《Kings of Hawkings [bxb]》Chapter 5

The rest of the day passed quietly for Jonas. The teachers left him alone and the students steered clear because of the emblem on his chest. He felt ridiculous that he was crowned as a King on his first day, but this seemed to fit him more than the jock pretty boy from the years before.
The last class of the day had him and Travis together. Travis was continuing with his non stop chatter, but Jonas never needed to respond so he silently listen to the continuous dialogue. After class Hugh, Millan, and Jaiden met up with them.
"Jo, where are you shacked up now?" Jaiden asked. They others started to mimic Hugh and started to call him Jo as well.
"Off site dorms. I have a friend dropping off my stuff now so I can move in officially."
Travis jumped on Jonas' back, forcing Jonas to give him a piggyback ride. But the kid was light, so he didn't bother with complaining and just went with it. "That's where we're going too. We all live there. Which room?"
"203."
Hugh let out a cheer and high fived Jaiden. Travis slapped Jonas' shoulder. "Shut the front door. You're rooming with us!"
The dorms were shared spaces; four to a living space. In the dorm, there was a common area with a living room, eating area, and a kitchenette. Then it branched off to two rooms. Each room had two beds and desks, and a bathroom.
Hugh nudged him. "You're totally rooming with me."
"Are you testing my biting threat?" Jonas said, giving him a long look. Jonas looked at Hugh's neck, where it dipped into his shoulders and restrained his desire to actually sink his teeth in. It seemed welcoming.
Not realizing the predator was emerging in Jonas, Hugh was rambling. "Only four to a dorm, but Millan will probably crash on our couch most of the weekends. So we're really five in a living space. But your side of the room is clear. I'm not super messy, but I may snore."
Jonas nodded. "It's ok. I snore like a beast, so I feel for you."
"Why didn't you move in sooner?"
Jonas shrugged. "I was crashing at a friend's house and the application for the dorms came late. Just got confirmed a couple of days ago."
The dorms were only a 10 minute walk from the school building so they got there pretty quickly. Jonas noticed a truck parked on the side of the road with two large burly men leaning up against it. The group around him watched the suspicious two men. The men noticed the approach group and stepped away from the truck and towards them.

"Hugh?" Jaiden whispered.
"I know." He said seriously. He didn't know what these two men wanted, but he could tell they would be near impossible to take down because of their build.
However, Jonas kept walking towards them, ignoring the desperate and nervous pulls from Travis. Jonas surprised all of them when he nodded to them. "Boss, Everett. Thanks for your help."
"Of course, son." The one Jonas addressed 'boss' said with a warm smile.
Hugh was the first to recover from their interaction. "Sweetheart, you know them? Is that your dad?"
The two big men cracked up. "Sweetheart? Didn't think someone would be that close to you."
Hugh and Jonas had been joking with each other since lunch, even in their group chat and would call each other sweetheart and babe.
Jonas shrugged. "What can I say? He likes the abuse."
"Guys, this is Chuck and Everett. Good friends of mine." Jonas introduced everyone around him, keeping Travis on his back the entire time.
Travis kept looking at Chuck, the one Jonas called 'Boss'. "Um... are you Chuck Lappel?"
Chuck grinned. "I am!"
The name was familiar to the others and a bubble of excitement was starting to build. Jaiden squeaked. "The Chuck Lappel, the UFC fighter?"
Chuck nodded with a laugh. "Did you tell them anything about yourself, son?"
Hugh nudged Jonas. "Are you kidding, we're lucky to have gotten his name."
Everett laughed loudly. "Sounds about right. When it comes to talking about himself, Jonas is a stingy asshole." He grabbed three large duffel bags and dropped them on the curb.
Several of the boys surrounded Chuck and started asking him questions about his career. He was great with fans and patiently answered their questions. When they asked for a demonstration he nodded towards Jonas. "Stop by the gym whenever you want. That one knows the way. He's been training with me for years now."
Hugh was listening to the conversation halfheartedly, but perked up when someone asked, "Is he good?"
Chuck laughed. "Good? He's one of the best I have seen. He can take down guys twice his age."
Jonas didn't notice the eyes filled with awe facing him. He was focused on the free standing punching bag that Everett was pulling out. Jonas felt a thrilling sensation. There was no way they would give that for him.
He's turned towards Chuck. "Are you serious?" He asked hopefully.
Chuck smiled. "Of course. It's not for free though. You have to put more work into your workout. That is if your roommates are ok with a punching bag in your dorm."

Travis giggled. "There is definitely room. Hey Jo, do you practice with or without a shirt."
Everett was all smiles, not letting Jonas answer. "Don't worry little one, he hates wearing shirts while working out."
Jonas sighed. "Hold on tight, Travis." He bent at the knees and picked up the duffel bags while still holding Travis on his back. Hugh and Millan grabbed the punching bag and lifted it up.
"Thanks again, guys. You saved my ass in more ways than one recently." Jonas said to them sincerely. His words made the younger boys pause and wondered what he meant.
Chuck nodded. "You're family to us and the guys at the gym. We take care of our own. We of course expect you to pay that back three days a week."
Jonas snorted. "Using and abusing me."
They all parted and the guys helped Jonas with his stuff to their room. Jonas looked around the common area and saw that it was pretty bare, but there was a good location in a corner for the punching bag. Hugh already noticed it and had Millan help him to the corner. Travis jumped off of Jonas' back and Jonas placed his bags on the ground.
"Not bad." He said.
Hugh slung a bag over his shoulder and pulled Jonas to one of the side room. "This is ours."
He opened the door and saw one half of the room decorated with hip hop posters and a bookshelf with vinyl records. His desk had a small portable turntable with a stack to 7" records next to it.
Jonas walked in and started to take in the posters. "Fuck, you have good taste in music."
Hugh wrapped his arm around Jonas. "Seriously, where have you been all my life?"
"Would you believe me if I said hell?"
Hugh laughed and dropped a bag heavily on the floor. "What the hell do you have in here? Books?"
"Yeah. I need my essentials; King, Palahniuk, Philip K. Dick." He shrugged.
Hugh opened the bag and started to look at the titles. He held up a copy of Stephen King's It. "Can I borrow?"
Jonas was surprised that Hugh was interested in reading his books. He nodded. "You like the horror genre?"
"It's a love-hate relationship. I hate being scared, but I can't get enough of it."
They were unpacking his stuff together, Hugh reading each title of his books, sometimes stopping to read the description if he wasn't familiar with it.
Jonas was done fairly quickly and laid down on the bed. The movement made Hugh break away from the book in his hand and he looked around. "This is it?"
There were only his books now stored on the bookshelf. On the desk was a small lamp that gave off a warm glow, a worn out edition of the Book of Five Rings, and a picture. Nothing was hung on the walls.
"If you have more posters, hang them up." Jonas said while looking at the ceiling. "I don't have too many things right now."
Hugh examined the picture on the desk and saw a younger, smaller Jonas with a kid that looked a lot like him. "Who's this?"
Jonas didn't need to look in his direction to know what he was talking about. "Eli. My kid brother."
"You guys seem close." Hugh said and then pushed Jonas so he was against the wall and climbed into bed with him. They both laid on their backs, but because of the builds, they were flushed against each other.
"Something like that."
"What about your parents?" Hugh asked.
Jonas flinched a little and hesitated. "We're not close. Can't really be in the same room together, but luckily my father will be out of town for a year on business. It's refreshing."
"I shouldn't have pried, sorry."
Jonas reached over and patted him on the chest. "You didn't know. Just some people are fucked up parents." Jonas gazed at the young man next to him. "Tell me, are you going to be crawling into my bed every night?"
"Don't fight it, Jo. You want this too."
Jonas responded with a chuckle.
Hugh pouted. "It's not fair that you laugh when no one is around or can hear. No one will ever believe me."
"But babe, isn't it our little secret?" Jonas joked with him and smiled a little. Hugh was watching his face and his mouth hung open when he saw the smile. A small dimple was revealed when Jonas smiled.
Hugh snorted. "Tease."
Travis came skipping in. "Jonas! Come with me! Oh!" His eyes paused to see Jonas and Hugh in the bed together. He grinned and jumped in the bed with them, landing on their chests. "Never mind. I'll just stay here."
Jonas ruffled his hair but didn't bother moving. "What did you need?"
Travis sighed. "I need to be in the arms of two dashing men. Hold me."
Hugh frowned seeing how Jonas treated Travis. He grabbed Travis by the waist and pulled him off of Jonas. "Travis? Why are you here?"
Travis sighed. "Fine. I was going to give Jo a haircut."
He was muttered under his breath about Hugh being stingy.

No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army.
