《Second Chance》Epilogue

"Mommmmmmyyyyyyyy" I groaned at the sound of my four-year-old quadruplets jumped on the bed excitedly. I smiled and sat up as my boys came and hugged me good morning. Isabelle had snuggled herself under Paxton's arm.
He sensed her and shifted and hugged her to his chest. "Morning daddy!" She said.
"Morning Princess." He said kissing her nose making her giggle.
"Mom, can we go to the park??" Michael asked.
I looked over at Paxton who shrugged. "Sure, baby." The boys got excited and ran off to get ready.
"Can I go too?" Little Isabelle asked looking up at me.
"Of course baby girl." I picked her up and blew a raspberry on her cheek making her laugh. I took her to get dressed.
The triplets were only two and were very spoiled babies. My mom took them to her house last night so we could have a break. More like she and dad wanted to spoil them more. My little boys were Jaxon, Ty, and baby Cole, he was what the doctor calls the runt of the litter but every time he said runt I growled at him.
It's not his fault he's smaller and a little underdeveloped than his brothers. I am very protective of my baby boy and Paxton knows it. When we brought the triplets home, I took a nap and Paxton swears to this day that when he cried I was there faster than lightning cradling him back to sleep.
Once all the kids were dressed and ready to go, we piled them into the car and drove to the pack park. "Ok boys, remember the rules," Paxton said. They all nodded. "Ok, tell me."
"One, protect Isabelle," Jacob said hugging his squirming sister.
"I don't need protection from you weirdos." She grumbled and looked out the window. I laughed and Paxton looked at me annoyed.
"She gets that from you."
I smiled proudly and patted his arm, "I know, get used to it."
"Ok, what else boys."
"Two, no running off," Michael said.
"Three, no squirrel hunting," Isabelle said smirking at the boys, who all cowered away and grumbled.
"And they get that from you," I said looking at a proud Paxton.
"I know, get used to it." He said mocking my words.
"And get used to the couch," I said turning back to the kids.

"Ok, go on and play nice with the other kids." They jumped out of the car as we went to the benches to sit down.
Paxton pulled me onto his lap and we watched as the kids played around. Some pack members walked by and said hello.
Suddenly there was a scream. We jumped up and ran towards the noise. Laying on the ground was little Isabelle who was surrounded by her brothers. I knelt down and picked her up and stood her on her feet and made sure she was ok.
About a foot away was a little girl smirking and laughing with some other little girls.
"Leave our sister alone," Jacob said crossing his arms.
"And why would I?" The one little girl said with sass.
"Becuase your Alpha said so," Paxton said moving me and Isabelle behind him so I could take care of her.
"A-Alpha," She said looking scared.
"What happened here?" He asked turning to the boys.
"Isabelle was playing with her doll while we played soccer and she came and took it and pushed Isabelle down," Owen said.
"It was my doll!" The little girl said.
"No, it wasn't," Isabelle said in a low voice.
The girl turned to us and looked mad. "YES, IT WAS! MOMMYYYY,"
A woman came over to us. "A-Alpha!" She looked surprised to see us. "Eva, darling what happened?"
"That girl stole my doll!" The woman looked confused, "Honey you didn't bring your doll, that one is hers."
"BUT MOMMY I WANT THAT DOLL!"
She started to kick and scream. The boys made a wall around Isabelle to protect her. Paxton was growing annoyed and tense and I could feel it through our bond.
"Honey, if you want something you ask politely!" The mother scolded. "I'm so sorry Alpha, Luna, my mate spoils her too much and she becomes bratty."
"Thank you," Paxton said. The mother took the mad, brat away and Isabelle calmed down.
"I don't like her mommy," Isabelle said.
"I know honey, here why don't you and the boys play soccer or something, I will hold Dolly while you play." Her mood lifted and she nodded as the boys and she went off to play.
We sat back down and watched them play around. "Luna?" I looked up and saw a woman I didn't recognize.

"Yes?"
"Sorry my family is new to the pack, I just wanted to say hello."
"Oh! Well welcome! What's your name?"
"I'm Lianne, this is my son Nick, say hello sweetie."
An adorable little boy popped his head out from behind his mother and smiled brightly. "Hi, Luna!"
"Hi, Nick! How old are you?"
"I'm 4," He said holding up four fingers.
"Have you made any friends yet?"
"No, not yet, we just got here." He said sadly.
"Would you like to meet my kids? They are your age," I said.
He smiled brightly, "Sure!"
I looked at Paxton and gave him the signal, and he put his fingers on his lips and whistled loudly. We waited a second before little feet were running towards us. Isabelle went to Paxton and climbed into his lap while the boys were panting and Jacob came and got in mine.
"Boys, Isabelle, this is Nick, he's new to the pack. Say hello."
"Hi." They all said smiling at him. He waved.
"Do you play soccer?" Owen asked. He nodded, "Cool! Do you wanna play with us!"
"Yeah!"
"Cool! You can be on Jacob's team! Isabelle, come cheer us on!" Owen said.
"Ok Owy!" She jumped down from Paxton's lap. Adorable little Nick smiled at her and she went up to him. "I'm Isabelle!" She said smiling, hugging her doll to her chest.
"You're pretty," He said.
She giggled, "Thank you, daddy says I get it from mommy." They went off and played as Lianne and I talked.
"So what brought you here?" I asked.
"We were at a different pack and my mother in law lives here and her mate just died so we decided to move down to be closer to her. She is in the neighboring pack but they denied our application to join, but you guys accepted and its only a half hour drive to see her."
"Aw, that's so sweet."
"So, how did you two meet?" She asked.
Paxton grew tense at the question. I swallowed, "Well, uh, it's kind of a long story but in short my brother is the Beta, and I was a pack warrior at a different pack and they, uh, kicked me out," Paxton put his hand on my thigh tightly as to show he supported me, "and I came here and we found each other." I said smiling up at Paxton, who kissed me on the cheek.
"Aw! That's so sweet! My husband and I found each other at my sister's wedding. He was a friend of my brother-in-law and I was the maid of honor."
"Oh that's too-" I was cut off by a high pitched, "OW".
All three of us ran to where the sound was and found the boys around Isabelle who had fallen and got a bruise on her elbow.
"Boys, give her space," Paxton said. The boys took the ball and let us handle it but Nick stayed by her side. A tear rolled down her cheek and he wiped it off.
"Can I see your bruise?" He asked.
She nodded and held up her arm, he looked at it and then leaned forward and kissed it. "W-What was that fo-for?"
"My mom always kisses my bruises and scrapes so I thought it would help," He said blushing.
"Thank you," she said smiling and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed bright red and the two got up and ran off. Lianne and I awed at the sight while Paxton growled and grumbled.
"That's my princess." He said sitting back down. I laughed and sat on his lap pecking his lips. "She is still your little girl, and he is a sweetie, who knows the might be mates one day." He growled at that.
I smirked, "Ok big Alpha, let's get the kids some lunch and head home for family movie night."
"Ok, but no more Barbie movies, the boys and I hate them."
"Ok, but no scary ones either, little Isabelle gets nightmares you know and then she crawls in bed with us."
"I don't mind her cuddling up to her daddy, she's my princess."
I whispered so Lianne wouldn't hear, "But then we couldn't have any fun with her there now could we." I smirked at him.
His eyes glazed over in lust, "Frozen it is then."
I laughed and hugged him as we called the kids over. I love my sweet family.
