I make my way to the lunch room, but I feel a pair of hands on my hips and I'm pull into the janitor closet.

I try to scream but someone puts a hand on my mouth.

"Sshh it's me" I hear Josh voice

"What the hell" I turn around and glare "what are you doing?"

"Well since you been avoiding me I thought this was the only was" he sighs and runs a hand through his hair

"I was not avoiding you" I lie

He looks at me like really? "Elena you've been avoiding me since the party"

"Let's talk about this later" I try to leave but he blocks the door

"Not until we talk" he says like it's final

"Talk about what" I look down at the ground

"the kiss" he stares at me

"What about it?" I look up at him

"Did you not like it?" He asks searching my face

"It was a kiss" I say even though it wasn't just a kiss atleast not to me "why do you care so much about it? If your worried that I think we're dating now? Don't worry I know it was just a kiss"

"I care because I like you Elena" he says frustrated

"Of course you like me we are friends"

He closes his eyes tightly "I love you Elena I'm in love with you"

"No your not" I shake my head "remember you told me you would never like me like that"

"I didn't realize it until it was too late and when you came back I was happy that I would get to see you again and tell you how I feel"

"You were dating Tiffany" I glare at him

"I didn't know you were coming back until I saw you that first day at school and you wouldn't even talk to me and I honestly thought you hated me still so I tried to make it up to you I atleast wanted to be friends because I can't stand not having you in my life Elena. I missed you like crazy" he finishes

I'm speechless.

"I want to be with you" he looks so nervous "please say something"

"I can't" I whisper and push past him and leave the janitor closet

I can't have my heart broken again.
