It was around 8:30 pm and I was getting some groceries from the store because my mother practically ate everything

I need to move out soon because i'm not sure how much longer I can handle living with her

But where would I go? I don't have much money and I don't know anyone who would be willing to let me stay with them

I should probably get a job

Walking through the aisle I was looking for ramen and suddenly ran into someone

Looking up I recognized that one girl that sat next to me in chemistry

I think her name was Juliette

"Shit, my bad I didn't mean to crash into you" I quickly said

I swear I must have a thing for bumping into people or something

"No worries, hey you're Jennie right? I didn't know you lived around here"

"I actually don't live in this area I took the bus here since there's barely any stores near my house"

"You want me to drop you off at home so you don't have to take the bus?"

"No it's alright but thank you anyways" I quickly said

"No really Jennie I can take you home, it's getting late and I dont think its safe to go on a bus filled with weirdos aka men" she insisted

"Alright then, thank you alot, lemme just go pay for my groceries first"

"Of course"

After I paid for my groceries I was sitting in Juliette's car as she was driving me home

She was singing along to "only angel" by Harry Styles on the radio

"Hey Juliette, do you know anyone at our school named Aaron?" I asked over the music

I don't know why I asked that but I was suddenly wondering about him

I wonder who he was friends with, what type of person he is, or why he's so quiet most of the time

"Aaron? As in Aaron Willson?"

"Um, yea I think so?"

"Well I don't know much about him nobody really speaks or notices him but I remember some rumors about him last year"

"What were the rumors" I said as I grew curious

"Well I heard that he almost beat someone to death at our school and that he rarely talks to anyone, ever since then nobody really spoke about him"

Did he actually try to kill someone?

I shuddered at the thought

"How come you're asking me about him?" she said again

"I'm not sure I guess I was just curious"

"Hmm do you like him, Jennie?" she said with a smug look

"W-what no why would I like him I barely even know him" I immediately said

"I mean he is like really attractive"

"Maybe you like him"

"Nah I still think he's weird plus I'm not into men I have a girlfriend" she chuckled

"Maybe you can hang out with me and my girl someday" she said again as we arrived at my house

"That would be great, and thank you for the ride I appreciate it"

"Of course Jennie, also can I see your phone real quick"

"Uh yea sure" I said as I handed her my phone

"Here I put my phone number if you need a ride or anything you can always text me" she said as she handed me my phone back

"Thank you Juliette, I'll see you at school tomorrow" I quickly said as I headed back into my house

Luckily my mom wasn't home so I don't have to deal with her

As I walked towards my room for some reason I felt happy

We're me and Juliette friends?

I hope we were

Growing up I've rarely had friends, I hated talking or being around people

But with Juliette I actually enjoyed talking to her and being around her

But for some reason I also didn't mind being around Aaron
