《Married To The Don》F O R T Y- S I X

" Why do we have to bring these idiots with us? " Seth groaned in frustration running a hand through his silky locks.
" Because we all need this vacation. " I giggled pinching his cheek.
We were sitting on my husband extra private jet with Victoria and Brandon, on our way to his island somewhere in the Bahamas. After, all the chaotic shits happening back at home we decided that we all needed a break.
" How can someone so angelic and kind be with some demonic selfish bastard? " Brandon rolled his eyes at his best friend.
Seth had been all grumpy over the fact that we had to bring the twos on this trip with us. As he said and I quoted we were supposed to be on a honeymoon with no distraction from other people.
Hell, he even threatened to murder both of them and dropped their bodies in the ocean from the plane if they dared come with us but I stepped in.
" Was she angelic when she stormed back in that cell the other day and gauged Kaitlyn's eyes out of their sockets with her acrylic nails? " Victoria suddenly asked cocking an eyebrow at Brandon.
I groaned softly at my friend before burying my head deeper into my husband's rumbling chest, the jerk was laughing at me and making fun of my anger and uncontrollable behaviors.
It was embarrassing to speak of what I did back the other day. I had said that I would left her to die in Brandon's hands but I swallowed my own words, although that bitch asked for it herself by cursing my child life when I already got out of the door, after hearing that I just couldn't help myself and let anger took the better off me.
" The horrible memory is still fresh in my mind. You don't need to remind me. That torturing was straight out of hell. " Brandon flinched in his seat.
" I would pay to see you in such actions like that. " Seth chuckled bending down to bite my earlobe gently.
" Your wife chopped her tongue liked it was a piece of meat, gutted the poor girl liked she was some sort of fish. Not a pretty sight I tell you. " Brandon gagged reviving my sins.
I shot him a deadly glare wanting him to stop telling the story before my own husband got scared of me and divorced my murderous psychotic ass.

" Poor girl? We all know the bitch deserved it. Her screams were music to my ears. " Victoria scoffed rolling her eyes.
" Babe please you throw up on me three times. Three fucking times. " Brandon excused earning a slap from Victoria.
Seth lowered his head to meet my eyes smiling at me with such pride and adoration then gave me a soft peck on my lips and cheek.
" You sound so badass. You should have let me go and watched you. It would have been such a turn on with you all scary and shits. " my husband pouted making me smiled at him apologetically.
On the seat across from us Brandon and Victoria watched us closely with their jaws hanging opened while they watched their Don showing affection.
" Sadistic couple they are, I told you. " Brandon whispered to a nodding Victoria.
————————
The jet landed on the ground of the islands because Seth's presence was too cool to be landed in the airport. My husband was on another level of extra.
A huge smile made its way to my face when the feeling of hot sand touched my feet. The burning sun kissed my face and body with its heat as the sound of the waves crashing the shores hit both of my ears making me relaxed instantly.
The ocean was really the best place to come to leave the bad vibes behind and forgot everything.
Standing tall on the middle of the private island was a gigantic beach mansion of the Salvatore's with palm trees and coconut trees surrounded the house as if they were decorating and adding more beauty to the mansion itself.
On its left was a huge square shaped pool that could have fit a whole neighborhood but I still couldn't see the point of having a pool when there was an ocean to swim in just a few feet away.
" Come on. Let me show you our room. " Seth smiled taking my hand into the house.
Brandon and Victoria already knew where they were going, they must have come here many times before.
I was still starstruck with the amazing architecture of the house when we moved pass many doors until we reached the end of the first floor hallway, greeting with two gigantic white doors.
Everything suddenly faded away as we entered the white painted bedroom, the world disappeared before my eyes as I stared in shock at the huge painting of a blond little girl above the bed, my jaw slightly parted.

" W-what is that? " I asked still staring at the little girl with blue eyes not being able to take my eyes of the beautiful art work.
The blonde baby girl with braided hair was like a ray of sunshine smiling so bright showing off her white teeth as she stared into my soul with her big blue eyes.
" My little rosy. I met her when I was a little boy, this seems ridiculous when I say it now but I was in love with this little girl, completely bewitched by her ocean eyes. " he smiled also looking at the painting.
" Tell me you didn't paint this. " I said cupping my cheeks as a rush of heat made its way to my face creating a crimson color.
" I had no picture of her when my parents and I fled here on to island, her image was fresh in my eyes I memorized every freckles and spots on her face and knew every inches of her face like the back of my hand. " he said making me mentally swooned in my head.
This seemed unreal. So romantic that it almost made me gagged in disgust. Who would have thought the bad Don took the time and effort to pain the portrait of his first innocent love and hung it in his room for years.
" I tried finding her. But, she just vanished to thin air. " he sighed sitting on to the king size bed.
" Who would have thought you are a great painter and a hope less romantic. " I smiled kneeling next to him.
Seth smiled in return then gazed at the portrait sadly before turning to kiss my temple muttering into my ears. " At least I have you now. "
" But, don't you think it is a bit creepy hanging a little girl's picture in your room, East? " I asked grinning from ear to ear.
" What did you just call me? " he asked, a shock expression taking over his entire face.
" East? " I giggled shaking my head at him.
" The only person who called me by my middle name was my little rose. " he looked at me in confusion.
Bloody dumbass.
" Because I'm Alana Rose? " I asked looking at him blankly.
" There's no way. How come I didn't recognize you? You were chubby and your face was filled with freckles and your eyes were a darker blue. " he said furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.
I chuckled before taking a seat on his laps and as usual his arm instantly wrapped itself around my waist while the other on my thigh.
" I was a baby so of course I was chubby and the freckles faded away as I grew up, and eyes got lighter I guess. " I smiled laying my head on the crook of his neck.
" You've grown up beautifully, mi amor. Absolutely perfect and flawless, at least in my eyes. " he said caressing my cheeks as if he still couldn't believe that I was her.
" I didn't recognize you either until your dad told me what his plan to torture you into this marriage. " I giggled remembering what Steven had told me in his study.
Would Seth be like that towards our children too? If so I would have a hard time protecting my baby from him.
" That old fool. Our wedding would have started with a way better start and more memorable if he told me it was you. I thought you were just some random girl he picked up from somewhere to tie me down. " he groaned.
" The ceremony was memorable of course, there's no shooting in any other wedding. " I chuckled earning a scowl on his face.
" I'm sorry. That shouldn't have happened. " he grunted under his breath.
" But, it was beautiful indeed. Everything was straight out of fairytales. You did a great job with the whole arrangement. " I said giving him a thumb up.
" Mi amor, the only thing I did was the wedding planner. Other than that were all mom's works. " he chuckled thinking it was funny.
What a creative way to ruin the fucking moment.
With a scowl on my face I glared at him before shoving his hands off me and getting off his laps. I then stomped my feet out of the room leaving him in confusion.
That womanizer would never learn, would he?

Long Shadow
No destiny, no choice, no hope. Our protagonist, a coward summoned to a world meant for heroes; a new world with new rules and old cruelties. Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
