Dexter POV
"Boss, I don't think it will be a problem if you bring Elsie back to this mansion. We will be able to protect her." Alex's words make my mind won't stop thinking about the possibility to bring her back to this mansion, keeping her beside me.
"You heard what that bastard said before he was dead." I reminded him. He was there when Lorenzo said those haunting words and he knew the reason I purposely hurt Elsie and forced her to leave the mansion.
"His agenda was to provoke you and you shouldn't let him control your mind." What he said makes sense. I kinda agreed with him but deep down, I still doubt if I can really protect her.
"Actually, boss. Protecting her will be the same as you protecting Andrea. You can trust yourself to protect Andrea but why can't you trust yourself in protecting Elsie. Plus, you are not alone in this. We will work together and keep an eye on them." Isn't God send this guy to knock some sense inside my head? Why I didn't think about all these before? I facepalm myself.
"You were right, I should at least ask your opinion in the first place before I kicked her out from this mansion. I was a fool!" I growled in frustration.
"You still have time for that, boss." He smiled genuinely. Yes, true. All his words make sense and I should talk to him earlier. It will save me from the pain and the same goes for Andrea.
"I don't think it will be easy this time to bring her back," I sighed, regretted my impulsiveness.
"Remember, boss. It wasn't easy too for the first time." He reminded me. Yes, indeed, it wasn't.
"I need to go. Take care of the mansion. I will be back soon with her." I said happily as I finally decided to bring her back with me.

Elsie POV
"How it is? Do you like it?" I asked. Lucas sat beside me while he shoved a spoonful of chicken lasagna into his mouth. He closed his eyes and chewed on the food while I waited for his answer excitedly. We spend our time in the living room with our food and movie while chit-chatting.
"Quick, tell me." I urged.
"I don't like it, but I loved it." He shrieked in excitement. "No word can describe this." He showed me a good sign with his big thumb.
"You are overreacting." I rebuked, shook my head. "It's just chicken lasagna." I laughed.
"This is the best chicken lasagna that I ever had. I will miss this, babe, when I fly back home." He displayed a sad face.
"You can come back anytime. I will always be here or maybe I can visit you there if I didn't get any job in a few weeks' time. I think I should take some time to relax." I take a sip of my drink.
"I will be your tour guide." He winked.
"That will be nice but don't you ever bring me to any weird place," I narrowed my eyes on him which only caused him to laugh.
"You are an adult now, Elsie. You should explore the world more and clubbing should be one of them." I knew he loved clubbing and he used to force me to accompany him but luckily my dad was strict with me. I still can remember the only time he managed to drag me to the weird club.
"That wasn't part of my interest." I turned my eyes on the movie that played on the screen.
"So, the mafia is part of your interest?" I lightly punched his arm with his question. I just told him about the story and he started to tease me about that.

"I really want to meet him in real. He must be a hot guy with eight packs and a strong aura of mafia which could make any girls that look at him melted." He stared blankly at the TV, probably scanning the figure that he just drew in his mind.
"You, dummy. I shouldn't tell you about him." I tried to ignore him and took a slice of pizza from the table but the topping of the pizza which was the minced chicken with the black pepper suddenly dropped on his brown shirt.
"Oh, gosh. I'm sorry."
"Look at what you have done, girl." He yelped pretended like it was some kind of poison dropped on his shirt.
"Such a drama queen," I giggled. "Take off your shirt, let me give you one of my shirts." I ran to my bedroom searching for one of my loose T-shirt that he can wear.
I came out of the room once I grabbed a blue loose shirt from my wardrobe. Lucas was already shirtless waiting for the shirt and at that moment before I handed the shirt to him, I heard the doorbell.
"Wait, let me open that first," I ran to the room with the shirt in my hand.
The sight in front of my eyes shocked me. The guy with the maroon shirt and black jeans stood there with his hands tugged in his pockets. He looked at me and Lucas back and forth. He didn't smile and his eye was dark and it getting darken which I can assure that he was furious.
"I think God granted your wish to meet him in real," I muttered audibly.

Erind x Deen Alternate Reality Spin-Off of REND
Main Story: REND Due to popular demand of readers of REND, I'm writing a non-canon spin-off to pair Erind Hartwell, the main character, and Amber Deen Leska, (probably) the most popular side character of the story. I separated this from the main story because a romantic type of relationship between these two is not possible there. It'll be mostly light-hearted, slow progression of Erind and Deen's relationship, will mostly be fluffy interaction with maybe some adult scenes here and there.
