It was the first time I ever got into his car. A fresh fragrance of lemon mixed with mint coated the space. It brings a relaxing atmosphere over me. I fixed my gaze on the side mirror to see a necklace with a ring hung on it. And I couldn't help but felt bothered by it -

"Is that your marriage ring?" I blurted out unceremoniously. Curiosity overwhelmed me and I wanted to see what kind of expression was he making.

He looked happy yet sad at the same time. How can this man - a man that never smiles make a face like that. Was he that happy? Are you happy with Eunhee, Jungkook?

"I'm really surprised. You never have an interest in girls. Yet that plain one managed to somehow crawl up to you." I spoke again as Jungkook inserted the key in the ignition before the car roared to life.

Jungkook then turned his head to me with a judgemental look on his face. "I would be very glad if you don't pry into my private life anymore." The smile he flashed certainly doesn't look genuine at all. They are pure hateful.

"I was your high school friend. I deserved to know so."

"What makes you think that way?"

Jungkook suddenly grabbed my seat, pulling his body over the center console and closer to me. I was taken aback with wide eyes.

"What did you say to Eunhee?" Jungkook's low and threatening voice questioned me. His voice pierced the still air and my breath was hitched in my throat. When he saw the fear in my eyes, his brows slowly withdrawing from his eyes.

"I - what is she to you?" I shot hesitantly , not confronting his intimidating eyes properly. My voice was trembling as I can feel his resentment skating down my spine.

"Do I need to explain again? She's my wife." Jungkook said, plainly.

"That's all then! She's only your wife by name! You don't love her!" I shouted back in his face. But soon, I lost to his dominance aura penetrating me.

He slammed his hand on the window beside me, half of his body towering over me, covering me completely with his shadow. I cowered at his deep frown and gripped my fists.

"If this satisfies you then -" Jungkook paused before continuing..

"I fucking love her. So get out of my car, bitch."
