It's been around two weeks since we are married. Nothing's changed. He still doesn't talk to me, like you talk to someone. Just occasional greetings, however he eats the food I cook...openly not secretly.

My nightmares are getting worse. I am unable to sleep properly, my eyes now have big dark circles under them. Reecie and Ethy are so worried about me. So I showed a psychiatrist, a middle aged lady named Shara Winston. She used to see me when I was young. She has helped me a lot. She prescribed me same medicines as before.

Also, I had to tell them that Zach & I don't share a room until we get on good terms. I didn't tell them the actual reason. I don't want them to get more worried than they already are.

"Ava, you have a meeting in 15 minutes. Check these documents beforehand."

"Thanks Rose." She placed the files on my desk and left. Once she was out of my sight, I leaned my head in my palms.

I feel so tired, I just want to sleep.

I sighed and started reading the files.

Finally meeting came to an end and I walked back to my cabin. As soon as, I opened the door, I saw Reecie sitting there by my desk.

Ethy has to go Florida for sometime. He didn't want to but it was very important so I convinced him.

"Hey, Reecie." I tried to sound cheerful but much to my dismay, I might haven't sounded as cheerful as I wanted.

"What did she say ?" A pout formed on my lips, to which he simply rolled his eyes and gestured me to speak.

"She told me I am having sleeping disorders and I just need some fresh air also she gave me some medicines, along with some sleeping pills." I rambled. He leaned back in his seat and massaged his temple.

"Come & stay with us." He said looking really tensed. Sarah and Emma don't know about my problems neither do I want them to. I don't want to stress them as well.

"Hey, I will be okay. Don't worry. I have bought my medicines. It will do fine and eventually, things will go back to normal." Atleast I hope so.

He looked at me and sighed.

"Alright, and one more thing ?"

"What ?"

"We are all going out this weekend." A smile crept upon my face and so on his.

"And what about Ethy ?"

"That moron will be back in two days."

"And don't tell about it to him or you know, he'll become boring like you."

He rolled his eyes again and left.

While I resumed my work.

Later that evening, when I went to help Laura, she asked me to leave because I looked tired. I just obeyed, and after cooking she left.

Zach and Lisa were in his room and I was flipping through channels in my room after talking to Ethy.

In these few weeks I have come to know a few things about him like he is a very loving and caring man, only for those who he loves. Especially, when it comes to his mom. Then, Bacon and eggs are his fav. breakfast and spaghetti bolognese, fav. lunch. And that he works a lot.

I was lost in my thoughts of him when the door bell rang. I immediately got up and went to open it. As soon as I opened the door my eyes went wide. Mom & dad

"Good evening, sweetie." Her voice snapped me out of my trance.

"Goo..goo..good evening mom, dad." I smiled as I spoke. "Please come in."

Once they settled down, I asked, "Mom, dad you have the card then why did you knock ?" Though I am glad they knocked, if they would have seen Lisa here. Oh wait ! Lisa.

"Aww sweety, we can't just come in like that." She stated while wiggling his brows, dad was quite all this time, and staring at me with...admiration.

"Where's Zach ?" Dad asked and my panicky self returned.

"He...he is in..in the bedroom. I'll call him and get you both coffee." I didn't wait for their approval and sprinted towards his room.

Once I was outside his room, I released a breath, I don't know how long I have been holding. Sound of moans and groans were coming out of the room, I felt a twitch in my heart but somehow kept my calm. I knocked once. no response. I knocked again. No response. I started knocking repeatedly.

"What is so important that can't wait ?" Door opened and out came, half naked Zach. My eyes wandered up and down until they saw a smirk on his handsome face. I immediately turned red and turned around.

"Are you deaf ? He asked you something." Lisa's angry voice came from behind.

"I told you not to knock at my door until it's important. What is it that can't wait ?" He asked sternly.

"Mom and dad are waiting for you downstairs." I spoke and walked towards the kitchen.

I made three cups of coffee and took it in the hall. They were all laughing and talking until their eyes fell on me. Mom gave me a sweet smile which I returned.

After giving them each their cups, I sat next to Zach.

"Where's yours ?" Dad asked, now what should I tell them ?

"I..uhm..I am allergic to caffeine."

Dad nodded. Mom gave me a concerned look while he was eyeing me suspiciously.

"Well, what's with the surprise visit mom." He asked.

"Oh ! about that, your dad and I are going on a vacation to Hawaii for a month perhaps." She said looking lovingly at dad. Dad himself had a huge grin plastered on his face.

"And when are you both going on a honeymoon ?" Mom asked surprising both of us. He held my hand and placed it on his lap. My eyes widened at his sudden act. However, I managed myself.

"We are both trying to know each other better, we'll plan about it after that." His grip on my hand tightened as he gave me a small smile. If I wasn't feeling used, I would have given him a real smile but I just feigned it.

"Exactly." I said as I turned towards them.

"When will you be leaving ?"

"In an hour." Dad replied. Zach and dad were both in staring battle.

"Mom, don't forget to send your pictures. Okay ?" I said trying to cut the tension between them.

"Ofcourse honey, I'll send you all the pictures."

Shortly they left and once they were gone, I immediately returned to my room too. I was feeling so low right now.

I swallowed a sleeping pill along with my other pills and soon drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
