The following day we started working on the clinic. I insisted he should take a few days off, but Alessandro wouldn't hear of it.

We would spend days together gathering up ideas on what to do. I really wanted to have a mobile clinic, where we can drive around to places where people have low resources and give them free medical attention.

Alessandro seemed to really like the ideas. He already had the building and it was already in construction.

There was so many things to do. Since the construction was going to take some time. Alessandro pushed

my mobile clinic idea forward.

I was so happy. He wanted me to hire people to go out and about but I wanted to go personally before I did.

I wanted to see the people. Give consultations, help any way I can. I made a list of medications I thought I would be useful and Alessandro purchased them.

I went out for the first time and Alessandro accompanied me. I had already removed his stitches so he could walk normal.

I could tell the people I helped out were really thankful. However I could tell they were afraid of Alessandro.

He was by my side the whole time. I couldn't ask why.

We were in his home office discussing some plans and we had pizza while we discussed them. He said he never did something like this. Work and eat.

I laughed and said I was lucky to eat while I worked.

We were sitting on the floor. With a small table in front of us. We just finished eating our pizza. "You're so dedicated in what you do." He said and he put a strand of hair behind my ear. "I've never met anyone like you Aubrey. I knew the moment I met you, that you were different" he said. He was looking at me with his famous intense stare. I looked away. he moved my head with his finger so I could look at him. He put his hand on my face. He cradled it. I had butterflies in my stomach again. Then the unthinkable happened. He kissed me.

It's hard to admit, but it was my first kiss. Now I know it's weird for someone my age but, I just never got close to a guy. I scared most of them away with my awkward faces as Sandy would put it. I was always so insecure of myself. Now here I am and this gorgeous guy was kissing me.

Finally he pulled away and looked at me. I looked at him. Then I did the only thing I could think of. Which was run.

I got up and ran to my room. I let out a breath of air. Did that really just happen? Did he kiss me?

I heard a knock on my door. Oh no. That's him. He came to tell me it was a mistake.

I sighed and went to open the door. Of course Alessandro was on the other side.

"Can I come in?" He asked I nodded and let him in.

I sat on the bed. He sat next to me. "Look Alessandro I know what you're going to say and I agree with you." I stood up from the bed. And headed towards the wall. My back was to him. "I know this was a mistake. So we can just forget all about it and move on." I said. He was quiet behind me.

I heard him stand up from the bed and walk up towards me. "You're right, we shouldn't do this. There's only one problem" He said. I turned around and looked at him.

"What's that?" I whispered as I looked at him.

"I can't stop thinking about you" he said and then he pushed me towards the wall and kissed me. He was holding both my wrists against the wall while he kissed me. A moaned escaped from my mouth. What the heck? He broke the kiss and let go of me.

He walked towards the door and said "goodnight Aubrey" before he walked out.

I touched my lips. He kissed me again. Then he said he couldn't stop thinking about me. What does this all mean. All this was new to me.

I called Sandy. She said that means he liked me. I still can't believe that. She was so excited for me. Then she gave me some great news. "I was able to get a few days off. So guess what! I'm coming to Italy a day after tomorrow!" She said. I was so excited and happy. Finally a familiar face.

I was going to ask Alessandro about her staying her in the morning.

I went to bed thinking about the kiss we had. I immediately fell asleep.

The next day I woke up and felt jittery. The maids informed me that Alessandro left really early to his work office. I've never been there.

I asked Matteo if he could take me. He agreed. We arrived to the building and it was huge. Well he was definitely a billionaire I thought.

We went right thru thanks to Matteo. Nobody knew me so surly they would let me got thru. Apparently there was a private elevator that led directly to Alessandro's office. Not many people had the code. Matteo gave me the code and said to head up.

He said he needed to check on something while he was here and that he'll meet me up there in a few minutes.

I went into the elevator and typed in the code. It closed and headed up. The elevator opened and there was a door in front of me. Matteo said to go straight in. So I did.

I opened the door and I instantly regretted it. I saw Alessandro sitting on his couch with Bianca on top of him with her shirt off. They saw me enter.

"I'm so sorry." I said and closed the door back up again and got on the elevator. I reached the bottom and I ran towards the exit. I hailed a taxi and got in with no destination in mind.
