After leaving Chance's office I made my way to the pizzeria where I work to see Mrs.Rose concerning my resignation, I think this is for the best.

After greeting my coworkers with them asking over my warfare after the incident that happened I make way into Mrs.Rose's office.

"Miss Shiloh," she says placing a magazine which she was reading on the desk with a pleasant smile on her lip.

A smile appears on my lip as I walk towards her desk" I heard about what happened, are you okay?" She inquiries before pulling me into her welcoming embrace.

Mrs.Rose is a very generous woman who has our workers welfare in mind and is always willing to help, she a lady in her thirties with black short hair, with an average height having beautiful gray eyes, her husband is the owner of this pizzeria shop but she more like the owner to me.

"Everything is fine," I say smiling widely before taking a seat opposite her desk.

"That good to hear," she says taking her seat" so are you here to resume working?"

"No actually I came here to drop this," I say placing a brown envelope on her desk.

She takes it with a confused look" what is this" she asks confused.

"This my resignation letter," I say

She pulls the paper from the envelope reading through it before placing it back on the desk" okay I won't ask what your reason are, I trust you thought hard on this" she says folding her hands on the desk" I wish you the best just take very good care of yourself"

"Thank you, I will be taking my leave now, Thank you once again for this opportunity," I say sincerely.

She stands to her feet pulling me into a hug before letting me walk out, I wave goodbye to my now ex-coworkers before walking to my car parked just outside.

My next stop will be the restaurant.

I park my car in the parking lot before getting down"Summer" I call walking towards the kitchen.

"Hey, how are you doing?" She says with a broad smile" sorry I couldn't come yesterday to see how you were doing"

"No need to be sorry, Chole told me how you always drop by to check on Wilmer, " I say with a smile before pulling her into a hug" So thank you"

"You are welcome," she says pulling back with a very wide grin on her lips" what are you doing here by the way? You should be resting at home," she says with her eyebrow raised questionably.

"I am here to see Shane, is he in his office?" I ask fixing my bag on my shoulder.

"Yeah he is in there," she says pointing towards his office door.

I reply with a nod before walking towards the door, I knock on the door twice before hearing a come-in from him.

Pushing the door open I walk in seeing him with his face buried behind a newspaper before walking towards his desk taking a seat on the couch.

He sighs loudly placing the newspaper on the desk" Shiloh" He says finally noticing my presence.

I laugh lightly seeing the shocked expression on his face before changing into one of concern" Shiloh are you alright? Chole told me about what happened"

"I am fine now" I shrug.

"That is great news, we were all so worried about your safety," he says looking more relaxed" I am so glad you are safe"

"Yeah, me too" I open my bag bringing out a white envelope" Shane you are like an older brother to me, I remember how you took a stand in letting me work here even with your father discouraging words about me being pregnant," I say with sincerity.

"I am so grateful for the support you've rendered to me from being strangers until now, I will be forever indebted to you" I conclude with a smile.

"Is this a new method you use in asking for favors" he jokes.

"Maybe?" I say handily the envelope to him.

"You also like a little sister to me," he says opening the envelope before reading the letter inside" are you sure about this?" He asks looking worried.

"Yes I am sure about this," I say with a nod of my head" I know this may be a surprise to you but I just feel like I have gotten into a new stage of my life with me building myself for a better future" I explain.

"If you say so, I trust you to make the right decision for yourself and Wilmer," he says discreetly.

"Thank you for understanding," I say contemplating If I should tell him about my great adventure today.

"No problem just remember I am always here if you need any help," He says sincerely.

"I will keep that in mind," I say deciding to let him know about Chance" I went over to see Chance at his office today because I have finally decided to let him see Wilmer"

"I think you made the right decision I hope he truly deserves it"

"I hope so too. I will take my leave" I say standing up to leave.

"I might come over to see baby Wilmer today," he says before wishing me goodbye.

" Summer I have something to tell you," I say walking towards her.

"I also have good news for you," she says happily placing the serving train on the counter.

"Okay so tell me what you are so happy about," I say with a teasing smile.

"The college I applied for just accepted me," she says jumping happily while showing me a text on her phone.

"Seriously, I am so happy for you," I say happily pulling her into a tight hug" I am so happy you got accepted into your dream college," I say pulling from the hug with a wide grin still on my lips.

"I just can't believe I would be going to my dream college," she says twirling before coming to a stop" okay now tell me what you have to say to me" she urges.

"You see Summer I just submitted my resignation letter to Shane," I say hesitantly.

"What? You did what?" She asks almost screaming" Yeah I know I would be leaving this place for college but you can't leave me here alone"

I sigh placing my hands on her shoulders" Stop being dramatic I am not going anywhere you can always visit" I say half telling the truth.

"I know but I will miss your presence here," she says pouting" for crying out loud you are my only friend not exceeding Shane and you know how Madam Jane is, she so strict," she says whispering the last part.

"Okay I gonna miss you too but this for the best," I said patting her back.

"I will miss you too," she says with a frown.

"That cute," I say almost pinching her cheeks receiving a glare from her" let me leave you to your duty and we also need to celebrate," I say matter of fact.

"Yeah I have that all planned out," she says with a smirk" I will see you this evening" I wave her goodbye before leaving, and of cause not forget to tell Jane goodbye before leaving.

Yesterday was a great day, everyone dropped by to celebrate Summer being accepted into college and it was a lot of fun with everyone around, all in a happy mood.

"Okay now let get you all dried up, " I say wrapping Wilmer with his towel before stepping out of the bathroom into my room, after dressing Wilmer I place him on my left shoulder with my hand wrapped around him before taking his baby crib with my right.

I walk into the living room to find Chole cleaning the TV" Good morning" I say cheerfully placing Wilmer into his crib.

"Morning and how is my favorite boy in the world doing?" She asks placing the rag on the table before walking towards us.

"He doing just fine, ain't you boy" I coo placing a kiss on his cheek" stay here with aunty Chole while mummy goes take a bath okay," I say walking towards the stairs.

After taking a bath I change into comfy clothes which include a short and a tank top.

"Let me join you in washing the dishes," I say walking towards the sink joining Chole in washing the dishes while Wilmer plays with his toys.

After washing the dishes we start on making breakfast, after eating and breastfeeding Wilmer we decide on watching a movie to pass out time.

A few minutes into the movie we heard the doorbell ring" let me get it" I say walking towards the door.

I gasp in shock immediately I pull the door open" hey" he says snapping me out of shock.

I glop down running my eyes over his handsome face" um...what are you um.. doing here?" I ask stuttering then beating myself mentally for letting him make me so nervous.

"Ain't you gonna let me in?" He asks hiding his smile by looking amused.

"Yeah, of course, come in but if I let you in please don't break anything," I say teasing before pulling the door wider letting him come in.

"Hi, nurse Chole," he says with a smile before taking a seat on the couch.

"Hey Mr.Chance," she says before meeting my eyes with a confused look.

"Chole can I talk with you for a few minutes in the kitchen," I say pulling her towards the kitchen.

"What going on?" She asks immediately.

I sigh explaining everything exceeding the word battle we did" but he didn't t tell me he was coming either did I give him the address to this place" I whisper.

"That doesn't matter right now what matters is are you happy?" She asks soothingly.

I gawk at her not knowing what to say, I know I feel happy but I can't seem to stop this nagging feeling at the back of my mind reminding me of something still holding me back from feeling this true happiness I seek.

I blink twice trying to push back my thought before focusing on her" I am so very happy" I say furtively.

"Okay if you say so," she says with an encouraging smile before staring at Chance who is seating on the couch looking at the TV awkwardly" You are being a bad host right now come on go talk to him," she says pushing me towards the living room, she winked at me before working towards the stairs.

I wrap my sweaty hands on my shorts before standing in front of him" I want to say I am very sorry for coming here unannounced" he said swiftly.

I tuck a loose strand of my hair behind my ear with a smile on my lips"No problem, um... What should I offer you?"

"Just a glass of water would be fine," he says with a smile.

I reply with a nod before getting a glass of water and handing it over to him" Thanks"

I reply with a nod before walking towards the crib where Wilmer is silently playing oblivious to what is going on" Wilmer someone special is here to see you" I croon tickling him while he makes a cooing sound.

I pick him up from his crib placing him on my lift shoulder before walking towards Chance who is looking at us with an emotion I can't detect in his eyes.

"Wilmer baby this is your long lost Daddy," I say kissing his temple" Here you go just wrap one of your hands under his butt and the other to support his head" I explain placing Wilmer on his outstretched hands.

"Thank you," he says with excitement in his eyes before focusing his attention on Wilmer whose attention was focused on him.

I watch as they both examine each other faces" Wilmer Berney Cristain" he whispers vehemently placing a kiss on his forehead while Wilmer makes a dulcet noise.

"Mum was right he took my looks, it feels as if I am staring at my reflection of when I was just a baby," he says elated his eyes still focused on Wilmer.

I smile studying the happiness on their face's" I will leave you two to have bonding time," I say making a move to leave before being stopped by his hand on my wrist.

"Please stay," he says making my heart skip a beat.

"Okay," I say taking a seat beside him.

"Thank you for this," he says smiling gleefully.

I smile in reply.

He stayed for two more hours before deciding to leave"Thank you once again this means a lot" he says passing Wilmer to me who immediately started crying.

"See he is already so attached to you," I say patting Wilmer's back gently.

" what can I say I am quite a charmer" he shrugs before placing a kiss on Wilmer's temple" I will be back to see you, little man"

After making sure he is fast asleep I place him in his crib putting his little blanket over him" come on" I say walking towards the door with Chance trailing behind me.

He kisses my cheeks before entering into his car with a wide smile planted on his lips, I wave him goodbye watching him drive off.

Before I could take a step towards the door Emma's car drives into the driveway before coming to a stop.

I walk towards her parked car as she gets down" What do are own this visit?" I ask with raised eyebrow with my hands crossed over my chest.

She shut the car door giving me a look" The actual question is, was that Chance I saw leaving here just now" she asks studying me suspiciously.

"Yeah it was, he only came here to see Wilmer" I roll my eyes at her before walking towards the door with her trailing behind me.

"Wow he is making a move to make things right," she says walking into the living room before closing the door behind her.

"Yeah, I guess so" I slump tiredly on the couch while Emma walks towards the crib.

"He looks so cute" she croons before focusing her attention on me" go get ready I have a surprise for" she urges pulling me up.

"What surprise?" I ask curiously.

"Stop asking questions and go get ready," she says pushing me towards the stairs.

I roll my eyes before walking towards the stairs, after getting ready I walk towards Chole's room before knocking gently on the door"I am leaving with Emma, I don't know how long it will take before I get back so please help me in watching over Wilmer, he is taking a nap in the living room" I explain immediately she pulls the door open.

"Okay" I walk towards the living room with her trailing behind me"hey Emma"

"Hello, Chole, having a relaxing day," Emma says hugging Chole before pulling away" Shiloh let go" we both wave Chole goodbye before leaving.

"Emma where are you taking me to?" I ask immediately she pulls out of the driveway.

"Relax you will get to find out soon," She says changing the radio station.

I sigh focusing my attention outside, after a few minutes of driving she cut through the park" what are we doing at the park" I ask receiving no reply.

I seat in silence as she park's the car in the parking lot" Emma what going on?" I ask once again expecting an answer.

She turns towards me with a pleading look" Shiloh doesn't hate me for this" she says hesitantly" Sylvia called me this morning she pleaded with me to bring you to the park because..."

I cut her off before she could say anything more" Why are you telling me this now? Why didn't you tell me all these before bringing me here to set me up" I say holding my anger at bail.

How could she just make decisions for me without consulting me first" No I am not trying to set you up, she told me that bringing you to this park would help you solve all your unanswered questions" she says frantically.

I shake my head disappointed before looking out the window avoiding her gaze"Take me home" I say rigidly.

"Come on Shiloh I know you ain't ready for all these but I think it's time to solve these questions nagging in your mind"

I turn towards her direction to see the sincere look in her eyes"Are you sure this is the right thing to do?" I ask hoping for any comforting words from her.

"Yes, you deserve the truth" I nod pulling her into a hug before letting go, " she says she would be waiting by the second gate" she instructs.

I reply with a nod before stepping out of the car" are you going to be here when I get back?" I ask hoping she would be here.

She nods with an encouraging smile on her lips" do you still think this is the right time for this?" I ask.

"Yes I am sure it's," she says giving me a thumbs up, I reply with a smile before walking towards the second gate.

I got there to find no sign of Sylvia" where is she?" I ask no one in particular.

"Shiloh" a familiar voice calls behind me and I am so sure this voice doesn't belong to Sylvia.

I stand stiffly afraid to look back to meet the person I wasn't expecting to see anytime from now.
