"Mr. Sanford, your 3:00 o'clock has arrived."

Luca looked up to find Sophia looking at him with a gentle smile. He stood up straightening his jacket out before walking up to her. He leaned down to peck her lips. It has been three days since the event in the hospital. Today was their first day back in the office. Yesterday they met doctors to establish the steps for treatment. Luca said he would be with her every step of the way so he was. He sat in the room discussing exactly what she had and how they would go forward to treat it.

She seemed to understand everything while Luca gripped her hand trying to take in everything they were saying. It was not something he had much knowledge on but the things that stood out was how extensive this was. She would be starting chemotherapy in a weeks time. She would be going once every three weeks for 6 total treatments. They advised during that time they would be hunting down for a match for a bone marrow transplant. Once the surgery is complete, she would then go through radiation for a month straight every day.

Pulling back he looked her in those deep emeralds, "Let's go Tesoro."

She nodded her head turning as he placed his hand at the small of her back as they walked side by side to the conference room. Sophia opened the door for him which he scowled at but she just grinned back at him. He had to hold back the eye roll at her cheekiness as he enter the meeting. Mark was already present and stood to shake his and Sophia's hands. They all exchanged hands with the other business partners in the room. There were two men and one woman. As they took their seats, Sophia walked around making sure each person had a glass of water before taking her seat next to Luca.

The meeting went well and the woman at the end pulled Sophia over to the side. Luca raised a brow but held back and watched as the woman smiled at his tesoro. She leaned in saying something quietly that made Sophia laugh before turning to look back at him. His curiosity was peaked but he waited until he saw the woman hand over a card to Sophia before walking over. His arm automatically going around her waist. The business woman smiled at the gesture before telling Sophia she would be in touch leaving afterwards.

"Tesoro, what was that?"

He said lowly in her ear as they both stared at the closing door. Sophia grinned up at him practically bouncing on her toes. "Luca, she wanted to hire me-"

"You work here." He said sternly looking down at her. She stopped bouncing and pouted at him. His eyes zooming in on the lips before going back to her eyes.

"Would you let me finish?" She huffed crossing her arms. Luca's arms coming around to encircle her securely. His lips going to her neck to kiss it tenderly.

"I'm sorry love. She wanted to hire you for what?"

"She recognized me from my photos online. She wanted to hire me to take photos for her online site."

"As a photographer?" Luca asked earning a beam smile with a head nod. "Congratulations love but how did she recognize you?"

"Some of my online work has me featured by it. She must have seen them."

"Maybe..." He said replaying how the woman was looking at his tesoro. His thoughts are stopped as she cups his cheek making his eyes lock with hers.

"What is it Luca?"

"I didn't like the way she was looking at you."

Sophia's eyes go wide before she begins laughing shaking her head at him. "You could not possibly mean what I think you're implying!"

"She was checking you out tesoro." He said as his arms tightened. The look on Sophia's face showed how much she didn't believe it. "What is hard to believe that someone could be attracted to you?"

"Cause people don't look at me like that!" Her expression completely baffled. This time it was Luca's turn to chuckle kissing her forehead.

"You have no idea love."

"So wait, is that why she offered me a job?!" Sophia really was confused. Was that woman coming on to her?? A kiss to her lips stops her thoughts.

"I don't know but the point is you have an opportunity to do something you love." He pecked her lips once again before pulling back. "As long as I am with you."

"I'm doing these after hours so it won't mess with our work schedule."

"I'm not worried love."

He rotated her to his side so they could exit the conference room. They both walked back to find Mark standing outside his office door. The older man smiled at the couple as they reached him. Luca opened his door allowing Sophia to step in first. His own smirk reaching his lips as she rolled her eyes at him. Mark chuckled at the obvious pair as he followed them in. Luca took his seat with Sophia and Mark sitting in front of him. They all reviewed the meeting and the deal that was just confirmed before going into small talk.

"So wait you could see it too?" Sophia asked looking at Mark in horror.

The older man nodded as he chuckled at her expression. "It was clear that she took an interest in you Sophia."

"I didn't know!" She said throwing her hands up in the air before looking back at an amused Luca. He just winked at her earning a blush from the red hair beauty.

"I should get back before Brad does something I don't know about."

Mark stands to exit giving a hand shake to both Sophia and Luca before exiting. Sophia stood to leave as well before noticing Luca rounding his table to capture her yet again. He has been very clingy to her lately which is something she didn't mind. His touch brought both a calmness and an exhilaration to her. She turned wrapping her arms around his neck.

"This is highly inappropriate Mr. Sanford."

"Says who Ms. Andrews?" His voice dropping lowly as his head begins to lean down. His lips hovering over hers in a teasing manner. "Tell me tesoro... Is this so wrong?"

She can't think straight instead pulls his neck down to connect their lips in a heated kiss. His hold on her waist practically digging into her but she didn't care. The kiss was fierce and taking her breath away as they indulged in each other. Luca growled lowly as her fingers weaved in his hair digging her nails into his scalp.

"Fuck tesoro"

The sound of his hoarse voice doing Sophia in as she pushed him back so he was leaning against his desk with her in between his legs. His lips moving ferociously against hers trying to savor her. His hand coming up to cup the back of her neck while the other traveled down to her ass squeezing it in his palm earning a gasp from her. His tongue taking the opportunity to dive in searching every crevice of her mouth.

The phone rings bring them both back down as Sophia gently pulls back. Her hands were still in his hair as she looked at a disheveled Luca. He looked sexy like this but she had to control her raging hormones. Her hands slowly slid down the back of his hair to his neck before coming down his chest. His hands still holding her as he tries to regulate his breathing. The phone continues to ring on his desk. His eyes looking at the goddess within his grasp wanting to worship every bit of her. Her hair out of sorts due to his hand and the heaving of her chest due to their reluctance to be apart.

"Tonight, 7:00"

"What?" Sophia says still in a haze. Luca pulls her gently forward to peck her delicious lips.

"I would like to have a date with you tesoro... tonight. What do you say?"

Sophia feels a blush creep her cheeks as she nods. He pecks her lips once more before reaching back for the phone that won't stop ringing. She straightens herself out before exiting his office with a grin plastered on her face. She gets to her desk sitting down still smiling like a kid on Christmas before calling her sister.

"Yes my baby sister?"

"Hey, can you help me? Luca wants to take me on a date tonight."

Sophia can hear her sister giggle on the other end before speaking. "I got you sis, see you when you get home."

"Love you Jess"

"Love you too sis."

With that Sophia hangs up extremely excited about tonight. She tried focusing on work and trying to get caught up. Her hospital visit was not exactly planned so everything she usually helped due here in the office fell behind. Mr. Sanford did help Luca for the past few days with Mark by his side and Taylor handled all the financial side of her work load but her secretary work just sat there building up. She had to rearrange his schedule accordingly and email back potential partners. Luca did advise her that he wanted to make sure he was off the days of her chemo. Her heart melted at the sincerity he had for her. He wasn't kidding when he said he would be there for it all. She just hoped it wouldn't get like last time.

Her mood slightly dampening remembering how hard it was on her last time. Shaking those thoughts away, she focused back on her work before it was time to head home. She didn't notice the time until she felt eyes on her and jumped finding Luca standing in front of her.

"I told you not to do that!" She scolded playfully. He chuckled coming around her desk to kiss her head.

"I didn't sneak up on you. I was standing in front of you."

"Still..." She tries to defend herself aware she has no leg to stand on. He was right.

"Come on tesoro. Time to head home."

She nodded powering off her computer and stood up gathering her things. Luca's hand going to her back as he walked her to the elevator. They walked out of the building getting a few glances. By this point the whole office had heard about them and no one dare say anything about it. The story of Monica Dean used as a warning to everyone. But in most cases, no one seemed to mind. Almost everyone loved Sophia since she was able to loosen up their cold hearted boss. It was clear the pair were smitten with each other and if it meant having an easier day at the office, who was going to object?!

Luca opened the passenger door to his car helping her in before going to the driver side. Luca informed her he would be picking her up and dropping her off daily. His reasoning was that Jessica may need the vehicle with the baby. Sophia didn't believe it but didn't push the matter. She liked driving with Luca. They would talk about random things if they weren't jamming out to something on the radio. It was awesome to watch Luca try to rap. Sophia couldn't breathe because she was laughing so hard.

Reaching Jessica and Sophia's home, Luca puts the car in park before reaching over to cup her cheek. Sophia smiles as she leans over the console attaching their lips once again. This kiss was slow and sensual as they danced against each other in unison. Neither wanting to pull away until the air was completely evaporated from both of their lungs. Once they pulled away Luca pecked her lips a few more times pulling back stroking her cheek.

"I'll be back in two hours to pick you up tesoro."

"Okay" She said sounding breathless. Luca just smiles kissing her cheek making her eyes close enjoy his touch.

"You better go before I don't let you."

She squeaked jumping out of his car leaving Luca to laugh at her antics. She jogged up to her door with a permanent blush on her cheeks before turning back to Luca. His amused eyes still locked on her as he waves. She waves before going into the home. The moment the door is closed she leans against it closing her eyes biting her lip to stop from squealing again. She opened her eyes and jumped again. Standing at the bottom step of the stairs is her sister with her hands on her hips.

"That good huh?"
