ROSETTE'S POV:
We entered the living room holding onto each others hand like we were walking into a slaughter house. My hand was sweaty and hot, but belle had no intention of letting go of it.
On the single sofa ,our dad was seated and on the big sofa at the side sat our quests .
One was a lady , probably in her early 60's, she looked kind and elegant she wore a knee length beige colored dress with a crème color cardigan ,she had an expensive looking bag at her side and a string of pink pearls around her neck.
Her face had pride and kindness all at an incredible balance.
Caelum's suit
Mrs. White (Grandma) dress
Noah's suit
There were two men sitting at her side both dressed formally in coats of black and blue, the one sitting next to her was young ,probably a year or two older than Belle. He had sharp features but something about his smile made him look kind and friendly.
At the end of the sofa sat my boss, Mr. Caelum White, I had seen him often in our company's banners and posters. I knew he was drop dead handsome but I was still expecting a human to show up, this man was cut out of a different cloth!
His face was just perfect, his straight edged nose and perfect pink lips, his eyes were blue, but like my fathers, but a blue so deep it could have been black. His hark were black contrasting perfectly to his skin color.
I could feel his eyes on me as we walked in, unknowingly I gripped Belle's hand tighter, she squeezed back lightly as if to confirm her presence right next to me. All I could do was pray to my stars that he doesn't recognize me .

The lady smiled at me and my sister. "Aren't these two young women looking precious." I smiled at her, as we sat on the sofa opposite to theirs.
"Thank you" Belle replied.
"These are our daughters, Rosette and Belle." Our dad said proudly.
Mrs. White then looked at Amy who was sitting on the double sofa opposite to dad's with Eric and said, "You must be so proud to have such lovely daughters."
Amy smiled viciously at me and said "How I wish they were my daughters , but sadly I only get to call them my step daughters."
"Oh dear, I feel jealous of their real mom to have brought such beautiful girls in this world. I only had two boys and it has been passing that way since. How I wish I had a daughter, at least she would have kept these boys in check" she smiled at the boys along side. The younger one made an annoyed face, clearly taking her line as an insult .
I don't know why but something about this lady made me relax. I guess it wasn't that big of a battle to fight.
