I wake up to a warm cozy feeling. I yawn and look at Zane sleeping soundlessly next to me. Looking over his shoulder I see it's already 9:30 AM. Today is the day of the dance. I'm so excited!

I've been excited to go to this dance since Zane asked me to be his date. It'll be so much fun today. Especially getting ready with everyone else today. All the littles are coming over to my dorm room today and all the doms are going to Elijah's dorm.

"Good morning Love," Zane says in his morning voice. God his morning voice is so perfect...

"Morning..." I say cuddling into him. "Are you ready for today?" He questions me. I nod excitedly.

"Okay well we have to get up to get breakfast." He says slowly getting out of bed. I groan not wanting to get out, "do we have to...?" I question him covering myself in blankets.

"Yes we do plus...we have to get breakfast. You don't want to die of starvation now do we?" He tells me picking me out of bed. I whine a little and Zane goes to my closet picking me out a basic outfit of sweats a a T-shirt.

He takes me to the bathroom and I take a quick shower. I get dried off and then brush my teeth. "I'm ready!" I say getting out.

"Good now let's go in really hungry" he tells me taking my hand gently. We leave my dorm and head for the dining hall.

Once we get there Zane and I get in line and he gets us our trays. He fills our trays up with delicious looking foods then we head to our table.

We greet everyone and sit down at the table. We all eat and chat about today and how much fun it's going to be tonight. They all say how extravagant these dances gets because the school pays for them.

"Imagine the met gala...but bigger...and better" Avery says to me excitedly. Oh wow okay...that's interesting.

We all agree that we all should meet by the big tree that's in the middle of the campus before heading off. As soon as we're all done eating we all say bye and all group up into our groups. The littles with the littles and the doms with the doms.

"Alright let's go to my dorm!" I say excitedly and head over to my dorm. Their suits and dresses have already been delivered to my dorm while we were eating so everything should be there.

When we enter my dorm room we see all of our dresses and suits all hanged up. And also stylist were in my dorm. I turn to see Avery who said, "They always hire stylist so they can get us ready...I told you it's like the met gala Carmen but bigger!" She giggles at me and heads for the stylist.

I do the same and head for the stylist as well. We all have our own personal stylist and chairs and mirrors.

The stylist get to work on us as soon as we sit down. As they work on us we all talk about tonight and how amazing it'll be. They tell me about last years dance they went to and how everything was. From what they're telling me it does sound like the met gala but better...

After sitting in that chair for what feels like hours it's finally over. We all got our make up and hair done. "You look so good!" Kelly tells me. I thank her and compliment her back.

All we have to do now is get into our dresses. We all grab our clothes and go to change. It takes me a good 15 minutes to figure out how to put this dress on but I find out after a minute.

We all come out and look at each other at how amazing we look. Wow...

"Let's get going to the tree guys?" Justin says. We all agree looking at the time that all the doms are probably already there.

We make our way there seeing all the doms are there already. We all gawk at how beautiful they all look. They look so good!!!

We all get together and compliment each other. Elijah looks at his watch and tells us we have to go before we're late. "Before we go let's take a picture!" Alex says smiling. We all agree and set our phones down. We put a timer on it and get into a quick pose and take the picture.

Instead of heading to the parking garage like usual the doms lead us to the front of the school. When we get there there's a limousine waiting on us. The limousine drive comes out and opens the door for us to enter. We all get in and the driver closes the door. I sit next to Zane and hold his hand in mine. He smiles at me. I get butterflies in my stomach every time he does that.

It doesn't take us long to get to the venue place. When we get out the limousine there's flashes of lights everywhere, "see told you Carmen..." she was right...

People take our pictures as we pass by them. Everywhere I look there's people from school in extravagant dresses and suits. Everyone looks good.

Once we pass all the pictures we finally actually make it inside. Oh wow this place is big! There's multiple chandeliers in the ceiling. So many tables and chairs for people to sit at. Waitresses and waiters are coming back and forth and some are carrying plates of food. There's a huge dance floor we can go dance at. And a huge food area too where we can server ourselves good.

We go to find a table first and leave our stuff. We all go to the dance floor and dance as the music is blasting.

After a while we all get hungry and go back to our table. We all order some food and wait on it to arrive. It doesn't take long for it to get here. As it arrives we begin to eat.

Once we're done we just sit there and talk. Elijah, Alex, Casey, Avery, Justin and Quinn go out to dance again.

I need to tell Zane my plans... "hey um...Zane can I talk to you for a minute outside" I ask him getting a bit nervous. My hands start to get a bit clammy but I can't help it im nervous!

He shakes his head yes and looks worried. He leads me outside to a secluded area where it's just the two of us.

"Hey what's wrong? Is this to much for you...? If you want we can go back to campus." He tells me tentatively. I smile at him and shake my head no.

"No it's not that...I have to tell you something..." I say.

"You can tell me anything im hear to listen."

I take in a breath, "...im leaving...to the U.K"

"What..."his eyes widen.

"It's just that...since the whole Austin incident I haven't really been...in the right head space...I haven't been here mentally. Im still constantly feeling scared and feel like he's watching me some how..."I say looking down not being able to make eye contact with Zane.

"Look im really happy we finally can be together...but I just don't want to put you through any of my problems again...and also I think it'll be good for me. I'll be around some of my close friends...I just...this whole year has changed me for the good and bad..." I tell him.

"But...I just feel like I have to do this...for me," I tell him finally getting the courage to look up. He nods at me.

"Carmen, your problems are my problems, we're in this together. But if you feel like this is the best decision for you then I'll accept it. I'll be waiting here for you when you come back" he says taking both my hands in his.

We look at each other in the eyes. The moon light reflects off of his hazel eyes. And without permission he just smashes his lips into mine.

This kiss felt like coming home. His lips on mine felt some familiar and it was like we had done this so many times before. His skin soft like skin and his eyes...those eyes. When our kiss became more passionate...more deep his changed from hazel to a more darker pallet shades. I lost myself in this it felt like it was only us two in the world.

We both pulled away from each other and smiled. I was blushing bright red I could already feel it. I clear my throat, "I leave in a week..."

"A WEEK?!? Oh okay...well we're gonna have to cram all the things I want to do with you in that week then!" He says.

We go back inside and enjoy the rest of the dance.

For the rest of the week me and Zane did everything we wanted to do. We went on dates, hanged out, went to theme parks, go shopping, we even pranked some people together.

This past week felt so amazing. Zane helped me pack up my dorm room and put things into boxes. We got most things packed up and the things I didn't want we just gave away or donated.

I look around my dorm room. I sigh...I've made so many memories here...both good and bad ones. But there some of the memories I'll never forget.

Zane taps my shoulder and takes my suit case and grabs my hand. Before closing the door I take one last look. I'll miss this dorm. I smile and close the door behind me one last time.

We get downstairs and I say bye to everyone. I kind of start to cry a little...well a lot because I'll miss these guys here. Elijah cried a bit...he'll tell you he didn't...but he did.

Once that's done we get into Zane's car and we head to the airport. Zane has his hand on my thigh the whole ride there. "So Carmen...why did you have a huge PC set up in that tiny closet of yours and never told me?" He questions me as he drives.

"Oh you know just for fun. You took my electronics once remember! I have to have a way to have fun some how!" I smile. He doesn't need to know everything just yet...I giggle a little.

He just shakes his head and chuckles. When we get to the airport Zane is with me the whole time. He takes me all the way to my boarding gate.

We wait there for about two hours for my flight to arrive.

"Flight 87D to the United Kingdom now boarding"

The speaker says. We stand up and before I go to board Zane stops me. I look at him.

"I'll be waiting for you to come back...I love you," he tells me. I smile at him warmly.

"I love you too Zane Black" I give him one last warm kiss.

"Goodbye Carmen Aguilar"

I give him a little chuckle.

"This isn't goodbye...think of it as a see you later..." he nods and smiles at me letting go of me.

I head over to the boarding section and give my plane ticket to board. Before taking my first step I take one last good look at Zane then leave.

I get onto the plane and take my seat in first class. I put my things in the over head and sit down buckling myself up

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome onboard Flight 87D with service from Washington to the United Kingdom. We are currently second in line for take-off and are expected to be in the air in approximately three minutes time. We ask that you please fasten your seatbelts at this time and secure all baggage underneath your seat or in the overhead compartments. We also ask that your seats and table trays are in the upright position for take-off. Please turn off all personal electronic devices, including laptops and cell phones. Smoking is prohibited for the duration of the flight. Thank you for choosing Mountain Airlines. Enjoy your flight."

And with that I was off to the U.K...
