In the year 20XX, when development was evolving in every aspect of mortal life, there came a day when the whole world was turned into chaos.
Walking dead people, referred to as 'Zombies' by pupils, surrounded the entire planet. They were not human turned, rather they were some mystical dark creatures who behaved like terrifying monsters to scare mortals.
Yes, they scared mortals to the point of submission to him, the new, rather, returned monarch. But when some mortals refused to accept him as their ruler, they were turned into the same dark creatures that they initially despised, the brain-dead zombies.
Thus, with the power of fear, the entire world submitted to him.
The present ruler of the inhabitants of earth,
King Azazel.
In a single day, many leaders of the supernatural and human races were slaughtered for not surrendering to him.
The whole world was terrified as they witnessed these killings with their fear strucked eyes on news, TV's and tabloids.
While the majority of supernaturals chose to go into hiding or to return to their home realms, the humans were being dragged to work as slaves. The one who opposed were properly dealt with no exceptions.
This is how Azazel became the King of all races.
Even if his thirst for power was quenched by being the Supreme power, but his bloodlust remained unfazed.
He spent his days torturing and playing with the minds and words of the council members (aka the leaders of supernaturals like witches, werewolves, vampires, demons, fairies, and mermaids) and sacrificing or dismissing them if he was bored.
Not to forget, bombing crowded places if he craved blood.
He was deemed as nothing but a maniac who enjoyed the screams of pain and agony of others.
And he was bored. Mostly all the time.
