《The Queen's everything gxg》Chapter 6

There was a pause in the conversation. Aerilyn saw something flash in her eyes, there was a picture of Aerilyn and Nilsa together, they were happy, embracing each other. But together together. That was strange. Aerilyn had heard of vampires having extra powers, maybe she could see other people's destinies if that was even possible, but it made no sense as to why Aerilyn was seeing it and with what little she knew, it confused her.
'Did you see that?' Aerilyn asked, trying to shake the image off, rubbing her forehead, not making any sense of it.
The brown haired girl came and stood near, Solenne, looked between them and stared at the brown haired girl as if they were communicating. She stepped back as if repulsed by the vision, while Nilsa lowered her head.
'This conversation is over' Solenne's mood had changed very quickly, it was as if she was angry, but she didn't take it out on Aerilyn, she simply wanted this conversation to end. Her eyes had turned red but she masked it well, it was a different shade of red.
Nilsa seemed to cower in submission to Solenne, bowing at her again but Aerilyn wasn't sure why. Maybe this was their way of submitting to people more powerful than them, but she needed answers and this was her only chance to find out what would happen to them.
"No it's not, you never answered my question" Aerilyn defiantly spoke, her voice becoming louder as she said it.
Aerilyn tried to grab a hold of Solenne, but as fast as she reached for her, Solenne threw her causing her to crash into one of the aisles, hitting the side of her head, causing it to have a cut, it all happened in a blink of an eye.
Aerilyn slowly lifted her hand to her head and looked at the blood on her hand, shock coursing through her system.
Aerilyn gasped, tears threatening to spill over, her eyes became glassy.
"Insolence! I will not be spoken to or demanded by you a mere human girl of all people" Solenne stated.
Aerilyn flinched as Solenne took a step closer, noticing how scared the human girl was, causing her to stop, stray tears fell down Aerilyn's face.
Her heart was pounding.
Solenne's eyes flashed from gold to red and back as if she couldn't handle her emotions.

Solenne towered above Aerilyn, her guards watching in disbelief that a human had tried to grab her, but also that she hadn't punished the girl more.
Solenne bent down.
"Next time you disrespect me there will be consequences" she asserted.
Aerilyn stayed silent after she had said that and lowered her head.
"Great now all the rogues in the area will be able to smell her blood and the guards will find it hard to control themselves, even i'm finding it hard" Nilsa whined.
But Solenne had already turned around and was walking out towards the exit, out into the now pouring rain. Not even saying good bye. Aerilyn didn't know why she cared, but she did and hated herself for it. She had inflicted this pain on her and Aerilyn was the one who felt bad.
Nilsa helped Aerilyn up and pushed her towards the door as well, Aerilyn wiped the tears away and tried to pull herself together.
'There are rogues in the area, we need to leave' she ushered Aerilyn out.
"How do you know?" Aerilyn questioned.
"Because I can sense them, my hearing is excellent" she replied smirking.
"Get your hands off of me" Aerilyn squealed as she grabbed her, moving faster.
"Keep quiet" she gritted.
'Can't you just kill them' Aerilyn sarcastically replied. She felt like she had nothing else to lose.
'It's not as simple at that' she answered.
A guard shoved Aerilyn to hurry as they had already been there long enough. Aerilyn got into a car, just as she was leaving she saw them attacking, Ren had stayed behind to fight them. They were moving so quickly that she could barely make out what was going on.
"You are lucky we made it out of there, you should never have asked for Solenne to have come" Nilsa was mad at me.
"You didn't have to ask her" Aerilyn retorted.
"If I didn't, someone else who heard the conversation would have told her" she sighed.
"Why would they have told her, what's it to them? Why did she turn up anyways, I'm just another human, I make no difference to her and now she hates me. Who is she?" the human girl questioned.
"Don't ask questions that you aren't ready to have answered and she doesn't hate you, she just doesn't tolerate being told what to do" she turned her head away.

"Why does everyone have to talk so cryptically" Aerilyn muttered.
"You humans ask too many questions" Nilsa declared.
"Anyway if she holds as much power as she seems, why didn't she just kill the rogues?"
Nilsa glared at her as if she was stupid.
"As a matter of fact, she did on the way here to see you, but it is our duty to protect her, she can't just kill them all plus there are werewolves as well"
Aerilyn eyes widened at this, she hadn't seen much in the way of werewolves but she knew they were out there and enemies of the vampires, they had tried to get on, but it was better they kept to themselves.
Aerilyn turned her thoughts to what had happened. Her mood turned sour at the way Solenne had spoken and treated her. At least none of the guards were showing how much her blood had an effect on them.
Once arriving back, Evelyn, Saryn and Eli checked on Aerilyn but were thankful for the much needed food that she brought back.
'What happened, tell us everything' Saryn wanted information finally speaking up.
'They took me to the food store, but I asked them to get that blonde woman to speak to me, so she came'
Saryn frowned, deep in thought.
'The one from the other day' he pressed, standing next to me with his hand on his face.
Aerilyn nodded.
Eli had noticed his doubt and contemplation.
'Who is she?' He questioned.
'She's important, it doesn't make any sense for her to have come and seen you, that's not protocol, it's not good if she is taking an interest in you, trust me' Saryn knew more than most of them which is why they always looked up to him.
"You shouldn't have made such a request Aerilyn, that was very dangerous, you don't know who she is, she could have killed you" he argued looking at her cut.
Aerilyn threw her hands up in the air out of frustration.
"Of course I don't know who she is because you won't tell me" she shouted.
Aerilyn still found herself wondering why she did make such a request, it wasn't like her at all.
Saryn brushed Aerilyn's temper off.
"What happened when she arrived?' He quizzed. They all looked at Aerilyn intently, waiting for a response. She didn't want to tell them what she saw in fear that they might think she was going crazy.
'Well, she wanted to know why I had asked to speak to her but she wouldn't give me any answers and then we all left quickly in a panic because there were rogues, which was odd itself, like why couldn't they have just killed them' Aerilyn rambled.
Saryn took in the information, processing it before he spoke.
'They couldn't kill them when they had you there and her, there were guards with her weren't there?' He spoke almost realising something.
'Yes, but that doesn't make any sense, she is a vampire too, why would they be bothered about a few rogues" Aerilyn frowned, they were all sat down on the floor, whispering, hoping they were out of ear shot.
"Why won't you just tell us Saryn" Ev whined.
'Because it's safer that you don't know" he replied.
"I am surprised there are rogues so close by, but then again we were chased by them' Evelyn spoke. Saryn rubbed his head in thought.
"They said there were werewolves too" Aerilyn replied.
Eli piped up, angry that he wasn't there to protect her.
"I don't want you anywhere near that woman again! You aren't to make a request like that ever, look at what she did to you" he said firmly.
Aerilyn just nodded her head and kept her eyes down.
'I think they will be moving us soon, we have no use sat here, wasting there men on watching us, we will be slaves in their castles and bloodbags, those who don't have good blood will be sold to those below the royals and generals' Saryn carried on. They all look at each other worried by this information.
Alex came over at that point and took Saryn away to speak to him privately.
"Them two know something" Ev whispered in Aerilyn's ear, who nodded again, too deep in thought.
Who were the royals anyways, Aerilyn had never heard anything about them, nobody seemed to know what they look like.
