I was absolutely confused as to why she was here. I felt like I was still dreaming in my sleep. She pulled off my blanket and came forward placing a kiss on my forehead. I closed my eyes devouring the feeling.

She was about to turn away and leave but I held onto her wrist wanting to get one more glance to see if all of this was true. She turned around arching an eyebrow at me.

"You..I...here... there...how-fuck!" I said stammering

Y/N chuckled at my actions. My heart fluttered. My heart fluttered at how her eyes crinkled when she gave a slightest smile. My heart fluttered at how her thin pink lips curve upwards into a cute crescent when she smiles. My heart fluttered at her presence.

"You have not changed one bit have you?" She asked smiling

"I dreaming..." I said quickly then making a weird face at my incorrect grammar.

She just got here and I am already embarrassing myself infront of her. She sighed. She came closer making my heart beat faster than it already was.

"You're not dreaming Jungkook... I kept my promise. I am back" She said cupping my cheeks

Her words rang inside my head. I felt a wave of emotions flow through me. I froze for a second. I look at her with my lips parted. I kept staring at her.

"I'm back Jungkook. I am back to be with you." She said

"You're back...." I said as tears flew down my eyes.

"Yes..." She said with her eyes watering

"Y-You're back..." I said crying out loud

She nodded her head. She placed a kiss of my forehead. She went down to my nose and then to both my cheeks. She then looked at me and smiled. I was still crying. It was a cry of victory. Victory for surviving without her. It was a cry of desperation. Desperation to to touch her, to hold her. It was a cry of joy.

"Y-Y/N I-" I stuttered

"It's okay...I know...calm down" She said attaching our foreheads

"You're back... You're back..." I kept on repeating kissing both her hands that were on my cheek.

I didn't wait a second longer as I wrapped my arms around her waist bringing her into a tight hug. She was quite shorter than me which caused me to lift her up a little from the ground. I cried in her neck. My heart, my soul and everything in me felt complete. I was complete. Finally.

Winter, despite being a season which potrayed coldness, had it's own bliss. It was a month which allowed you to come closer to the warmth of a loved one. Despite the weather being freezing cold Jungkook felt warm. He felt secure. He felt loved.

"I missed you so much...I missed you so so much" Jungkook said in a muffled voice while crying in her neck

"I know I missed you too." Y/N replied in his neck crying also

"I am sorry...I am so sorry...I am sorry for leaving you alone" Y/N said crying harder

Jungkook shook his head vigorously at her comments. He did not like the fact one bit that she was apologising for something which was not her fault in any way whatsoever.

"No...don't say that...you needed it and I deserved it" He said

He bought his face back to look at her, running his fingers through her hair. He cupped her cheek crying harder. He vigorously placed kisses all over her face as Y/N closed her eyes devouring the feeling. He kept on kissing all over face and Y/N giggled. He hugged her tightly yet again, continuously placed kisses on her cheeks. Y/N kissed his cheek running a finger through his hair.

"Do you still want me?... I mean do you still love me? There is still time you can decide if you want me or not?" Y/N said holding onto him afraid she would get something negative as answer

"Always...I want you always and I will love you always.. There is no second thought about that..there never will be" He said hugging her tighter.

"Don't even think about leaving me again" Jungkook said bringing his face to look at her. He cupped her cheeks which fit his palms perfectly

"You know Y/N I got a job as a financial analyst, I even topped the department. You always wanted me achieve success right?" He said to her like a kid telling his mother about her grades.

"Yes I know...and I am so proud of you...so so proud" Y/N said crying

"Really?" He asked trying to get confirmation

"Yeah..." Y/N replied

She was still beautiful as ever to him. Her chubby cheeks with a cheekbones becoming visible when she smiles, giving a slight outlook of dimples. Her long lashes and dark irises. Natural double lids complemented by her dark brown hair. She was a complete masterpiece and he would be stunned everytime because of her ethereal beauty.

"I love you..." Jungkook said

"I love you too..." Y/N replied and that was what Jungkook needed

He smashed his lips onto hers holding her by her waist while the other was placed on her right cheek. He was gentle but he was passionate and Y/N could feel it in his every delicate movement. She responded and soon they were in sync. Lost in eachother's world. The only thing that mattered to them at the moment was the presence of the other. Y/N wrapped her arms around Jungkook's neck and Jungkook held onto her waist. They inhaled eachother's scent. Suddenly Y/N felt something wet on her cheeks, she understood what was happening. He was crying.

The world is a cruel place. Extremely cruel for people who do not know it's ways. It took them long enough to understand the pattern but they eventually did and they got rewarded by eachother. It was a blessing to them and there was nothing in the world that could replace it.

Soon they were out of air and their lips parted. Jungkook and Y/N still held onto eachother as their breaths fanned eachother's lips. Jungkook was still heavily crying. Y/N wiped off his tears and said

"Let's go. You did not eat your dinner right? I made food for you"

Jungkook kept on crying not aware of how to express his feelings. He was overjoyed but he couldn't help but cry out of happiness. He missed her. He missed every second she was away.

"Come on stop crying! Your making me cry" Y/N said wiping off the few drops off tears that fell from her eyes.

The door creaked open and Taehyung poked his head in. He had a sly smile on his face when he saw them wrapped in eachother's embrace. He wanted to tease them so bad but he did not when he looked at Jungkook who was looking down while crying. His smile softened as he found his best friend finally returning to what he deserved. He felt happy for him

"If you love birds are done with your session can we please have Y/N's food. I am starving" He asked

Y/N chuckled while Jungkook just held onto her not uttering a single word. He was afraid she would fade away if he let her go. Y/N tried getting out of his embrace to serve them but Jungkook just held onto her tighter.

"No don't leave... please...I-I won't do it again...please don't leave!" He said frantically making Y/N look at him

"I am not leaving Jungkook.. you don't have to worry. I am here now to stay not to turn away" Y/N said making Jungkook relax a little

"Come on eat the food I made with so much hardwork" Y/N said pulling his hands making way out of the room.

They entered the kitchen only to be met by the tantalising aroma of luscious dishes. Jimin sat infront of the food while browsing through his phone. He looked up when he saw Jungkook and smiled at him.

"How is lover boy feeling?" He asked in a teasing manner

Jungkook did not reply and Y/N replied instead.

"He is doing great I assume" Y/N said letting go of his hand making him flinch thinking she was going to leave but he was at ease when he saw her just a few feet away serving food.

"Sit!" Y/N said enthusiastically

Jungkook obliged and sat on the chair which was empty. Taehyung and Jimin sat together and Y/N sat beside Jungkook looking at him who was looking down staring at the plate before him. Y/N sighed and flipped his plate around and started serving him food.

Everyone started eating and instantly moaned at the delicious flavor of food. They dig in to have more and except one person who sat still with his eyes down.

"Eat Jungkook" Taehyung urged

Jungkook looked at him and without saying anything he took his spoon and took a bite of his food. It felt like old times, it felt like home. Home he has been craving to return to for so long and finally the door opened. He burst out crying as he chewed the food. Y/N looked at him tensed and looked back Jimin and Taehyung.

"Is the food that bad?" She asked them

They both shook their head in a comical way and gave weird faces and hand gestures indicating Jungkook had lost his mind. Y/N gave them look of disbelief. They did not waste anymore time and picked up as much food as possible and went towards the living room and turning on the television. They wanted to give them privacy.

Y/N sighed at their activities before looking at the man beside her who was crying like a baby.

"Jungkook what's wrong why are you crying? Is the food bad? Do you want me to throw it away?" She asked placing a hand on his shoulder

Jungkook shook his head indicating 'no', wiping off his tears and spoke.

"Nothing is wrong. The food is delicious.." He whispered not looking at her

"Look at me" Y/N commanded

Jungkook did not look at her and kept looking down.

"Look at me.." Y/N said again

Jungkook did not follow. Y/N sighed not finding any other option. She got up and sat on his lap taking him by surprise.

"Now look at me! I am not that ugly" She said

This made him look at her instantly.

"You're not ugly in any way..." He said sternly

"Then why are you crying?" She asked and he sighed

"It's just that when I ate your food, it reminded me of the time when you used make food for me, it felt like home" He whispered

Y/N's eyes softened at that. She could understand how much this man had missed her just by seeing his sense of nostalgia.

"It is home. Now tell me is the food bad?" She asked worried

"It's delicious as always" He replied

"Then eat" Y/N said trying to get up but Jungkook held onto her waist

"Feed me" He stated

"What are you? A baby?" Y/N scoffed at the request.

"Only yours" Jungkook said smiling the first time tonight

Y/N's heart fluttered at his smirk but cringed at his statement.

"Never say that again" She said cringing while running a finger through his hair which made Jungkook close his eyes in comfort

Y/N bought up the spoon and started feeding him while placed his head in her chest as if counting her heartbeat.

"Cringe!" Suddenly a weird voice said

The two looked forward to see Taehyung and Jimin standing their with disgusted faces.

"Fuck off!" Jungkook said

"Huh! Now you forgot us now that she is here? Wow Jeon Jungkook" Jimin said

"Whatever" Jungkook said

Jimin gave an offended look.

"Anyway we have to leave. It's late. See you guys tomorrow" Taehyung said dragging Jimin with him to the door.

Y/N and Jungkook chuckled as they left in chaos.

"Are you spending the night?" Jungkook asked

"Yeah I am" She replied

"That's great"

The sat silent enjoying eachother's presence as they ate the food.

Jungkook and Y/N sat together. in the balcony while exchanging remembrance of memories as they enjoyed the view of the city lights. Y/N leaned into Jungkook's chest while Jungkook had an arm wrapped around her.

"You know what fuck it!" Jungkook said suddenly getting up leaving Y/N confused.

He went into the room and came back. Y/N was sitting there waiting for a response absolutely puzzled by his sudden change in behaviour.

"W-Whats wrong?" Y/N asked

"Y/N I have been meaning to say this but...I don't want you as my girlfriend" He said taking a deep breath

Y/N's heart dropped. She was sort of expecting such a reaction earlier but she did not expect it to be this early. She nodded as a sign of understanding and got up to leave. As she was leaving Jungkook suddenly spoke

"Marry me" He said

Y/N froze to her spot. She felt tears build up in her eyes as she heard his words. She was stunned. She turned back to see Jungkook on one knee holding onto the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. It was a white gold ring with a diamond piece placed on it. It had a simple yet elegant design. Just how she liked it.

"I don't want you to be my girlfriend anymore, become my wife. I am not willing to let you go again. If you marry me your tied to me and you have no escape. I know I don't deserve you but I need you. I promise to love you, protect you and give you anything you want for the rest of your life. So Y/N will you do me the honour and give the most honourable title in the entire universe and marry me?" He asked with a lot of emotions flowing through his eyes.

Y/N was stunned. To say she was happy was an understatement. She was overjoyed. She was crying and except that she gave no other reactions. Her silence tensed Jungkook. He sighed and looked down thinking it was negative.

'It's not like I deserve it or anything' He thought to himself looking down in disappointment when suddenly.

"Yes....Yes...I will marry you" Y/N said crying

Jungkook instantly looked up in shock. His smile spread across his face in joy. He did not know what to say or what to express. He jolted up from his position and asked

"Yes?" He asked in pure shock

"Yes...Jungkook I will marry you" Y/N replied extending her hand.

Jungkook was so happy that he did not know what to do. He looked down at her hand confused.

"Isn't that meant to be in my hand?" Y/N asked chuckling

He understood what she was indicating and instantly put it on her ring finger of her left hand. Y/N jumped on him the moment he was done and kissed his cheek.

Jungkook picked her up and spun her around. They were both overjoyed.

They both parted and looked at eachother. Y/N looked down at her ring and smiled.

"Thank you..it's really pretty" She said

"Don't mention" Jungkook said

Y/N's phone rang and their heads jolted towards it. Y/N went forward to pick up the call. She smiled when she saw the caller excited to give him the news.

Y/N: Hello?

???: Did he do it? Don't tell me he didn't cause that would be ruining the surprise

Y/N: Oh so you knew about it?

???: Well I was the one that helped him pick the ring sis

Y/N: Seriously Baekhyun and you didn't even tell me?

Baekhyun: Sorry chubs but something's gotta remain secrets. Also it's quite disappointing how my younger sister is getting married before me

Y/N: Don't worry I am sure you will find someone

Baekhyun: Maybe I did

Y/N: What?! Who?!

Baekhyun: Enjoy your night bye!

Y/N: Baek-

Before Y/N could ask Baekhyun hung up the phone making her sigh in annoyance.

"What happened?" Jungkook asked observing her

"Baekhyun found someone and he is not telling me who it is" She said complaining making Jungkook chuckle

"And you have been planning this since?" She asked

Jungkook looked at her in confusion. He then understood she was talking about the proposal. He smiled and looked down. He sat down on the bed beside Y/N and looked down.

"For the last 3 years...I bought this then" He said

Y/N's lips parted in amazement. She was truly touched. Now she only had one target. To love him.

"I wanted to do it in a big way but I couldn't wait" He said looking at her.

Y/N hugged him and they layed down on the bed. Y/N got comfortable in his embrace as Jungkook held her closer.

"I love you" Y/N said

"I love you too" Jungkook replied

With that they drifted off to sleep.
