go in and get it and I couldn't help but smile. I know that Theo is the man of my dreams and I am more than just falling. I think I am in love with him already.

Is that even possible?

"I got weird looks but here ya go. I even bought you some Gatorade to take it with."

"Why what happened?"

"The older lady behind the counter said... You do know you can't take this?"

"No she didn't Theo."

"Oh yeah she did and I laughed and told her it was for my girlfriend and then she laughed."

"I'm sorry you should of let me go in there."

"No, I don't mind. Now let's get you to work sweetness because my meeting starts soon."

Once at Candy Rush I lean over and kiss him and head inside.

Elena was standing at the counter holding a vase of daffodils. "Ooh, where did you get those?"

She smirked... "Issac gave them to me."

"Well, that was sweet of him. I did remind him they were your favorites." I laughed.

"I knew it! I saw you get out of Theo's truck."

"I stayed the night." I giggled and walked back to my office and laid my stuff down.

I grabbed my favorite apron and put it on and went to the back. "Hey, guys!"

"Hey, boss!" Issac smiled.

"I see you took my advice."

"I did and got a kiss on the cheek."

"Take her out to eat Issac. Ask her out tonight I will even give you the money to go."

"Just do it." Beau nudged.

"Alright I will go ask her." Issac sighed.

When he walked up front Beau and I high-fived and laughed. When he walked back he was smiling.

"Well?"

"She said yes!" He smiled.

I patted him on the back and went to my office and grabbed the money and went back and stuck it in his pocket.

"I can't take your money boss."

"You do every week and this is no different just have a good time Issac."

"Thanks, boss." He laughed.

"What are you guys making today?"

"Umm more pots of gold... You?"

"I am going to make some cherry nougat for Theo."

"Ooh, Theo... So now he's your boyfriend?"

"He is and thanks for taking up for me if he was to hurt me Issac I appreciate that. You are the brother I never had."

"Anytime boss!" He smiled.

I walked back and mixed up some chocolate and got the cherries out and put in my air pods and worked until almost lunch.

I put them in the freezer and walked into my office and Theo was just sitting down.

"Hey, sweetness!"

"Hey, you are just in time because I'm starving."

"Same!" He smiled.

"I just got your candy in the freezer so you can have some this evening."

"I got tacos for everyone if you want to pass it out but umm are you staying tonight?"

"Unless you want to stay the night with me?" I smile.

"It's a deal Vaylin."

I walk out and hand the tacos out and then walk back to my office and shut the door.

"They say thank you, Theo. They were all hungry."

"It's nothing sweetness."

"So I gave Theo a tip to buy Elena some daffodils since they are her favorite so he did and gave them to her this morning and I told him I would pay for his dinner if he asks her out."

"Did he?"

"He did so I gave him money to take her."

"That's sweet. It could turn into a love story like ours."

"So we have a love story, Theo?"

"Why not? It all happened in a candy shop."

"Oh is that why you kept coming back?"

"There were many reasons I kept coming back but after I saw that ass damn I had to."

"Theo!" I laugh.

"What? It's true I mean plus when I saw your beautiful face I was a goner."

"That's very sweet of you to even say that. The first day you walked in with your hands in your pockets wanting reindeer poop I thought you were pretty cute but taken."

"Is that why you went above and beyond for me sweetness?"

"No I do that for all of my customers but it just seemed like you were on a mission."

"You have no idea. That same day that I bought the candy I was sad thinking of Jenna"

"That's sad Theo and she as so young."

"She was and I was just missing her and somehow my broken heart lead me to you."

"You say the sweetest things."

"Can I try a piece of candy now please?"

"Oh, you were buttering me up for my candy."

"Maybe I was candy girl." He laughs.

I walk over and kiss his lips before going to get the candy.
