《smoke with me? (girlxgirl)》chapter 1.

Tory's perspective:
Another ordinary day, where I wake up and have to go to the place I don't like at all. It's not like I hate school or homework, I've actually always liked going to school. It's just that the children there are terrible. I'm known as 'the goodie two shoes girl'. I don't like it when people call me that.
"I guess I really have to get out of bed, don't I?" I groan. I step out of my bed and grab my school uniform to change my pajamas into the uniform. I like that we have to wear uniforms, I don't have to choose what to wear to school. I'm pretty sure people would make fun of the things I like to wear.
I'm done getting myself ready and walk down the stairs. I see my dad sitting at the kitchen table. I greet him with a quick 'good morning.' No answer as expected. I quickly grab my jacket and walk out of the door. I don't really eat breakfast, I know it's bad, I guess I've just not been taking care of myself as much.
Walking to school is probably the best part of my day. I love being by myself and taking walks, it calms my mind. It's the only time I really feel at peace, since I haven't been able to feel at peace ever since my mom died last spring. It's been almost a year. I miss her so much, I have this constant pressure on my chest ever since, and it won't go away. My dad has been distant since that day and the only words coming out of his mouth are just a quick 'good morning' or an 'I have to work'. He doesn't even bother anymore. It feels like he doesn't care about me anymore. I hate it, especially now that we only have each other. All he cares about now is the alcohol he consumes every single day.

Arriving at school, I immediately walk to my locker. Trying to avoid anyone. I take all of the stuff I need for math class and close my locker. I don't like walking through the hall, I don't like attention at all.
I arrive at my class room and walk inside. My math teacher, Mrs. Lely, is amazing. She's always there whenever I need to talk. She's like the only nice person here on school.
"Goodmorning Miss Jones, good to see you!" she calls out to me. And I give her a friendly and genuine smile in return as I walk to my seat. Class starts and I try to focus as always.
"Miss Jones could you please come up to the front and finish this equation?" she calls out. I immediately woke up from my daydream. "Guess focusing didn't really work.." I whisper so that no one could hear me. I nod my head and hesitantly walk up to the front. I start writing down what I think, no, what I know the answer is. I hear people scoffing, since I am once again being chosen to write down the answer. People know that Mrs. lely favors me over the rest, since I actually try my best for school. I finish my answer and go back to my seat. I hear the teacher say "Thank you Miss Jones, this is correct."
It's been 5 minutes and I've been feeling someone staring at me since I had to write down the answer in front of the class. I turn my head, and see her staring at me. Ashlyn.
