I wake up in an unfamiliar bed. Silk covers and the heavenly smell of Niccolo.

Niccolo?

I quickly look around. This isnt the estate? Where am I. I sit up and try to remember and last nights events come back to me. I groan.

He witnessed my nightmares, he probably thinks im a freak. Oh no. I get out of the comfortable bed and notice im wearing a big ass balck shirt. Its so comfy. And it smells so good.

I look at my phone and its 6 am. Ok so if i hurry i can get a cab, go home then go to work by 8, easy.

I go into the attached bathroom and wash up, then decide to look for him. As im walking around, i notice how beautiful this place is. Its a pent house and its gorgeous. I smell something burning so i quickly go to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" I ask watching Niccolo poke around what looks like a browned egg in a pan. He turns to me and his eyes go to my legs then snap back up.

"Making breakfast, but it doesn't look right" he grunts. I walk closer, beside him, and look into the pan. How did he burn scrambled eggs? I look up at him holding in a laugh.

"I can make breakfast" i say. he opens his mouth to protest but i cut in. "please?" i ask. He sighs then nods. He moves a little but remains close to the stove. I cut up some veggies and make like an scrambled egg with vegetables thing that i know he'd enjoy.

He is watching my every move and surprisingly, i didn't mess up. Once Im done i make two plates and carry them to his island, with him following me.

"grazie melodia" he hums. Melodia? what? I shrug and sit beside him then begin poking around my eggs. Im not very hungry. "Eat" his thick voice sounds. I look up at him and nod.

After eating our breakfast, i do the dishes with him protesting, something about a maid. and then i turn to him, rather nervous.

"Uhm i wanted to thank you, i know im a handful and you always get stuck with me, but ill uh, try to keep my distance from now on, im sorry for always being like this" I say. I look up at him and his expression is blank. I wait for him to say something but he doesnt so i nod and turn to find my dress, then leave.

I feel him grab my arm and turn me around. He looks into my eyes intensely and i look down.

"I only get stuck where i want to be stuck" he husks. I look up confused and tilt my head. I see something flash in his eyes. He looks at me longer then leans in and places a firm kiss on my forehead. Im blushing so hard, he looks at me and chuckles. "You can stay here while i go do some work" he says. Aw.

"N-no, thats very kind, but uh i have to go to work" i say and he nods.

"Bene, go change and ill drive you home" he says. I nod and quickly get changed. Once im done i walk out to see that he has also changed into his usual suit. He looks up from his phone, his eyes looking me up and down for a minute before he stands up from the couch. "Come".

We elevator to the lobby and he leads me to his car.

A silent car ride later, we're at my building.

"Thankyou-"

"No, go change and come back, ill drive you to work." he says in a deep voice. I shake my head.

"Oh no, thats not necessary, you've already done so much, i can walk" i tell him, he looks at me and gives me a challenging look. I huff. "Well then come wait upstairs?" i ask him. He nods and we both make our way to my apartment.

"Do you want something to drink?" i ask him. He shakes his head. I nod and quickly change, i dont want to keep him waiting.

I am meeting Laia for lunch today so i have to dress cute.

I decide on a short, pastel yellow dress and some pastel yellow heels, i have a pair of fluffy slippers at the bakery so ill be fine. I leave my hair open but put a hairclip in my bag. Once im done i walk back to the living room.

Niccolo is on the phone when i walk out, he looks at me and pauses.

"Uh, sì, sì Rick, ill call you" he says into the phone after minute of looking at me. "You look beautiful" he says. I blush making him chuckle, again. "Come". I follow him out.
