《Lucifer's Queen》Chapter Eight

Warm hands grabbed onto me in an instant and steadied me on my feet, placing me directly in front of him. I felt nervous and flustered. "The force you hold onto these reigns with will affect him." I could feel his warm breath on my neck making the hairs around there stand on end. "Be very careful little one." His crimson eyes met mine making me breathless.
"Uh-huh," I replied feeling like a total idiot. What kind if reply was that. The chains once again reappeared in my hands.
Clearing my throat I tried to appear composed although I was anything but. I looked out and saw we were nearing the city inside the valley. I stared at the river filled with lava. "Why do you have them filled with water?"
"It runs all the way to Purgatory, once inside you cannot come out unless I take you out."
"Is Purgatory such a bad place?"
"When we go and visit you tell me,"

Gallelio slowly descended a few feet from a cottage on top of a hill. His body was so large it would have taken up the entire space on the hill and then some.
When his body completely landed on the ground. I released the chains and watched them disappear. Lucifer took my hand and lead me off Gallelio's back.
"Will you be requiring my services after this Master,"
"No my friend however I will be visiting your people fourteen moons from now."
"We will be honoured to have you my Lord." Gently bowing his head in gratitude. He spreads out his wings and take off.
I stood and watched him for a few seconds. He was so majestic. "Do you believe me now?"
"Yes," I turned and looked at him. "If I knew it would have been this easy to convince you I would have brought you here from the beginning." He smirked.

"Shut up," I whispered feeling slightly embarrassed. His laughter filled the area. It sounded so melodious, wonderful and yet familiar.
"I see your in high spirits Sire," Turning I looked to see an old woman. Her gray hair cut into a shirt bob which framed her wrinkle fee face.
Then again she wasn't that old. The only reason you would even consider her elderly is because of her hair and voice.
"And sadly a hag like you had to ruin it," My eyes widened at his disrespect towards the elderly woman. With courage I didn't know I had I elbowed him into his stomach making him groan in pain.
"I'm so sorry he's rude ma'am," I lowered my head slightly out of respect. Not hearing her reply I looked up to find her eyes widened and a look of dread covered it. "Is something the matter?". I turned and looked at Lucifer to see him still rubbing his stomach and then back at the woman.
I rubbed my stomach slightly surprised I could feel her hit. Humans could never hurt me yet she had made me feel pain. When I had told Gallelio her name it had flown off my tongue. Something was definitely off or wrong.
Anita was looking at me with wide eyes. She knew if anyone else had done what she had just done I would have them dead but with her I simply couldn't hurt her. "Anita darling must you look like that?"
Blinking a few times as if coming out of a day dream she smiled. "As you wish Sire," Running a finger down her body she turned into who she truly was. Her short gray bob grew into a waist length dark silk hair. Her posture straighten and her body morphed into that of a twenty five year old.

I looked at Elizabeth to find her eyes filled with amazement. "Love, this is Anita the witch and the oldest in existence."
I was meet with a glare as she must hate me calling her random names. "It's nice to meet you," She reached out to shake Anita's hand however she bowed.
"The pleasure is all mine my lady." With those words I felt intrigued. It was rare for Anita to show anyone this type of respect.
Getting up she looked at me. "I had dreamt of your visit Sire however, it was unclear of what you needed of me,"
Let us go inside and talk." I did not wish for unneeded ears to hear this conversation.
"As you wish my Lord." Clapping her hands we were teleported inside her house. "Would like any tea my lady?"
"I'm afraid we have no time for that," I told her.
"Well it's a good thing I didn't ask you then," She glared at me playfully.
Looking at Elizabeth she had sat down on a couch."I would love some."
Releasing a sigh I sat down beside her. Anita always did things at her own pace. Her parents who served me for hundreds of centuries had the ability to see glimpses of the future and she herself had inherited it.
"Wonderful," With a snap of her fingers tea appeared on the coffee table in front of Elizabeth. "As for all the questions you have Sire, she fulfills the prophecy."
"And what prophecy would that be?"
"I can't believe you Sire I have been mentioning this for the last two centuries." She grunted. Waving her hand the book floated off the shelf behind her a landed on the coffee table and flipped to a random page. "Page 333 the Holy Trinity,"
"Holy Trinity?" I haven't heard of any prophecy. "And how can she be related?"
"I have stayed quite long enough. What's going on?" I glanced at Elizabeth then turned my full attention to Anita.
"Explain,"

I looked at the both of them as they stared at each other. I had looked at the book and as expected I couldn't read it as it was not in english. The writing looked ancient. Taking a sip of the wonderful tea Anita had given me I waited for an answer.
"Exactly one thousand years ago that prophecy had appeared into the book of ages, however it wasn't down here. I had visions about it."
"So what does this have to do with me?" I placed the tea on the table and looked at Lucifer whom was deep in thought.
You and Lord Lucifer met already-"
"Eighteen years ago when you were six on a rainy day."
"What?"
