Today is the day. The Midnight pack members are splitting up to go to different places. All the warriors are going home escorting my parents there while Xavier and I join the high ranking wolves of Midnight at the Wolves conference. The conference is being held in the neutral forest area in Yosemite which is in California. Wolves over time have created buildings for the meetings to be held along with housing for whenever there is one. It will be a few hour drives from Toiyabe, Nevada where the Dark Moon pack is. At least the confrontation with Axel finally got him off my back. The alpha, beta, and gamma of the Dark Moon pack will also be coming to the Wolves conference but in different cars.

Both Xavier and I packed our room up and started loading the luggage into the cars we brought. After I went to the alphas office to make sure everything is ready for Dark Moon to fend off the rogues attacking them. Alone in the room, I looked over their notes and papers to make sure, also looking over the placements of the traps are in the right positions. I spent over an hour making sure that everything was in order before grabbing a quick run through the woods in wolf form. I hadn't run in a while and my wolf had been getting restless in my head craving for a run.

Before I knew it was time to leave. Right before getting in the car, I looked behind me to look over my childhood home. This was most likely the last time I was going to be here and for some reason, I wasn't upset to leave. Turning around I jumped into the seat of the car that Xavier and I were riding. The two of us had our luggage in the back and our snacks piling up in the car. 

Once Xavier got into the car started it I said "Road trip bitch."

He laughed and pulled onto the road. Throughout the long car drive, we stopped about four times to go to the bathroom and stretch. Xavier and I sang songs, ate food, and talked throughout the entire ride. We also switched a few times on driving to let the other person have a break.

Once we reached Yosemite where the meeting is being held we immediately went to the housing area. I finally got out of the car to stretch my legs and arms after sitting for so long. I observed the beautiful scenery around me and the stunning waterfall away from civilization. We got our luggage from the car and went into the Midnight housing. Throughout this area, there were multiple housings each for an individual pack to stay in. Once we got in I recognized the familiar smell coming from it. I ran into the arms of my best friends as he twirled me around the room. I started to giggle as he was spinning me and once he stopped I snuggled back into his arms.

"Aw did you miss me that bad squirt," he said holding me back.

"Shut up," I said into his chest.

The conference was taking place the next day after we had arrived so we spent the day catching up on life. I told Aiden and Lukas about Axel attempting to get back together with me and what he had tried to do the day before we had left.

"He tried to get with you after he basically called you a whore. Man this is rich, the guys an idiot" Aiden said laughing.

I laughed along with him and said "And after the party where his chosen mate revealed that she was pregnant he still wanted me to be his side piece so I played him and then put him in his place."

"Of course you did, Ana" Lukas said laughing.

"So how about guys? What have you been up to?" I asked.

"Well not much. Just normal pack business and training" Aiden replied.

"Ugh you guys are so boring" Xavier said.

Aiden gave a pillow to him and said "Well not all of us have a psycho ex-mate."

We all laughed and that was basically what we had done that day. When morning finally came we had breakfast at our house and got ready for the meeting. Members from each pack had to be wearing very formal attire. I wore a short black dress with a smokey eye look for my makeup. I curled my hair and put it up in a ponytail, then putting on my jewelry. All three boys wore formal shirts and then we walked toward the biggest building there.

As we walked in there were multiple other packs walking into the big meeting area. The four of us walked towards the front where the Midnight seating was being held. The seats were all conference had a big rule on one person speaking at a time. We all waited until everyone was seated until the announcer for this meeting stood up to the front. The announcer is one of the only lycans not in the royal pack. The announcer Zayden, has been around for a while and takes care of every meeting held.

"Welcome wolves. Let this meeting commence" Zayden said.

"First things first let's talk about finance."

We continued to talk about the logistics of the packs for about an hour and half before it was time to talk about the weird anonymity of what had happened a few days ago.

"What do you think it was?" someone asked from the crowd.

Before anyone could answer the door opened loudly and everyone turned around to see who it was. First came in two beautiful men that looked identical, twins. The guys had forest green eyes and brunette hair on top of their head. Obviously by the build of them both have heavily worked out and are warriors by the look of it. Before I could keep analyzing the twins a man from behind them walked in. Wearing a buttoned down shirt that hugged his muscles very well. The man is also clearly gorgeous with hazel eyes and a mess of blonde hair. This guy was different from the twins, he had a different aura around him. Powerful and someone meant to be listened to, obviously also strong.

"Hope we are not too late" he said deeply, his face amused. I turned to look at Zayden on the stage who looked frightened.

Zayden said shakily "King Sinclair."
