"Good morning," says the sweetest voice in my head, waking me up.
"Good morning, amare," I said back to her.
I sat up on my bed, pulling my finger through my hair to get some knots out.
"Are you going to Abia's today?" Ana asks.
"Yes, my darling mate," I said.
Looking up at the door, I saw Akoni trying to get my attention right outside my door.
"Hey, gorgeous, I got to go. My dumbass friend is calling me," I said.
"Ok, bye. I love you and stay safe," she said.
"Love you too."
Ana cut the bond between us as I stood up to greet Akoni.
"Are you done moping around?" he asked me.
"I'm not moping," I said in defense.
"Yeah, sure," he said mockingly.
I rolled my eyes at him and said "If you must know, I was greeting my mate."
"Oh yeah, she and Sin are all alone together. Don't you wonder what they're doing? You know how Sin is," Akoni said to me, smirking.
Just the thought of them together makes my skin crawl and my jealousy spikes up. My shadows went to Akoni, grabbing him with both his feet and hands.
"What the fuck, Arius? Let me go."
I trust my Ana more than anyone, but that fucking snake will try every possible way to get to me.
"Ari, come on, I was joking. Ana would chop his dick off if tried something."
My shadows let him go as Akoni fell to the ground, grumbling in annoyance.
"You're right. Isn't my girl just perfect" I said, walking into the bathroom smiling like an idiot.
"I should give Ana my apologies for having an idiot, mate," Akoni shouted from outside.

"I'll tell Allegra about the cabin last December," I said back.
"Fuck you. You were supposed to take that to your grave, asshole."
Brushing my teeth and changing into a fresh pair of clothes, I walked outside to see that Akoni was joined by Allegra.
"Finally. What are you doing in there, getting ready for a fashion show," Allegra said, annoyed.
"Might as well be," I said, looking down at my outfit.
Allegra rolled her eyes and said, "We have to go now before Abia throws a fit."
"She's such a drama queen," Akoni said just as I teleported us to her home.
"Am I now?" said a voice behind me.
"Arius said it," Akoni said, dashing behind me.
"Coward," Allegra muttered.
"Big sister," I said, bending down to kiss her cheek in greeting.
"Why have you not come to visit me with your cute mate?" Abia asks.
"She is with Sin," I replied.
"What did you do?"
"Why do you think I did something?" I ask, offended.
"Cause you're a dumbass," she said.
"Says you," I said under my breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing" I replied, quickly.
"Thought so. Akoni, why are cowering in the back? Come out and go make some tea," Abia said.
"Yes, ma'am," Akoni said, leaving for the kitchen.
Allegra came to hug Abia before we all went to sit down at Abia's circle table.
"So brother, tell me why you are your mate at Sin's," she asked.
"Revenge," I said simply.
"Of course, and that is why you have come here, because you need something," my sister said with a raised eyebrow.
I smile at her sheepishly before saying, "Yes."
Abia and I have a very complicated relationship. Our mother, Gaea, bore into the Earth when I was just born, so Abia had taken care of me since I was young. Eventually, I moved out of her place here and took over the underworld, but I always came back to keep her company. Being much older than me, she still has not found her mate, and it has taken a toll on her.

"I'll visit more, I promise, and this time with my mate with me," I said to her.
She nodded as Akoni came out with tea in hand. Once he served the tea to all of us, Abia took a sip.
"So tell me, what is it you need?"
"Can you make a lycan human?" I ask.
"Of course I can. Arius don't slouch," she said.
"I'm not even slouching," I said.
"Yes, you are, don't slouch. Allegra eat more. You are getting skinnier by the day," she said, grabbing some cookies and putting them on Allegra's plate.
"Ok, can we get back on topic?" I said.
"Oh right. Who do you think I am? Of course, I can make a simple human potion."
"Great, can you make it?" I asked.
"Fine, I'm getting annoyed by Sin too. Although, I want something in exchange," Abia said.
"What do you want?"
"That charm bracelet I liked the last time I was at your place."
"I'll give it to you the next time I'm here," I said.
Abia clapped her hand before turning to Akoni.
"Akoni, go get me my ingredients for the spell," Abia said, using her magic to give Akoni the list.
"Why are you bullying me, Abia?" Akoni said with a groan.
"Maybe because you mixed two potions together when I explicitly told you not to touch to blow my kitchen up," Abia responded.
"You'll have your ingredients in 30 minutes," Akoni said, jumping from his seat to grab the paper before rushing out.
"Arius, darling, go up to your room and take a nap. You look exhausted," Abia said, pushing me to my bedroom.
"But-" I started to say.
"Do as I say, boy."
"Fine," I grumbled, going to my room.
Leaving both Allegra and Abia, I went to my old room to do as my sister said.
"Baby, you there?" I asked Ana in my head.
"Hi, Ari. Why are you calling?" Ana said, immediately responding.
"Just my sister babying me," I said.
Putting my head onto the pillow, I looked up to my ceiling filled with stars.
"Aww, I wish I was there."
"Me too, mate."
"I got to go, Ari, the psycho won't leave me alone."
"Stay safe," I said.
"Don't worry, Adonis is my new accessory to keep me from Sin."
"Good. Kisses, love."
"Kisses."
It seems my sister was right; I was exhausted since I took a four-hour-long nap. Once I woke up, I went to go see if the potion was done.
"Is it done?" I asked, going over to the living room.
Abia rolled her eyes at me and said, "It was done three hours ago, sleeping beauty."
"Why didn't you call?"
"You need your rest. Now that you are well-rested, here," Abia said, handing me the potion.
"Thank you," I said, hugging her.
"You better come soon."
"I will," I replied.
"Take care of all of you," Abia said to us.
We whisked back to the castle for our last stretch.
It was time for Sinclair Royal to meet his end.
