"Mama w-why can't I go with you?" Reina asks as I do my hair.

"Because little devil it's for work , but I promise for your birthday I will get you a beautiful dress" I say since her birthday is coming up when we get back home.

"F-fine" she says with sass.

"Hey little One" Maeve says from behind us.

"Hi a-auntie mae mae" reina says with a big smile.

"Auntie Cassidy as some candy for you" maeve says.

"Yay , be right back mama" reina says as she runs out.

"You ready for tonight?" Maeve asks.

I scoff "I don't exactly have a choice, but I'm always ready".

"You look pretty by the way" she says as she rests her hands on my shoulder.

"You do too" I say.

We have our makeup done and our hair is now complete but we are waiting a hour to put our dresses on.

"Have you tales to Giovanni?" She asks.

"Uh no , he's been ignoring me" I sigh.

"What a bitch" she says making me laugh.

"Who's a bitch?" Elijah says coming in.

"Your bestfriend" I smile.

"You know your the only two people who call him names besides me, I'm surprise he hasn't killed maeve" he chuckles.

"He won't kill her , if he tried he'd have to go through me" i scoff.

"True but he won't , he wouldn't lay a hand on you" Elijah says.

"Why you say that?" I ask.

"Because he is stupid and doesn't want-" before Elijah could say anything else we hear a cough behind us.

We turn around to see Giovanni.

"Elijah" he says in a warning tone.

Elijah smirks and takes Maeve's hand as he leads her out.

"Got something to say Mr.Valentine?" I ask.

"Uh just that tonight we are going to have to talk to each other and not argue" he says.

"I'm not the one that wanted to argue in the first place Giovanni, you started it when you decided to stop talking to me" i scoff and get up.

"I know" he says.

I give him a weird look for disagreeing.

"Wait what?" I ask.

"I know I have been a dick, I just had things going on through my mind and I took it out on you, I-I'm sorry" he says.

He's sorry.

"Now was that hard to say?" I ask jokingly.

He chuckles " actually yes".

I roll my eyes "when you said to be friends , that is what we are suppose to do, be there for each other and listen to each other Giovanni".

He sighs "I know I know".

"Come here" I say.

He hesitates but comes closer.

I wrap my arms around him and he tenses "have you never been hugged before?".

"Uh no" he chuckles nervously.

"Your such a loser, now wrap your arms around me" I say.

He does and un tenses.

"MAMA" reina yells running in here.

Me and gio break away getting ready to kill someone for making her scream like that.

"What baby!" I ask.

"Who's my dad" she bluntly says.

Well fuck me.

Gio looks at me.

"Oh I'm so not ready for this" I mumble.

"Uh why do you ask my love?" I say to her as I lift her up and sit her on the bed.

"Because red was saying something mean about him and how I should have a d-dad" she says softly.

Red you bitch.

I look over at gio who has his jaw clench like he wants to murder someone.

"Uh your dad, is someone who is at work a lot" I say lying to her.

I hate lying to her.

"W-when is he coming back?" She asks.

Damn it.

"Uh I don't know baby" I say to her.

"Well that's okay , because g-gio is here" she smiles making my feel hot.

I turn to gio who's face is red.

Awe.

"Yes that's right, gio is here and he will protect you no matter what" I say.

"Right gio" I say.

"Right, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon" he says.

"Well I think it's time for you to go with auntie vi, mama has to leave soon" I say.

"Okay l-love you mama , l-love you gio" she says as she heads to violet.

I smile at the last part.

"Thank you" I say to gio.

"Of course" he says.

"Hey you ready to get our dresses on?" Maeve asks.

"Yup let's do this" I say with a smile.

"Leave you girls to it" gio says and walks out.

"Everything okay now?" She asks.

"Yup" I say popping the p.

As we put our dresses on someone knocks on the door.

"Come in" I yell.

"Hello ladies, Elijah and Giovanni said to bring these to you" Hiram says handing us shoes boxes and small little bags.

"What are these" I ask.

"It's your heels that they picked out and some garters to hold your guns under your dress" he says.

"Okay wait, how did they know our shoes size?" I ask curious.

"No idea" he shrugs.

"Okay, thank you Hiram" I say as he leaves.

We open the boxes and see beautiful black heels that have our colors at the bottom.

And the garters are a black lace but seem kinda tight.

"Will these even go around our thighs?" Maeve asks trying stretch it a little.

"Well even if it's tight it will hold our gun even more" I shrug.

"True now let's put these on" she smiles.

We put our garters on and slide our guns in and put the our shoes.

We already have the dresses on and we are ready to go.

"We look stunning babe" Maeve squeals.

"Yes we do" I smile.

"Look at us, we got far in life. I'm proud of us, we started from the bottom and even though are jobs aren't exactly the best things but it's what made us who we are, and you have your daughter back and soon those bastards who took their lives will be dead" Maeve says as she hugs me form behind.

"I wouldn't be here with you , you know. You helped a lot" I sigh.

"I love you Julianna" she smiles.

"I love you too mae Mae" I smile back.

"Okay before we start crying i head down it's about time to leave" she says and I agree.

We head down stairs holding up some of the dress so we don't fall on our faces.

As we head down we see Elijah and gio already there waiting.

While Elijah and Maeve flirt with each other I take Gio's hand and he kisses it.

"You look amazing Julianna" he says as he takes me in.

"So do you" I smirk.

"Where's everyone else" I ask.

"In the cars waiting, ready?" He asks.

"Let's do this" I say as the four of us head out.
