W-where am I.. Uh, my head hurts like crazy and body seems to be very sore.

"Ow!" I can't see a thing. It's like I'm on a vehicle or something. I can see faint figures but that's all I can see. Somehow the atmosphere here feels weird. It's like.. It's like I've been here before..

"I see you are finally awake, Luna of Silvers Pack."

"W-who are you?" I snap my head to the side because that's where the man called out to me, "where am I? What happe—"

Neil..

"Where's Neil?!" I was about to pounce at the silhouette of the man when suddenly I feel something burning on my wrists. I feel a clink when I pull my arms. It's a chain but I can't seem to break it.

"Don't bother. It's a perfectly developed chain meant for wolves like us."

"You could have killed me earlier but why am I still alive?"

"Our alpha actually doesn't want to kill you in an instant. He still wants to make you suffer while you are prisoned in a cell and I promise you—no one will ever find you there."

"You can do that but please.. Let Neil go.."

"Oh, you mean the one who accompanied you?" He chuckles, "he is beside you. He is all beaten up."

My eyes widen in the dark and I immediately shifted my glance to the other side. I see a silhouette of someone lying beside me. It didn't register in me that it was actually Neil.

"Neil!" I try jerking my arms off just so I can touch him, "please! Let him go! Only take me instead! I don't want anyone from the pack be jeopardized by me!"

"If we let him go, he will surely go to his alpha or your mate."

"Then haven't you guys killed him then?!"

"We can torture him whatever we want!"

"No!"

I feel the vehicle stop and the van door open.

"Get them out."

"L-Luna.."

"Neil, please. Don't talk." I look around for a way to escape from this alleged place. It reeks like someone just rotted here and died for about centuries or decades. I can't seem to find any source of escape from this treacherous cell. All I can see is the window with metal bars. I can break them off but I doubt that we will ever fit in the hole.

Neil is struggling because the Wolf's bane is slowly infecting him. They didn't even bother helping us—I mean, who would in this place? They are a different rogue pack.

"Luna, I'm so sorry.." Neil's breathing became ragged and I can feel a croak on my throat like I am about to cry, "Luna, please.. Don't cry.."

"I'm not.." I told him and he just weakly smiles at me

"I can tell.. Luna.. You're blaming.. Yourself, right?" Neil's words struck me and that's when I couldn't hold back my tears. They keep flowing till I feel Neil's hands trying to wipe my tears away, "you need to be safe, Luna.. I know that the alpha is searching for you.."

"He is searching for us. So you better don't go into the light. I know that we will get out from this place.." I reassure him and he just nods when suddenly I can feel tension rising from his body, "N-Neil?"

"My wolf.. It's acting up.. Somehow.."

Someone stood behind bars. I look at her and she has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. She looks like a princess if she hasn't had those scars and ragged clothes. I know beauty when I see one.

Her eyes were in state of shock when they landed on Neil. Neil silently growl and that's when I realize..

"Mine."

At such formidable situation, Neil has found his mate. I couldn't imagine how happy I am for him but the harsh reality soon flowed.

"M-Mate.." Her voice is really fragile like you are too scared to break it, "I-I'm sorry umm.. Luna Claire?"

"Yes?" I answered and she is just shaking in fear I guess, "d-don't be scared! We're harmless."

"L-Luna.. I don't know why you are brought here.. But umm.." She looks down and I notice that she has a tray of food on her hands

"What's your name?" I ask her and she raises her head instantly

"Marie." She answers and I hear Neil whimpering.. or longing for her.. I don't know..

"We really need your help, Marie. I know you have orders but please.. We don't deserve to be here.." I told her and she just stared at me in awe—with fear on her eyes.

"I-I can't.. Or else.. I'll get beaten up.." Her hands are trembling, "I'm just here.. To bring you food.."

Neil growled threateningly when he heard Marie saying that she will get beaten up if she does something wrong. I, on the other hand, was boiling in anger as well. Why would they beat her up? She is so innocent.

"A-Are you an omega..?" Neil asks worriedly and Marie slowly nods. This earned Neil a deadly growl, "we are escaping from this place."

"We can't.. It's too hard." Marie says in a slight whisper—she's too terrified, "we can't escape.."

"Let's take the risk, okay?" I told her and she looks at me, "we have a chance. I know that you know the way. I know you don't want to take the risk but we have to try."

"L-Luna.. I can't do it.."

"Don't you want to get beaten up here for eternity or do you want to take the risk and go with us? Neil is also your mate. Don't you want that?"

"But.. I can't do it, Luna.. I just can't.."

"We don't deserve to be here.. Including you, Marie.."

"Luna.."

I stare right into her eyes.

"Help us.."

Marie looks around slowly and grabs the keys from her ragged pocket. She slowly unlocks the cell door and I slowly carry Neil while his arm is supported by my shoulders.

"How come there are no guards around here?" I ask her

"Because they think that the prisoners are too dumb and weak.." Marie smiles a little and Neil smiles at her and it earned him a blush.

"Let's get out of here." I tell them and soon we are sneaking off.

I turn around and see a man smirking at me. I can tell that he isn't a good individual. He is also a wolf--- a rogue.

"You!" I grab for his neck and he lands under me while I choke him, "where is Claire?!"

"I-I was just sent orders from our alpha! I-If you want your mate, you better come to us without violence!"

"Why haven't they killed me yet.." I ask myself as we go into a basement-like place.

"Luna.." Marie calls me out, "I haven't told you what their intentions are.."

"What?" I raise my eyebrows, "what do you mean?"

"They aren't here for you. You are just bait."

My whole world collapsed.

"What about the constant threats that they kill me or—the bombing?!"

"I heard those, Luna.. Actually the bomb is not dangerous enough to kill us, wolves. That was all but a concrete illusion to spin you guys off.."

"I still don't get it. You said they aren't here for me.. Who do they want?"

"They want Lawrence."
