《Forbidden Flower》Chapter 12

I got out of the suffocating dress and changed into a white dress shirt that I had stolen from Nick's closet the moment I got into the bedroom. Deciding that I would just wore a thong underneath I walked out of the closet because the shirt was already gigantic on me, that it went down to my mid thighs.
I had lost control again by getting loose around him. We were getting way to comfortable it was wrong yet it felt so right, I knew exactly that my body wanted him. I wanted to know how it felt to be under him squirming and curling my toes. I craved for his touch for his skin to be on mine.
These physical attraction was quickly getting into my head and I needed to stop it.
Why couldn't he be an ugly man with a personality of a pussy just so I could easily killed him without any hesitation.
But, no my biggest enemy, the one I desperately needed to kill had to be a Greek God whose looks alone got me on my toes and a personality that intimidated my soul.
I was deep in my thought while my hand brushed against all kinds of alcohol bottles that were standing on the shelf beside his closet.
He had a pretty impressive collection and for him to have this amount of alcohol laying around in his bedroom, the dude must be depressed or he was a big alcoholic.
" Getting drunk in Nicholas Salvatore's room half naked is a dumb thing to do but these bottles are calling to me. " I sighed wrapping my fingers around a bottle of scotch whiskey.
I needed a break from myself. All these shits were frustrating. I came here thinking this mission would either made me become my father's favorite person or it would just kill me and end my whole suffering from this world once and for all, until him.
He made it so hard to control myself around him. I wanted to kill the man and at the same time throw my body on him. And, that made my hatred for him grew, he was messing with my head, my mind was a mess because of him.
Popping the cork opened I took a big gulped straight out of the bottle. The burning alcohol hit the back of my throat making my lips broke into a big grin. My head began to swirl around as I took gulps after gulps.

" What the fuck are you doing? " his vivid voice snapped me out of my daze, the bottle still raised high in the air as I kept swallowing the burning liquor.
The man who messed up my head walked into the room with a cigar between his luscious lips, he shut the door closed before locking it making me cocked an eyebrow at him. He walked closer to the couch I was sitting on, his fingers unbuttoning his shirt all the way while his grey eyes held mine.
" Do you want a sip? " I asked holding out the bottle.
He nodded his head carefully before taking a seat on the floor just beside my legs. I grinned taking the cigar out of his mouth as he lied his head on my laps puffing the smoke right into my face.
Maybe I should just smack this whole bottle on his head so he could bleed to death right on my thighs.
He looked up at me as I poured the whiskey on him, his mouth parted taking the liquor, while some poured down his body drenching his white shirt and down his exposed abs making it glistened against the moonlight from the window behind us.
" Who broke you, princess? Who made you become the way you are right now? " he asked making me stopped dead in trance.
Sneaky motherfucker. Trying to get information out of me as always.
" No one. " I said looking away from his eyes.
He grabbed my chin roughly with his hand forcing me to look back at him. His grey eyes bored into mine as if he was searching for some sort of answers. But, I knew better than to show my emotions.
" A monster was made. Nobody was born monstrous. So don't you dare lie to me because even the devil was once an angel. Tell me who did this to you. "
" What made you so cold so mysterious and beyond confusing. You're a fucking bipolar, Ana. " he asked.
I stared blankly into the grey orbs. My mind was far gone as I thought about his questions.
" My childhood was not all rainbow and unicorn. It's not a nice thing to revive. " I found myself saying.
I knew I was a monster but no person who wanted to see another day of sunlight dared say it to my face before until him. His words stabbed my heart liked a sharp sword. I didn't realize I was far gone from being a normal human until someone had admitted it in front of my face.

" You can always talk to me. " he said softly stroking my cheek.
" We met a few days ago, Nick. " I muttered. A few days were all you needed to trap me under your spell.
I was a monster who killed people without a second thought. I was a killing machine of my own father, I killed innocent souls without further questions. I was raised to listen to his commands and trained to be a murderer since I was a kid, I didn't realize what I was becoming and I wasn't proud of it.
I was the only heiress to his throne. I was now stronger than the man who taught me everything I knew and did for a living, I could erase him. I had the power to do so and the people who would gladly support my decision.
But, the golden question was, did I really want to kill my own father.
Because despite all the shits he put me through I knew deep down that there was a little girl inside of me who craved for her father's loves, the girl who loved that horrible man with all her heart.
I would never be able to kill him. Not even if I desperately wanted to. I didn't have it in me.
" Tell me, Ana. " he said again snapping me out of my daze.
" Stop. This is none of your business. " I said looking away from his eyes.
The longer I stared into that eyes the safer I felt was under his warm gaze the more I wanted to share my bad memories with him and I couldn't do that. I wished he could just be gone out of my life.
" Tell me what's on your mind. " he continued. I glared at him knowing I could never tell him anything about me.
" Leave me the fuck alone. " I said standing up after I put the bottle on the floor.
His hand found my wrist pulling me down to his laps so that I was straddling him. I bit my lips knowing he could never let me go without any explanation now.
He was a curious man, he wanted to find out about me and I knew he would do just that until he knew, not for my sake but for the protection of his family.
He wanted to find out all my weaknesses so he could use it against me. And, hell would break loose before I let that happened.
" Don't ever try to get into my head again. I know what you are trying to do. " I snarled slamming him to the couch.
For seconds we stayed like that with me on top of him glaring my life away and his grip crushing my wrists, if looks could kill I would be six feet under ground right now. It was safe to say that I had disrespected him and I assumed no one had ever done that.
" No one disrespects me around here and I had let you get away with it multiple times. But, if you think I have a soft spot for you because I treat you differently than any other enemies of mine, you thought wrong. "
" I would gladly show you who I really am if you keep pushing my buttons and you won't like my very own version of hell. " he hissed making me bite my tongue to control my anger.
His gaze fell upon my lips as I bit on it harder until I tasted blood.
" If you bit it harder and more blood comes out, will you bleed to dead and just die? " he asked, his hand wrapped around my neck.
" Fuck off. " I scoffed trying to get his hand off my neck just for it to tighten.
BANG. BANG.
The sound cause both of us to snap out of our glaring contest. Nicholas cursed under his breath before getting off the floor, dropping me from his laps in the process.
" I swear if this is your doings, I will personally give you a slow painful death. " he glared before storming into his closet.

House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
