"I won't let anything happen to you Tory." she whispers. I close my eyes, feeling safe in her embrace. "I love you more than you will ever know baby." Is the last thing I hear before falling into a deep sleep.

Ash and I both wake up to Ashlyns alarm, the alarm she set for the job interview. She looks at me and smiles, "How are you doing baby?" I smile at her sweetness. "I'm okay, thank you Ash." I hug her again. "I'm glad, let's make it a good day!" she smiles before getting out of bed. I groan, wanting to cuddle a bit more. She looks at me with raised eyebrows. "What?" she laughs. "I wanna cuddle." I pout. I hear her giggle, "After the interview we can cuddle all day okay?" I nod my head, still pouting.

I get out of bed as well. I put some ripped jeans on and Ashlyns oversized shirt. I walk to the bathroom and see Ashlyn brushing her teeth. I look in the mirror and see that my hair is a hot mess. I brush my hair with Ashlyns brush, it's a little better now. I sigh, giving up on my hair. I start to brush my teeth as well.

Ashlyn and I are both ready now. I decided to not put any make up on, since I didn't feel like it. But Ashlyn went all out with her make up. It looks beautiful, she's really good at make up. She's wearing a skirt, as always. And a dark green sweater.

We're almost at the cafe now. The cafe I haven't been to in such a long time. I'm planning to get my favourite order again, while Ashlyn is having the interview.

As we walk into the cafe, I immediately notice Elise behind the counter. I smile at her and wave. She smiles back, immediately recognising me. "Who's that?" Ashlyns asks. "I used to come here a lot. That's Elise." I tell her. She nods her head. We walk up to the counter, Ashlyns hand squeezing mine. I know she's a bit nervous about this. "Hi Tory! I haven't seen you in awhile!" she says excitedly. I smile, "Hi Elise, yeah it's been awhile!" That's when Elise looks at Ashlyn, who's standing next to me. "Hi I'm Elise!" she puts her hand out for Ashlyn to shake it and she does. "I'm Ashlyn."

"So Tory your usual?" she asks. I nod my head, "Yes please." "What would you like?" she asks Ashlyn. "I'm actually here for an interview.." she mumbles a bit shy. "Oh yes! Let me bring you to our manager!" she starts walking to the back, I nod at Ashlyn. "You got this Ash." I cheer her on. She follows Elise to the back and that's when I'm standing here alone, kind of awkward.

After a long minute of awkwardly standing here, I decide to sit down. I don't even know why I kept standing there when Elise already knows what I want. I laugh at my own stupidity and sit at the corner I love. The library corner.

After about 5 minutes I see Elise walking towards me with my order, the caramel coffee with almond milk I always order. She puts it on the little table in front of me. "There you go!" "Thank you so much." I smile at her.

Taking a sip from the drink that I haven't had in a long time, my body relaxes. I love this drink so much.

Just as I'm taking my last few sips, I see Ashlyn coming back with the manager. They exchange a few more words before Ashlyn looks around. She finds me after a couple of seconds of searching and excitedly comes up to me. She smiles, "I got the job!" "Ash! I'm so proud of you!" I jump up and hug her. I give her little butterfly kisses all over her face. She giggles. "You wanna order something?" I ask her. She nods her head.

She looks at the menu hanging on the wall and then walks back to me. "You want anything else?" I shake my head, already full from the coffee. She nods and goes to the counter.

Elise comes up to us with what I assume Ashlyns order. She puts it on the little table in front of us again. "Thank you!" Ashlyn smiles. "No problem!"

I watch Ashlyn eat her cookie with a smile. I adore her so much. She looks at me, "What?" "You're cute." I hear her giggle and continue eating her cookie.

Next week.

Today is Ashlyns first day of work. She woke up really excited. Which made me excited to see her excited. I'm planning to visit the cafe later when she's working. She's getting ready now as I'm sitting on the couch, still in my sleeping clothes.

I smile as I see Ashlyn walk out of the bedroom. "You look beautiful." I tell her sincerely. She giggles, "Thanks."

Ashlyn left about half an hour ago to her first workday at the cafe. I've been sitting on the balcony, thinking about what I wanna do with my future. I really wanna do something with my guitar, but I just don't know how yet. I grab my guitar and play some songs.

I lost track of time, since it's been three hours of playing guitar. I go and get ready to go to the cafe.

Walking inside the cafe, I see Ashlyn looking at me. She smiles and shakes her head, she didn't know I'd be coming. I go up to the counter where Ashlyn is standing. She's wearing the apron you have to wear when you work in this cafe. It looks adorable on her. "Hi!" I say as if I don't know her. She laughs, "Hi ma'am, what may I do for you?" she also pretends. I giggle, "A caramel coffee with almond milk please." I look around and before she can say anything I lean over the counter and quickly give her a short kiss on her lips. She laughs and shakes her head, I walk away to my usual spot.

After a couple of minutes Ashlyn walks towards me with my coffee. "Thank you." "You're welcome." She smiles raising her eyebrows.

"See you at home!" I tell Ash before walking out of the cafe.

I hear the front door open and I jump up from my place to go to Ashlyn. I jump into her arms, "I missed you." I hear her giggle. "I was gone for a few hours." "That's a lot." I look at her offended.

"So I have a surprise for you." Ashlyn says while we're smoking on the balcony. "Really?" She nods her head. "So I kind of talked to the manager again today and talked about you. She said she knows you, and that you used to come there often. So I told her that you are searching for a job where you can play guitar and stuff. And she said that they are actually searching for someone who can play live at the cafe. So I said that you'd love to and she said that you can come with me tomorrow and try it out. And if it works out, you can get the job." she says shyly, scared of my reaction. I gasp at what she's saying. "Ash! I would love that so much! Playing guitar in my favourite cafe as a job!" I embrace her. "I'm really happy, thank you so much Ash. You're the best!" I say before giving her a lot of kisses all over her face.
