*Adam's POV*

"Adam, make love to me."

Those words shake my entire world.

"Anna I-" I start to bring in arguments. I don't want her to do this out of pity or because she is worried.

I let out a shaky breath as I sense Cade jump up and down for joy. "Are you sure? You're hurt." I ask.

"I've never been so sure of anything in my entire life." Anna confirms, and after that her lips brush mine.

I waste no time kissing back. I tease her lips and she opens for me. I deepen the kiss and place my hands on her hips carefully.

Anna places her arms around my neck as she tilts her head to deepen the kiss further. I step between her legs as she sits on the counter, my hands reaching lower and grabbing her thighs to lift her closer to me. She easily wraps her legs around me.

I try to focus on where we are, "Let's take a shower first, love." I tell her. Anna is still covered in blood, I definitely need a better shower still and Anna clearly hasn't showered in the past ten days either. Anna nods and boldly, the vixen reaches for my shirt and takes it off.
