《The baby swap》Chapter 2: Alexander

I closed my laptop after reading the final draft of a contract with Clarke master builders constructions.
Those people were snakes and are known for extorting their clients, I wasn't about to give them a dime more than they deserved.
The only reason I agreed to a partnership with them was that they were the best in the industry.
I've been in this line of business for too long, I know what hard work means.
At just eight-teen-years-old, I was left in charge of a 10.5 billion empire.
My parents died when I was fifteen.
I was left in the care of my godfather, Sebastian. He has been my mentor ever since. It wasn't easy going to college while trying to run a business.
While kids my age were going out to parties, I was at home trying to figure out a new business strategy to expand the business. Since then, our airlines have been the best and most highly recommended.
Sebastian helped me through it, he helped manage the business until I was completely prepared.
I worked hard so that I could have everything I have. Now I go out to drink whenever I want and only show up to work when I feel like it.
I heard a soft knock on the door then mattered "Come in,"
My assistant Rosie walked in, her hands behind her back.
"Sir, I just wanted to remind you of your meeting Monday morning, 7 a.m. I'll make sure to remind you again on Sunday." Rosie said.
"Thank you," I said then looked up onto my computer.
"Is there anything else you need before I go home?" She asked, her head tilted down.
Rosie has even afraid of me ever since I shouted at her, all my employees are. As long as you get things done exactly how I want them, we'll get along perfectly.
I shook my head no, I dismissed her by simply waving her away.
My phone vibrating on the table. I picked it up, Justin's name popping up on my screen.
We went to college together. He is my best friend.
While some people get distracted by drugs, I have Justin. He is always looking for the next stupid thing to do.
"I'm working," I said answering the phone.
"Come on Alex, it's Friday night. Let's have some fun." Justin said.
I sighed.
"Come over to my club, Starlight diamonds." He insisted. "Some models are waiting for you." He said in a tempting tone.
Justin owned a few of the most exclusive nightclubs in the city. An entry fee for just one night could cost you a few hundred bucks, not to mention the VIP section.
"Fine, I'll see you there," I replied then hung up the phone.
Justin was just going to have to wait. I had a couple more documents I needed to sign plus emails to check, I had someone who responded to my e-mails for me.

After about thirty minutes of checking emails, I looked at my watch to see that it was already 7 p.m.
I pressed the bottom corner button on the computer to shut it down.
I grabbed my car keys heading to the club.
As usual, the roads were jammed with traffic. The club was half an hour away, but it took me nearly two hours.
I parked my car in the back entrance, in the private parking space. Tonight especially the club would be full, it would be easier to use the back entrance.
"Good evening sir," the Friday night shift guard, Gerry said.
"Evening," I replied walking past him.
I took the elevator, leading me upstairs into the VIP section.
Tonight was just like every other Friday evenings, the club was packed as usual.
I took my seat on the couch in the far corner.
Justin was at the bar a few meters away, with Chole who was not paying attention to him.
He has been trying to hook up with her for a week, it's getting pathetic.
"Would you like anything to drink sir?" A waitress asked bringing me out of my thoughts.
"The usual," I answered.
Minutes later, she came with a glass full of Scotch, the ice blocks filling the glass halfway.
After a while, Justin must have noticed Chole's lack of interest.
He spotted me on the couch then waved his hand to acknowledge my presence.
He came towards me with a defeated smile on his face.
"You look too desperate," I said to Justin as he took a seat beside me. "She is never going to fall for you if you keep giving her all that attention." I continued.
"What makes you think I want her to fall for me?" Justin said.
He exhaled deeply, resting his head on the couch.
"Come on, I know you man," I said then slapped his shoulder lightly.
"And what would be the way to make her fall for me?" He asked sitting up straight.
"Talk to other girls, make her feel like she isn't the only girl in the room. Women love it when they get ignored." I said.
"Is that what you are doing to those girls over there?" Justin said pointing to two redheads who winked at me biting their lips.
"Why do you always have better luck at women than me?" Justin whined.
I chuckled.
"Because I'm better looking than you plus, women love it when I smile. They literally fall apart." I said then smirked with confidence.
From the cover of my eye, I noticed the two redheads still staring.
I crooked my index finger, telling them to come over.
"Why don't you just go to them?" Justin said annoyed.
"I never go to women, they come to me," I replied with a cocky smile.
The first redhead came over then leaned forward as she sat down making her breast for visible.

The other one followed sitting on my lap.
Justin moved away rolling his eyes.
"Hi," I said to them with a wicked smile.
They immediately looked down, their cheeks flushing red as they giggled.
The moment I smiled, I knew I already had them wrapped around my finger.
The redhead sitting on my lap run her lips onto my neck and started slowly working her way to my ear knob.
Redhead one shoved redhead two off of my lap as she leaned closer to me.
"Ladies, there is enough to go around," I said.
They both eyed each other with murderous glares.
Redhead one pulled me into a kiss, slowing sucking onto my bottom lip.
I pulled my lips away from her, pushing my way up.
"Ladies, why don't we celebrate? I'll get a bottle of champagne at the bar to start the night." I said nearly falling over after five glasses of Scotch.
"Alex," Justin yelled.
I stopped in my tracks, he pulled me aside to talk.
"I need your help, I need you to help me talk to someone, I can't just approach her." He said.
"Who is it?" I asked letting out a deep sigh.
She pointed to a brunette dancing on the dance floor.
"She's hot and definitely out of your league," I said staring at her curves.
He slapped me on the shoulder bringing me back to reality.
"Exactly, it would make Chole jealous." He said.
"When are you going to give up?" I said.
"Not until I have her," He said with a grin on his face.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked.
"How about, I'll be the shining armour," He said.
"Fine," I said.
Justin rubbed his hands together excited.
I can't believe I was going to do this for him.
I went to the bartender and orders a bottle of champagne. I took three hundred and fifty dollar notes out of my wallet and handed it to the bartender.
"Keep the change," I said as he handed me the bottle.
He gave me a small smile of gratitude before attending to another customer.
I immediately spotted the brunette, still dancing with her friends.
"Let's do this," I mumbled to myself.
I walked over to her.
I leaned over and slightly pushed her back causing her to lose her balance and fall on me. I threw the bottle of champagne onto the floor, making it look like an accident.
I placed my hands on her shoulders feeling her warm skin against mine, putting her back on her feet.
"What the hell is wrong with you," I yelled in a deep voice.
She turned around, but it wasn't to look at me. She looked at the broken pieces of the champagne bottle on the floor.
She looked up staring into my eyes.
My heart softened a little as the wall around it melted into her stare.
What was I saying? I needed to get my head back in the game.
"What's your problem, that's not the way to look for attention!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry, it was an accident. I'll buy you another bottle." She said apologetically.
"By that displeasing dress, you're wearing I doubt you can afford it." I mocked.
I wanted to see how far I could press her buttons before she finally explodes.
"What's your problem? I said I'll buy you another bottle!" She yelled.
"It's three hundred dollars," I said narcissistically then folded my arms in a challenging manner.
I love a good challenge.
"I'll..." She gibbered.
"What is going on here?" Justin interrupted.
I was just starting to like this part of the conversation.
"She just broke my full bottle of $300 champagne." I 'explained'. "Justin, this is supposed to be an exclusive club. Since when did you start letting beggers in?"
He cocked his head to the left, secretly telling me to go away.
"Alex, I'll handle this. We can get another bottle. It's on me." Justin said.
"Don't bother," I yelled walking away.
"I'll pay you back," She yelled after me.
I couldn't help but smirk.
Since Justin is so bad at approaching women, we made this a little game. One of us has to be the douche bag, says something rude or disrespectful then the other comes along and smooths things over, making him the 'knight in shining armour'. You would be surprised how often this works.
I went to the bar again and brought a new bottle. The two redheads were now throwing M and Ms at each other from the big round bowl on the table.
I sat in between them.
"Who is ready to party," I said popping the bottle.
"Yeah," they yelled simultaneously.
Soon after Justin followed.
"Thanks, bro," Justin said. "I think it worked, Chole saw that. She was definitely jealous." Justin said.
"For all that effort I had to pull, that was a very short conversion, was she bored already?" I mocked.
The two redheads were too drunk to pay any mind to our conversion, they were in their own little world.
"Actually..."
"Justin, can I talk to you," Chole asked interrupting Justin.
She didn't even wait for him to answer before she pulled him away into a corner.
I found my eyes roaming back on that brunette.
I couldn't help but notice her smile as she laughed at her friends. Something in my chest was melted by her laugh. I hated that feeling, it made me feel too disposed. I don't know what was happening to me.
"Why don't we take this party to my penthouse," I said to the two redheads with a smirk on my face.
