The next evening we decided to invite everyone over for dinner.

Issac, Beau, Hailey, and Elena. Then there was Beth and Jonny and Ali and Billy and also Josh. We want to tell them all together.

The chocolate is in the fridge and I have the sonogram in my pocket.

Vaylin made fried chicken with mashed potatoes, veggies, and gravy.

Everyone started coming in and hugging. "Thanks for the invite guys!" Beth smiled.

"We hope you like the food. Vaylin has been cooking all evening."

"It smells so good in here," Josh said.

We sit down to eat and all the food and when it was time for dessert Vaylin went over and got the box of chocolates.

"This is what we were working on the other day Issac that was top secret and well now you all get to know. So umm please don't eat it." She laughed.

Beth took the lid off and everyone was quiet looking in it.

"Holy shit! Holy shit!" Ali said jumping up. "My best friend is having a baby?"

"We are." Vaylin smiled holding her stomach which doesn't even have a bump yet.

"I'm going to be an Aunt?" Beth cried.

"How far along are you?" Elena asked.

"We are twelve weeks," I said pulling out the sonograms to pass around.

"This is so exciting!" Beau laughed.

"Thanks, guys! We shared it with our parents yesterday and they are excited too."

"Did dad cry?" Beth asked.

"No, he just wanted to eat the chocolate."

"Sounds about right." She smirked.

We all helped to clean up the kitchen and then the guys and I went to the basement to play pool and drink beer.

"I can't believe you are going to be a dad but it's exciting man," Josh said.

"We are really excited." I handed him a beer and then passed them around to everyone else.

A couple of hours later everyone left and Vaylin came into the kitchen. "Do you want to eat our chocolate or save it?"

"Don't we have other chocolate we can eat sweetness?"

"Yeah, we do. I made some cherry nougat shamrocks today."

"Oh man, you know what I love."

"I love them as well those and the blueberry are my favorites I think."

"I haven't tried anything you make that isn't great sweetness."

I watch as she rubbed her belly and she does that a lot now. I set the container on the coffee table and get on my knees and kiss her belly and talk to the little blob.

"You melt my heart when you do that Theo."

I grin up at her and kiss her belly again before sitting beside her on the couch grabbing the box of chocolates.

We both grab a shamrock. "I wish I could have some wine, Theo."

"I'm sorry sweetness. I won't drink any so you won't want it."

"No you can drink it if you want to I don't mind. Giving it up for our little blob is worth it."

"I think so too. I mean I did have some beer in the basement with the guys."

"They all seemed happy for us didn't they Theo?"

"Oh yeah, they all are happy for us. This baby is going to be so spoiled."

"Yes, I believe she will be."

"She huh? You mean he?"

"Nope, I'm sure it's a girl. It's just a thing I feel like I know."

"And what is telling you that it's a girl?"

"My mind Theo and the way I just feel inside."

"If it's a boy what will his name be?"

"How about Teddy?"

"Oh sweetness that's so much like Theodore and I hate that."

"That's why I said it." She smirked.

"Ok, what about a girl?"

"I don't have a first name but I have a second name for sure."

"Are you going to clue me in about that?"

"Not yet but once we find out what we have but I'm serious about Teddy. I would want our son to be named after you Theo."

"Even though I hate Theodore that would mean the world to me, sweetness."

I lean over and kiss her lips and lick the chocolate off of her bottom lip.

"I love you, Theo."

"I love you too Vaylin. Can I take you upstairs and show you how much?"

"I would love that Theo." She pulls me closer and kisses my lips again.

I get her by the hand and pull her up the steps to the bedroom.

"How about a shower?"

"Yes please." She smiled.

We stripped down and I got the water ready and then turned around wrapping my arms around her.

"I didn't know I could be this happy sweetness and that's what you bring me."

"Oh, Theo you know my hormones." She said as a tear falls from the corner of her eye.

"It's true sweetness. I can't believe this is my life and every day I have to look over at you in the bed to make sure I wasn't dreaming."

"Are we supposed to be this happy Theo?"

"Oh I think so! Look how long my parents and yours have been married."

She smiled up at me as the water falls down on us and I crash my lips onto hers.

I'm afraid for her to jump in my arms being pregnant so I lift up one of her legs and slide right in.

That is one good thing about her being pregnant I don't have to worry about a condom and dear Jesus it feels so much better without a condom. What have I been missing?

"What are you thinking about?"

"How great this feels without a condom on." I laugh.

She leans in and bites my nipple and it causes me to jump. "What was that for?"

"Are you going to thrust or leave me hanging?"

"Oh man, you sure are bossy being pregnant." I laugh.
