My heart stopped

My head fell to my hands as I tightly gripped my hair.

"She has to stay under calm circumstances until she is fully recovered" The doctor suggested

Everyone in the room was silent. My head was hanging low. Baekhyun let out a sigh of grief.

"What can we do for now?" He asked with a clearly stressed voice.

"Keep her away from every single situation that would cause her this sort of convulsions" The doctor said

"Can we see her?" Jimin asked with a hoarse voice

"Yes, she is in the ICU" The doctor replied

I got up in slowly as my mind had given up on my body. Everyone else stood up as we head towards the ICU which was on the 2nd floor.

We passed by many people talking to eachother but they all sounded monotone.

Taehyung stared at Jungkook worried about his state after the hearing the news. His eyes then diverted to Jimin. To his surprise, he looked extremely broken.

His state now shows that he actually had feelings for Y/N. However, Taehyung was determined to support Jungkook. Even though, Jimin is one of his dearest friends but Y/N was Jungkook's and will remain so.

As soon as they reached the ICU, Jungkook's eyes started to look for Y/N. He saw two wards with curtains closed. He went to the first one but saw a young kid. He went forward to the second one and saw a middle aged lady. He got confused.

He started to look around the room in panic as anxiousness took over him. Then he saw another ward with curtains closed. He slowly went towards it and with a shaky hands opened the curtains.

He sighed in relief. She layed there with pale skin as beautiful as ever. Her hair down her shoulders with her eyes closed and a cannula on her hand that layed on her stomach. A pipe attached to her nose. She looked like a patient but in Jungkook's eyes she looked gorgeous as always.

He went forward and stood beside her. His eyes focused on her face. Shivers went down his spine as he got reminded of all the times tears that ran down her eyes, her face broken and miserable begging for a voice to hear her out. The blood that ran over her face when she gave up the thought of living just to save him. He was devastated.

Shaking, he took in the ice cold hand into his hands embrace. He kneeled down beside her.

Baekhyun witnessed the whole scene before his eyes and decided to give some privacy. But Jimin was not easy to be made to leave.

"You come with me" He said to Jimin

Jimin looked at him with a questioning look. He nodded later as he followed Baekhyun out of the curtains. He gave one last look to Y/N as a soft smile spread across his face before leaving.

"I'm sorry" Jungkook whispered

His only question was, when her suffering shall stop? and if he can replace her?

"Why you?" He whispered as he looked at her with broken eyes

He got up and placed a kiss on her cheek. He moved to her forehead and then to her lips.

He sat on the stool beside the bed without leaving her hand. He kissed the back of her hand not saying a single word more, only looking at her.

FEW HOURS LATER

Jungkook sat beside Y/N for like a few hours now. She still hasn't woken up. The doctor had said that it will take a bit of time but he felt impatient.

He got up to look for Baekhyun but he felt something holding onto his hand. He looked back down to see Y/N's hand. He immediately looked at her to see her eyes wide open staring at him.

"Y/N....." He whispered in happiness clutching onto her hand.

"Why am I here? Again?" She asked in a hoarse voice

"Because you got another seizure" Jungkook answered smiling at her in relief

"Hmmm, I still don't get why I have seizures" Y/N replied

"Because you still haven't recovered from the accident" Jungkook replied looking at her thinking face which he found adorable.

"But..." Y/N trailed off

"But?"

"Before every seizure, I get a flashback but I cannot make out the faces. This time I saw, a guy poking a mouse in the fair. Then I got a flashback, of the same thing happening to me" She explained

Jungkook bit his lip in nervousness as it began to tremble. He knows exactly what's happening. She slowly getting back her memories.

The thing he feared. He would be happy if she got back her memories but at the same time he will not be.

"But Jungkook?" She called out

"Yeah?" Jungkook asked

"In most of them.. I see you" She said making Jungkook's eyes widen a little

"Be honest..." Y/N paused

"Did we have something before I lost my memories?"

FEW HOURS EARLIER

Jimin followed Baekhyun out of the room thinking why he called him out. He was genuinely confused.

Baekhyun stopped at the corner near a window. He turned back to Jimin with a darkened expression.

"Stop" He said

"Stop what?" Jimin asked getting a hang where this is leading

"Jimin look. I have nothing against you. I don't care what your problem with Jungkook. But whatever your problem is with Y/N, you better not try to hurt her! She had been through enough" Baekhyun warned with a menacing aura.

"I do not have any problem with Y/N" Jimin replied

"Then why are you trying to separate Y/N and Jungkook?" Baekhyun challenged

"Because I have feelings for Y/N...." Jimin whispered

Baekhyun was slightly taken by the comment. He felt a sense of worry rush through him. He did not want Jungkook to be separated from Y/N. His sister has been fighting through her whole life just to be with him. He cannot let another barrier come in.

"What?" He asked

"Yeah...and trust me. I will treat her better than Jungkook. I just need a chance." Jimin said trying to convince

Baekhyun scoffed at his comment and replied.

"How are you any better than Jungkook?"

"Atleast I won't humiliate her and try to rape her if I find out that she is cheating on me. I would bother listening to to her first and then I would judge." Jimin criticised

Baekhyun stood silent at the comment. It's true, Jungkook acted and thought very irrationality.

"Think about it hyung, did Y/N deserve all those? All the shit she went through. Was it necessary?" Jimin asked in a manipulating tone

"No...." Baekhyun replied

"But she went through it. Why? Cause Jungkook does not know how to treat her right. Y/N is an amazing girl, she deserves the best. I may not be the best but I will try my best to it give all to her" Jimin said

Baekhyun stood silent. Jimin could not make out the expression of his face it was unpredictable.

"What do you think?" Jimin asked

Baekhyun answered making Jimin smirk in hint of success.

"You're absolutely right"
