Giovanni pov:

Where did they go?

The mission is in a hour.

"There back and Julianna wants to talk to you" Elijah says.

I nod my head yes and see her walk in with long hair flowing over her shoulders.

She looks...nervous.

"Why so nervous love?" I smirk.

"I'm not nervous for whatever your thinking asshat" she bites back a smile.

"Then what's wrong, you and Maeve leave for like five hours and come back nervous?" I ask.

She sighs " as I have to respect this is your house and I'd have to ask no matter how much I hate you, can I have an extra bedroom?" She asks.

I raise an eyebrow confused "for what? You don't have much things and you have warehouses for your weapons" I say confused.

"It's nothing to do with my job , it's for someone" she says nervously again.

Biting her damn lip.

I've never seen Julianna Hernandez nervous.

"Is it a guy?" I have to ask curiously.

"No, never" she shakes her head.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"It's uh complicated but I'd like it near my room if possible and she's uh family" she says.

"How old?" I ask.

"Uh four" she says causing me to stand up.

"You want to bring a four year old to the house when two mafias are after us?" I yell.

"Keep it down , not everyone knows about her" she whispers.

"And why not?" I ask.

"Because she's my daughter and I just want her home, I want to be in her life , I missed two years I can't anymore" she lets out a huge breath after and rubs her temple.

A daughter?

Julianna has a KID.

Four years old?

"Who's the dad?" I asked.

"Some stranger I hooked up with, he blocked me once I told him and I couldn't kill the baby, I may be ruthless but I'd never kill a kid no matter what" she says.

"Okay , I'll have two rooms set up next to mine to be extra safe okay mi amor?" I say walking closer to her as she has the biggest smile on her face.

"Oh my GOD THANK YOU GIO" she says and hugs me.

I hesitantly hug her back but she pulls away.

"Sorry just a little happy to have my baby, thank you again" she says then leaves.

Who knew Julianna had a kid.

Julianna pov:

I get to bring my daughter home.

That's where I'm heading right now , is to get reina.

Giovanni , Maeve and Elijah are the only ones that know this because they helped set her room up and mine.

We haven't argued much while doing the room.

"Thanks for coming with me since Maeve is selling some weapons" I say to Giovanni who is in the passenger seat.

He insist he came along since I'll be alone for four hours.

"I'm only coming because I got nothing better to do" he says as he pulls his chair down a little.

I roll my eyes.

"We are here" I say and park the car.

Gio gets out and comes to the front door with me.

"Hey isis" I say giving her a hug.

"Hey Jules, who's this handsome" she says winking at me.

Gross.

"The alliance I told you about" I fake smile.

"You didn't tell me you were living with an actual god!" She says causing gio to chuckle.

"Whatever his name is Giovanni, gio this is my cousin isis" I say introducing the two.

"Nice to meet you" he says shaking her hand.

Ass hat.

"You too, anyways I'll go get her , she's watching tv with her suitcases ready" she smiles.

A couple seconds later I see my little devil with three suitcases and a stuffed dragon in her arms.

"MAMA" she yells and jumps in my arms.

"Hi my little devil" I say giving her a hug and bunch of kisses.

"I-I go home with you now?" She asks with a big smile.

"Yes you coming home with me" I smile back.

"Go give auntie hugs and kisses goodbye" I say.

"Bye sweetie , come visit whenever I love you" isis says.

"Love you too auntie isis" reina says and comes running back into my arms as I lift her up and gio takes her things.

"Thank you again isis" I Smile softly.

"Of course anytime Jules" she says back before shutting the door.

As I put her in her safety seat and buckle her in as she asks me "mama who is he?" Referring to gio.

"This is uh" I loose words on what to call him.

"I'm your mamas friend Giovanni or you can call me gio" he says softly.

Awe.

NO.

As I get in and start driving

"Gio? Are you going to be my dada?" She asks causing me to brake check us.

Oh shit.

She starts laughing.

"Sorry baby" I say.

"It's okay mama" she smiles.

My whole heart.

"I could be dada but for now let's stick with gio yea?" He asks her causing my eyes to roll.

Dada my ass.

"Okay gio" she says yawing.

"Sleep baby, I'll wake you when we are home" I say as I look through the little car mirror as she nods and passes out.

"So I'm dada?" Gio whispers.

"Fuck off" I smile to myself.

As much as I hate him I dont mind him being in her life.

"I know we hate each other and so far we haven't been arguing and we are gonna be in the same house together for awhile, your aloud to be in her life, that's all I want for her is to meet everyone and them protect and love her of course you don't have to love her but please protect her?" I beg.

"Of course" he says serisously.

But I was wrong.

I didn't know how important he was going to be to me and reina.

And I didn't know how much he was gonna treat her like his own.
